As a fan since 1984 as I was just 13 years old then (time flies), this will be the 39th season I have followed this team. I have seen the bad, the good, and the great over 38 seasons. Going into the season, this is the most optimistic I have been and making a deep playoff run since 2014 when Luck was great. If we can turn this into a 2006 SB winning run when we had Peyton that would be the cherry on top. The additions of Matt Ryan, Yannick, and Gilmore were solid. Drafting Pierce and Cross was much needed as well. Hopefully Leonard gets back to 100%, Taylor plays like the MVP he is, and we stay healthy. Pittman and Hines both should have career years. Congrats to Big Q on his contract too. Best Guard in the game. I love this time of year, let's do this! Final predictions. Colts 27 Texans 17. Colts win 11 games and the AFC South. Colts make the AFC Title game.

I think what a lot of people in here don't take into place is, we are in win now mode. If you ask anyone in here would you rather have Matt Ryan or Trey Lance just for 2022, they would say Matt. Also, I am like you as in how do some know that Ballard hasn't tried??

I would play Matt Ryan 1 series and call it a day. In 2 weeks the real season starts and we need to be 100% healthy across the board. I wish I had an update on how Maniac is doing, I don't. Nobody is saying anything, if he misses any length of time, Matt needs to play like 2016 Matt for a few games for us to succeed - I think he can. Taylor is going to get his 80-90 yards a game with a few 100 yard games in there. Point is the offense may have to win us a few games early on if Maniac is out.

Yeah we had so many blunders that game that it was comical. Missed FG's, getting torched on 8-10 yard passes, etc.. What is funny is, Wentz actually did play good that game.

Yeah that was the game we blew a 25-9 lead where Lamar went off in the 4th Qtr.

I am hoping I can put this 2022 season in with the 1995, 2003, 2006, 2009, and 2014 teams as making the Final 4. That is my expectation for 2022. If we at least make it that far it will be in the category of a very good season. Of course our great season was in 2006 when we won the SB, 2009 we won the AFC so that was borderline great.

A blast from the past. That hit Peyton took almost took his head off. We were 6-0 at the time and they tried to ruin my 2006 season. We were on a mission that year though after losing in 2005. Damn, a thread from 2011

Last years schedule was a farce. The 1st 5 games were ridiculous for any team to come out of that better than 2-3. We still did and was 9-6 at one point but ran out of gas.

You guys should go all 7 rounds, makes you do this , isn't Mr Irrelevant the best part of a fantasy draft?

I think if Luck had Ballard and Reich from the beginning, Luck would've had a Hall of Fame career and won a SB by now. JMO. He still may have retired early but would've played at least 10 years.
