  1. Colts secondary won’t be able to come close to slowing down the Houston passing game now.
  2. Wish Ballard would make some calculated risks like Houston has. Unless he’s just not sold on Richardson like I said.
  3. Watching Houston load up around Stroud while he’s on a rookie QB deal while Ballard is not is telling to me. I don’t think Ballard is fully sold on Richardson the way the Houston GM is sold on Stroud.
  4. I would still sign a vet safety like Diggs or Simmons as we have so much youth back there to start opposite Blackmon. Then I’d go out and sign CB Ahkello Witherspoon and draft someone like Cam Hart in the 4th.
  5. Would much rather get Arizona’s 2025 1st over their 35th pick in that deal. Then at 27 get AD Mitchell.
  6. What a waste of a pick if they take a safety high. This safety class is nothing special.
  7. Why in the world is Ballard waiting to sign a safety, most notably Blackmon? He’s not gonna be any cheaper if they wait another few weeks so just sign him already to guarantee we have a starting caliber player back there before someone else does. Makes no sense to me.
  8. Hoping it’s one of Odunze, Bowers, Nabers, or MHJ. The later 2 are obviously the least likely to be there. If all are gone trade down a few times, accumulate extra high picks, and get AD Mitchell.
  9. Couldn’t agree more. And that’s the way I want it. If one of those stud offensive players isn’t there at 15, I would want to trade down multiple times and still land an AD Mitchell. As for corner or safety, I think the value is in rounds 3 and 4 to address those areas of need. I’d still rather get a veteran safety to go along with resigning Blackmon versus drafting yet again another prospect there.
  10. I am. I’m very much against corner or safety round 1 or 2. I absolutely hate drafting based off need especially when there will be better players available at other positions most likely. And I think there’s good value at corner in rounds 3 and 4.
  11. I truly hope they go LT with Alt at 5 just to screw over the Titans lol.
  12. AD Mitchell is such a good route running and crafty WR. Would love him in the mid 20s by trading down and hopefully acquiring multiple extra high picks.
  13. I definitely want one of those 3 WRs on the Colts when it comes to Thomas Jr, Mitchell, and Legette. They would make them more explosive which I hope is the goal this draft.
  14. Trading back a few times and still landing AD Mitchell I would be a fan of.
  15. It should be that way. I’d say even the same number of wins with a mostly healthy Richardson would also be a fireable offense as well. You should have a better team with a mostly healthy Richardson.
  16. Please Lord no more young corners that probably won’t even pan out. This team needs a proven guy at corner to help out the young corners. Indy needs explosion in the passing game and you can’t trust on Pierce as a #2 WR.
  17. Players don’t only factor the city they are going to. If that were the case why isn’t everyone signing with Miami or Tampa Bay?
  18. My only reasoning as to why he went for so cheap compensation is that KC was scared of his medicals with his knees and simply wanted to part with him. Why else would KC deal him away for 0 return in 2024 when they are trying for a 3peat?
  19. Again that would reflect on Ballard if there was a culture issue with the Colts but I have heard nothing to support there is a problem there, especially with Steichen as HC. And why would someone choose the Titans over the Colts? Titans are a worse team with a worse QB.
  20. It’s not a bad move for them considering it’s next years 3rd and they haven’t drafted well anyways so even if they miss on this trade they’re aren’t losing much. And they have the cap space, as we did, to pay him while their QB is on a rookie deal.
  21. I think the Colts need to make the playoffs, pending that Richardson stays healthy of course, for Ballard to keep his job. That would be progress and having the team continue to trend upward. Anything less than that would be a stagnant or declining team.
  22. Exactly. To not go with an offensive weapon for AR round 1 would be a big mistake if they purely go based off need and get the lesser prospect at corner or God forbid safety.
