  1. This win i think does so much more than puts us at 4-3 but it builds confidence in our young guys that we can win on the road. it shows we can run between the tackles. can't touch enough on the confidence aspect.

I agree 100%, this is the type of win that builds tremendous confidence in a young upcoming team, this team now believes, a win like today is huge, in what it will do for this team in the future, This team now knows that if they just keep fighting and keep it close, in the end they, can win the game. Tremendous confidence builder and a great win. This weeks game vs the Dolphins is huge as far as playoff implications. head to head games are a tie breaker. I hope we can keep the momentum and go back home an get a big win against the Dolphins. "GO COLTS"
  2. I Thought he played a veteran type game . His decision making (minus thi INT) was very vet like, ran when he needed to and threw away the ball when he needed to. His composure under the constant pressure was fantastic. he made plays on the run and with guys hanging all over him, it doesn't show up in the box scores but, he played a fantastic game, you just don't see rookie QBs play with his composure and leadership and he's doing it under constant pressure because of the weak O-line protection. Games like today go a long way in building leadership. This team believes if they get Luck the ball at the end , he will win the game. Its very rare for a team to believe in a rookie QB like this team believes in Luck.I don't care what the stats are this team believes, his leadership is off the charts. This kid is special. What an exciting time to be a Colts fan, he will only get better. "GO COLTS"

  3. There was 5or6 times Sunday that ballard tried to bounce it outside like Brown does and he just doesn't have the speed to do it, Brown would have made big gains out of those plays. This was the best game our O-line has played by far, had Brown been playing Sunday he would have had a huge game well over 100 yards. I like ballard and believe he will continue to produce but, I was more impressed with Carter than Ballard and would have liked to have seen him get the 20 carries.

  4. Yeah he played well today, you could tell that he has really been itching to get out there and make some plays. The defense as a whole was much improved against the run today and thats saying alot with all the new guys we had playing on the line.

  5. I thought davis played a really good game today, he's physical against the run and physical with the recievers, hope he can continue to get comfortable and play to the level of his talent. If he continues to improve and play like he did today he's definetly worth the trade. He just needs more time in this scheme with this team and will only keep getting better.

  6. Just glad to see the Colts have a decent rushing game for once. I don't think Ballard played any better than Carter just got more carries but, who I did think played better was the O-line, this was their best game of the year, hope they can continue to improve.

  7. I have been calling for Lefeged to start for a couple of weeks now and still would like to see him get some playing time but, I have to give credit wher it's due and Zibs played one heck of a game today. By far his best game as a Colt.

  8. I live in NC and have seen all of his games, he's just a soph. and is already one of the best all-purpose backs in the country. He's a little like Maurice Jones-Drew and a little like Darren Sproles, not as good as either at this point but, by his senoir year the whole country will no who he is. He's a good runner, reciever and blocker, makes the reads and picks up much bigger guys in pass protection. Great kick returner and gives his all on every play. Just a very good football player that most of the country has never heard about but, all of that will change by the time he's a senoir.

  9. If Carter can get 10-12 carries Sunday, he will show why he shoulb be our #2 back, if he gets his carries early he will have a big game. He's the kind of back that gets stronger as the game goes on and the defense starts to wear, thats why its important that he gets carries early so that he can get in a rythm. I expect him to play his way out of the doghouse Sunday. "GO COLTS"

  10. Mathis and Redding being out at the same time is huge for this defense. Mathis is the inspirational leader and Redding is the emotional leader. without these two there will be a "huge" drop off for this defense. They are the fire in this defense, the guys that raise the level of play of all the other guys, we still have Betha but, he has not been playing at his normal level. I hate to be the doom and gloom guy but, with Mathis and Redding out this defense has no heart, even more tham Freeny, this is the two players this defense has to have, without them I just can't see this defense playing at a high level, so I feel we are going to have to have a big game out of the offense this week if we hope to beat the Browns and their 1-5 but, I believe that is how important Mathis and Redding are to this defense. Lets hope we can establish some form of a running game (Carter) and Luck has his best game of the year. Hopefully we can get Mathis and Redding back next week.

  11. Iagree mjsimans Brown is our best back and all things considered I think he's playing as good as can be expected, his bouncing it to the outside has been our biggest run play this season and I do like Ballard but I feel like Carter gives us our best chance while Brown is out, I still believe Carter is our 2nd best back (nothing against Ballard) Carter has a unique skill set of more power and speed than Ballard. Before the fumbles started last season he looked real good, runs very hard and does not go down easy and can really move the pile and with this O-line that is what we need, if he gets his chances it will be Brown and Carter as our primary backs, not Brown and Ballard. I don't know if its because he was a Ploian draft choice or what but, the Colts were really high on this guy last year and his play was justifying that praise then, the fumbles started and he was a forgotten man but, he was not a fumble guy in college and he is like a lot of other guys, he just needs an opportunity to show what he can do. In the four carries he got Sunday he was dragging guys and moving the pile. he just needed more carries, if he doesn't get his chance while Brown is out I feel like the colts will just forget about him again, Carter like Shiplry and Lefeged will be starters somewhere in this league and I would hate to see that happen somewhere else.

  12. Really would like to see Lefeged get a shot at SS. He showed a lot of promise as a playmaker in his rookie year last year can't believe he's not getting any playing time this year at saftey. Give the guy a chance to build on what he started last season. We have nothing to lose by giving him a start. This is a position that we need to find out if were going have to go out and get a player next year. Lets see what Lefeged can do, we know Zibs is not the answer for next year so lets see what Lefeged can do. He has good size, speed and he's a hitter, his special teams play has warrented a chance to start. The only way we can know what he can do is to let him play."SO PLEASE START LEFEGED" I believe he will end up being a NFL starter and Ihope its with the Colts. "GO COLTS"

  13. I believe we will get a road win in the 2nd half of the season as we will be a much better team, young teams like the Colts are prone to improve at a better pace than older teams based on expierence alone. The colts will be the type of team that teams don't want want to play down the stretch, because of their youth, talent and nothing to lose, they will be the type of team that you should be able to beat on paper but, they will be very scary.

  14. The more wins we have the better the trade will look. Davis has loads of talent and if the coaching staff can get him to play anywhere near his talent level it's a good trade. I personally don't believe we can get a player of Davis talent level and of course exp level. he is only 24 years old. I can understand that some fans will feel cheated if the pick ends up being one of the top ten picks in the 2nd rd. there could be a O-lineman, D-lineman or WR that they feel can help this team and there could be but, I don't feel that there is another player that will be available that can help this team more than Davis. He fills a position of grat need and is capable of being a top 5-10 CB. So lets hope the Colts can win 7-10 games and Davis gets comfortable with the system and becomes that top 5-10 CB and this trade will look real good. Hoping for the best. "GO COLTS"

  15. Bruce Arians please start Shipley and Lefeged and give Carter more carries. I have been calling for Shipley and Lefeged to be starters. I believe Shipley has earned the chance to start by playing so well when called upon. The game Shipley played against the packers was much better (he really stood out) than ant thing Satele has done this season, much better. We need to know if he can play like this at a consistent level, not just for this season but, for the future, because I don't see Satele as the answer. I heard good things about Satele when we signed him but, I just have not seen it,We need to know if center is a need for the future, to go along with our QB. Give Shipley a chance and lets see if he is the answer, if he's not, we need to go get a center for next year.Satele is not it. Same thing with Zibs, he has been awful, always late arriving to the play, gets juke in th open field like nobody I've ever seen and no threat to force a turnover. Lefeged is more atheletic and has much better speed. He has been huge on special teams. He was a rookie last year and had his rookie moments but, I remember thinking this guy could end up being pretty good. He has a knack for turnovers and is a hitter, with speed. We know what Zibs can do and it hasn't been very good. Lets see if Lefeged can develop into a starting caliber player. I believe Lefeged will be a starting saftey in the NFL and I hope its with the Colts. He just needs to be given a chance. Like Shipley it benefits the Colts to find out if this guy is the saftey of the future or do we need to bring one in. Now is the time to see what this two guys can do, we have nothing to lose. I also would like to see Carter get more carries, the Colts were really high on this guy last year before the fumbles and he played good other than the fumbles. He did not have a fumble problem in college and if I remember right, he set some kind of school record for carries without a fumble. This guy has a rare size speed ratio 5'9" 238lbs with decent speed, he runs very hard and can move the pile.I'am still as high on this guy as I was last year and believe with more carries he will show what he can do.

  16. I love Anger but, he will not fix our run defense, Freeman has been very good in Angers absence, Anger will not be a huge upgrade, he will still be playing behind the same O-line. Conner sucked today but has been very good against the run before today, making plays behind the line, not tackling the runner after he has gained 3 o r4 yards. Today the D-line and linebackers stunk it up but, for the most part the D-line and NT particular have been the problem. Anger will not change that.

  17. I know Donald Brown is the whipping boy for a lot of Colts fans but, just as I expected we missed Browns speed, when the hole is not there and usually it's not, brown is very good at poping it outside because of his speed, unfotunately this has become our best running play and it was missed today.I no that I am in the minority as a supporter of Brown but, all things considered I think he has been pretty good this season, his pass blocking has greatly improved, he has ran very hard and his ability to pop it outside is an asset we have to have. unfortunately he will be out another couple of weeks, maybe he will be appreciated a little more now and can get healthy and return in two weeks. In his absence I would like to see more of Delone Carter, I no many are high on Ballard(Ilike Ballard too) but, without Brown I feel Carter gives us our best chance at a rushing attack. He is faster than Ballard and moore and runs with power. I thought he looked pretty good with the few carries he got today, people were as high on him last year as they are on Ballard this year (before the fumbles) and like I said I like Ballard too but, with his speed I think Carter gives us our best chance while Brown is out. Once Brown is back I would like to see Brown and Carter as our 1-2 backs 5'9" 238lbs this guy can do it all I just don't understand why everyone soured on him so quick(I know about the fumbles) but, he was not a fumbler in college he just needs to be given a chance.

  18. Satele was pushed into the backfield all day today. Shipley looked better last week, than Satele has at any time this season and Satele was pushed around all day again today. Start Shipley his performance last week earned him a chance to be the starter. When we signed Satele I heard some good thins about him, the biggest knock on him was inconsistency and he has definitley shown that to be true. Shipley played a very good game last week, looked like Saturday when he was still good, even Arians said he didn't care if Satele was back this week or not cause he felt Shipley played a solid game. Shipley should be the starter He's a good technician and stroner at the point of attack than Satele and he out hustles Satele by a long shot, he doesn't spend all day in his own teams backfield like Satele. Let the man play, this is a no brainer, its not even close. I know we spent decent money on Satele but, Shipley showed more in one game than Satele has all season.

  19. At least give Lefeged a chance to see what he can do. He was a rookie last year and showed he had a nose for the ball I think he had two interceptions and showed flashes at times. He's more atheletic than Zibs and can't do any worse. Zibs has had 3 or 4 years to show that he's a career backup Lefeged is a second year guy give him a chance to see what he can do , this defense needs someone who can create turnovers, in limited playing time last year as a rookie Lefeged showed that he could do that, give him a shot if he shows nothing, nothing lost, put Zibs back in. Zibs takes bad angles and is one of the worst open field tacklers in the NFL. On the play where Betha missed Green and then Zibs wiffed, Green was trying to get his balance and didn't even put a move on Zibs and he wiffed anyway, don't no what he wiffed at Green was just trying not to fall down but Zibs angle was so bad he wiffed. I agree Betha has not been playing to the level we are used to seeing out of him but, I don't worry so much about Betha he will get it worked out. Give Lefeged a shot.

  20. I like Anger alot but, I don't no that he can do any better against the run than Freeman and Conner have done. Before today both have looked pretty good, its the D-lineman more than the LBS. I think Chapman (if he is what we think he is) will make a much bigger difference in the rush defense than replacing Freeman or Conner.
