  1. Frank just may get canned before the season ends. He is that bad of a HC.
  2. I knew this would happen in this game. Reich sucks with preparing this team and our OL coach sucks with scheming blocking assignments and communication.
  3. Bad OL coaching. I can’t believe they our pro bowl level players in Kelly, Smith, and Nelson forgot how to play dominant football especially in run blocking.
  4. Not sure why but this OL has gone way downhill since coach Gugs left back in 2019 I believe. Coaching is definitely an issue for Colts right now.
  5. No kidding. Not sure what has happened to Smith and Kelly as of late. They were both high picks that were very promising.
  6. How will their C be better than ours? Ryan Kelly has made pro bowls. Ben Jones has not. Jones is also a 4 years older. You're higher on Radunz than you should be. I'm telling you I live in Nashville, and everyone is down on Radunz here. And Petit-Frere is very raw so there's no telling if he'll work out either. As for Burks, his rap has always been that he is not the most explosive athlete, and that he relies on his stride length to beat defenders. He also is not a good route runner at this point in his career. He could work out if he's used like AJ Brown was, which gets him the ball on quick slants taking advantage of his size to beat smaller DBs. But he is not in the same class as AJ in terms of physical condition and explosiveness.
  7. Cause our HC can be a doofus sometimes. Vrabel is a much better HC over Reich. And they would have won it in 2020 had a COVID outbreak not happened against the 2nd Titans game at home.
  8. Indy already has guys in place to replace those OL positions though. They have Pinter who played well at both C and OG, and they have Pryor who arguably played better than Fischer did for them at LT last year. Plus they added steal Bernhard Raimann and Dennis Kelly as insurance. For the Titans, they maybe have someone who can replace their pro bowl LG in Saffold with Brewer, but he obviously won't be as good. At RT, they don't have anyone unless their very raw 3rd rounder Petit-Frere surprises. Dillon Radunz looks like he could be a bust 2nd round pick for them last year. He can't get on the field and the Titans coaches won't label him at a position which means he isn't standing out anywhere on the OL. And LOL on Burks being a day 1 stud. He has had so many issues with conditioning, and that was made known when he had a poor combine showing. Are you a Titans fan in disguise? And no Woods is not great at this point in his late career. He'll be solid, that's it.
  9. Titans are far from solid at OL and WR. And I didn’t say their roster was bad. I said the Colts have a better roster. Their defense certainly is top 10, but they have serious questions on the offense and special teams.
  10. Agreed. The only positions they are better at talent wise is at corner and maybe slightly at safety just because of Byard.
  11. OG Chris Reed just signed a minimal 1 year deal with the Vikings. WHAT IS BALLARD DOING? You mean to tell me he doesn't want to pay a vital depth piece on the OL a minimal contract to remain with the team?
  12. You do realize they could have still easily signed a starting WR and TE even after trading for Ryan right? It’s as easy as restructuring deals with guys like Buckner and Leonard. And even without doing that they still had 17 mil or so under the cap from last I heard after getting Ryan.
  13. What are you referring to? Addressing the Colts holes at starter positions before the start of the season.
  14. What sucks is Ballard could have easily entered the 2022 season with no holes on the roster with all the cap space he had. Now we’ll likely still have holes at multiple spots come training camp time. Unless you have ample 1st-3rd round picks you can’t address all your holes at starting positions.
  15. Right now I think we all can agree he only has 1 comfortable option to depend on in the passing game, and that’s MPJ. I guess you could include Hines but he’s more of a gadget guy. I truly hope Ballard isn’t looking only to the draft for pass catchers at both WR and TE. And we still need help at LT, CB, and S as well so can’t fill everything through the draft. There are some affordable guys out there like Landry, OBJ, and MVS. At TE I think Ballard missed the boat with not signing Hayden Hurst to a cheap 1 year deal.
  16. Ballard's plan of moving on from Wentz to get a dependable vet like Ryan will work, but only if he can find the answer at longterm franchise QB for Indy within the next few drafts, preferably in the 2023 draft. Ryan would be a great QB to learn under for a year.
  17. With how the AFC is stacked with talented QBs, I don’t see the Colts contending for a Super Bowl until they find their elite QB via the draft. With that said, I’m not sure if it makes any difference who they get for 2022 with what’s available. And honestly it may work better in their favor to have a down year, get a top 12 pick or so, and get your franchise QB in the 2023 draft.
  18. Another quality CB Ballard could have had is gone. Rasul Douglas resigned with the Pack, 3 years $21 mil. Would’ve been a sneaky good signing for Indy.
  19. I just hope he actually pays for a few free agents this year. We still have huge holes at QB, CB, WR, TE, and LT. Can’t solve it all through the draft. Ballard needs to be a bit more proactive so he doesn’t miss out on quality guys.
  20. This makes no sense. Why would GB trade away Adams after resigning Rodgers?
  21. If Ballard sits on his hands too long and misses out on say a Jameis Winston or Mariota, or both pass rushers in Z'Darius Smith and Chandler Jones, he will start hearing it more and more from fans on his lack of free agent activity. This team MUST get better in the pass rush department, and MUST find a competent bridge QB for 2022 until they find their longterm franchise QB, most likely in the 2023 draft.
