Luck and Ebron quit for different reasons:
Luck; because he wanted to protect his kidneys.
Ebron; because he wanted to protect his “brand”.

I feel bad for those Colts fans flying down to attend the game.
Bought the tickets awhile ago. I just hope they make it interesting.

What a way to go out: Last kick blocked and 1 short of 600.

I’ve seen it all season long. We’ll have the lead, come out passing on 1st and 2nd second down trying to get cute, go into 3rd and long and punt it away. It’s getting pretty old at this point. We’ve got one of the better run blocking lines in the league. Why wouldn’t you at least get the clock running and give the defense a rest?! Especially when we’re struggling to stop the opposition!!!
I thought they’d run it twice at 3rd and 2 but maybe they saw something they could exploit but didn’t execute.

I’m going to stay optimistic until the fat lady sings. Defense rises to occasion and the Colts keep Winston & Co on the sideline with a big game from Mack, Hines, Doyle and Pascal. Maybe a play or two from Cox.
I have tickets to the Saints game and I’m hoping they’re still alive.

Thank you. All this "pack it in for draft position" talk drives me crazy. It's so soft (in many cases from the same people complaining about player availability due to injury) .
There are still 5 games left, play out the string with the guys you have, go all out, finish strong even if you lose. You leave with your head up and relish the pain.
In the gym my last thought, no matter how pedestrian that days workout has been, is always "finish strong'. Past is past, but set a tone, present and future. You dont just tap out and hope next time a new dude shows up and makes it easier.
When you're beat to s#*t you find a little more. Thats where the 1% better is, that's where the "character" is. Both things this franchise and fanbase claim to value, and most of what I've been seeing lately (after a 3 point loss on the road to the division leader) is "shut it down"? I cant agree.
Once you tank, in the back of your mind, you're always looking for an out. You're always willing to take a dive. I dont want that for my Colts.
I’m with you there.
Funny, even though the “season is over”, the Colts aren’t cleaning out their lockers. Hmmm, must not have gotten the message.
The Colts are 6-6. Oakland, Tenn and Pittsburgh have some tough games ahead of them. Why would a fan give up before they’re eliminated?

Don’t forget Reese Fountain!

It doesn’t look good based on how they’ve played at times but why give up before you absolutely have to?
I’m hoping for a sweep of Tenn by Houston and losses by Pittsburgh and Oakland.
Of course, the Colts would have to win out but I will hold on to hope until they are mathematically eliminated.

Is my math wrong or does 6+4 = 10?

You don’t shut it down until you’re officially out of the race. You keep fighting until someone stops you from fighting. We’re still in this, with or without TY

A lot of broken ankles this year: Wilkins and 9,325 Colts fans jumping off the bandwagon. Geees!!!- 3

How about the Patriots. Their whole first string could miss the plane for the entire year and still get home field advantage throughout the playoffs. Is that good coaching or lots of Lobster bisk?
Could be their schedule...just saying

If Funchess gets on the field,,he can give you a lot of what Ebron gives you, with less drops.
Funchess + Cox > Ebron

Time to take our chances with him couldn't be any worst.
I’d rather see him then Hoyer. I just hope they give him a chance.

Lets sign Antonio Brown. Didn't he and T.Y grow up together?
Only half true: Brown has yet to grow up!

I’m sticking with my 10-6 and winning the Division.
It’s not like the Colts have never had a deep passing game with Brissett. The concerns? Can Hilton, Campbell and Funchess make a difference? Can they get healthy and develop timing with Brissett?
We’ll see. If they can, the Colts can make the playoffs. A lot is going to depend Reich’s play calling as well.

Prior to the game...I read that this game would have a 43% swing for IND and a 38% swing for HOU. It was about as must-win as a Week 12 game can be. But who knows what will happen. I just hate that the Colts don't have any tiebreakers over the teams still in the hunt...except for KC.
I ran through this and if the Texans lose to NE and at Tenn and the Colts lose only to NO, Colts will be Division winner.
Both will be 10-6 and the Colts will be 5-1 in the Division while the Texans will be 4-2.
What gets lost after a game like last night, are the great plays we have made in the passing game this year.

Besides at least two hits to the head that weren’t called.
Oh well, they’re still not out of the playoff picture. Houston has got some pretty tough games ahead and the Colts can get healthy. -
Got to wonder if they’re just being cautious or if TY’s calf is sore.
Love to see them open it up too but however they get a W is fine by me.
Defense is playing well (save the fiasco on the TD to Hopkins).Vinny hit that last on solid.
Go Colts!!!

Much depends on Wilkins’ health. But maybe “starting” is not as much of a big deal as in past games. I can see them utilizing Hines a lot because of the dual threat.
I also wouldn’t be surprised if the Colts attacked the secondary, given the Texans injuries.

They are having some fun out there. Charlie Cassardy said “stay away from 23”, he’s their best corner.

I'm amazed they got him up. Big Q isnt just a nickname
The only thing that would top it is KC doing it with Andy Reid. Now that would be funny!

Most of us HATE injustice. We saw it with the OJ situation: part of the country wanted justice for all of the times police overstepped their boundaries and innocent people got arrested or convicted. The other part of our population wanted a murderer convicted for killing two people. Both sides wanted justice.
Same is true for police brutality and social injustice. To me, these are individual acts done by individuals and protests against the flag are misguided. It’s saying this country stands for injustice and inequality and nothing can be further from the truth. We live in a country that provides the opportunity for all people to do well: Athletes, Doctors, Businessmen, Pastors, Actors and Musicians have reaped the benefits of living in this great country.
I have no problem with anyone protesting individual acts of racism or injustice. But to protest the flag is misguided.

How the Colts can still win the division

The Saints are banged up on defense. The ONLY way the Colts can beat them is to keep Brees on the sideline by running the &$*% ball and playing great defense, like they did in KC.
The Colts still have a shot at the wildcard too, if Pittsburg losses 3, Tenn loses 2 and Oakland loses a game.
But they’d still have to win 3.
