What other choice do we have?
We don’t have to lie to ourselves either. Hoyer sucks.

I can’t believe some of y’all really believe in Hoyer.

I see us winning by at least 10.
Our defense should be able to stymie whatever the Dolphins have on offense and their defense is bad. Overall they are a bad team. I see us running it down their throats and shutting them down on offense.

It's probably due to the reliance on the run game. Doyle is a better blocker, better at catching but significantly worse at RAC. Every single time he catches a ball you know he's going to get cut down. Ebron has all the moves but inconsistent hands. It makes sense, even tho I wish Ebron would get more targets.

ugh he was balling too

I'm not a fan of anyone at QB other than Brissett. I'd sacrifice a Patriots fan to bring Luck back from the nether realm, but that's beyond me.

Leonard hit him in the head. Honestly I was shocked he didn’t get flagged the play before that for hitting the Steelers QB while he was sliding. Still you are 100% right about the second call. I’d say it was the worst call I had seen all year if they hadn’t flagged our linebacker for tackling later in the game.
Leonard did not hit him in the head, are you kidding me? Are you gonna tell me that Tell touched the WR? That Leonard hit JuJu out of bounds? That the Steelers didn’t hit our punter? That was a weak call in a game filled with them....the refs made some bad calls on both sides but they were straight up imagining penalties against the Colts.

Whatever's not point I was trying to make .
That’s because you can’t make that point if it didn’t work...it’s okay we all make mistakes son.

Not the point son ,he's a super bowl winning coach .
...that lost the Super Bowl because he decided to throw on the goal line.
sometimes the opinions of this board makes me feel as if I’m in the twilight zone...

No he is not. He is just not a great starter. Most back ups are not great starters. He's a good back up QB though. I'd take him over a few starters for other teams (Darnold, Dalton, Trubisky, Mariota and maybe Winston and Mayfield).

No one said he had a perfect game, but for a back up thrust into action on the spot, he did pretty good.
That doesn’t mean he isn’t a terrible QB, because he is.

Nope.
He played very well for a backup thrust into a game during it. Just remember Painter and Sorgi.

Hoyer is garbage.
Yes he made some vet throws, but that pick six was really really bad. I wouldn't trust Hoyer in a big time game, I doubt anyone who has watched Hoyer play throughout his career would. With that being said, he should be okay against the Dolphins. He may struggle against everyone else.

We should win this game by at least two touchdowns. This Steelers team isn’t good and Mason Rudolph is trash.
If we can’t beat this teams * then I think we may struggle when we inevitable play a big good team.
And this is exactly what I feared. We couldn’t even beat this trash Steelers team. If we make the playoffs, I don’t see us going far.

Those refs were terrible.
However. We still could’ve won had we made those XPs and that FG

I can’t believe they called that unnecessary roughness
these refs are BAD

What the # did we do to you football Gods?
We are paying for the sins of the Irsays

We really need our pass rush to get home. I’m not worried about the deep ball, but we have to defend the run and tackle the check downs.

The Jaguars actually scare me worse than the Texans.
It the Jags win, and we lose. They are right at the top of the division with us... as we haven't even played them yet. Not sure who to root for lol
Ehhh the Jags don’t have Ramsey anymore so I’m not worried about them. The Texans have a generational talent at QB but the rest of the team is meh...
the only team in the way of the Colts winning the division is themselves imo

Because Ballard does not believe in giving up draft picks. After a while, he will realize you have to give up some to get something valuable.
True. We do have weapons in Ebron, Campbell, Cain, Hines and Pascal. I just think we needed an extra WR because none of them are exactly lighting the league up...and now Hilton is hurt. Either they step their game up or Ballard makes himself look foolish for once.
-
I don’t know why we didn’t trade for Emmanuel Sanders
-
I still think we beat the Steelers without Hilton. They aren’t a good team without Ben.
