  1. I'd love to call this season what it is: our 4th championship defense.

And the fact that the ONLY thing you guys can figure out to say in response is 'cheaters' is very telling...it makes you look pathetic and butt hurt and you sound like a bunch of 5th graders.

Grow up and let it go. Do you even know what Brady has done since halftime of the AFCCG?

    10 quarters

    74 for 96 (77.1%)

    747 yards

    10 TDs 2 INTs

    124.7 passer rating

It's time to take a step back and look at the facts. When playing with the most tightly regulated footballs in NFL history and with more eyes and scrutiny and criticism on them than this league has ever seen, the team who apparently has only won because of cheating has destroyed your beloved Colts (again), shredded the leagues top defense for the title, and took a big dump on another Super Bowl contender to open the season.

    Give. It. Up.

Doesn't matter.  Pats are cheaters that cheated.

See how this works?  You are going to spend eternity defending BB and Brady from cheating allegations.  Just get used to it.

  2. Ah, yes. The 'what are you even doing here' post. I wondered when it would make an appearance!

Pretty much the standard 'I don't really have anything to add, but I'm a Colts fan and it's my nature to whine about something' response.

It's funny to me.  I don't see any Jaguars, Raiders, or Browns fans in these forums having to defend why they are so bad.  But the amount of Patriots fans that feel the need to go to other teams' forums and defend how GOOD they are is astonishing...

  3. Are you guys for real?

There is zero percent chance that the Patriots would do something like that during a nationally broadcasted game where all eyes would be skeptically on them at all times. Zero.

Are you for real?  They cheated during the AFCCG!!!  They cheated for their first SB!!!  There is like 100% chance they will cheat ALL THE TIME!!!

There is zero percent chance that it makes sense that you come into a Colts forum to defend the Cheaters.  Zero.

Guys, this is silly...we have officially crossed over into the 'I need to make excuses for how the Patriots could have possibly won' territory.

And please, it obviously means a lot because you guys can't stop talking about it. Anyone who honestly believes that the Patriots effed with the headsets last night needs to get their head checked. It wouldn't make any sense and even the dumbest person in the world wouldn't risk something like that after what they just went through this offseason.

You all may have had reason to complain before...but unfortunately now it's all just starting to sound like sour grapes.

Please, it's obvious you can't stay away from a COLTS forum to talk about the Cheaters.  You should get your head checked.

  4. On this day in particular, I wanted to, at risk of blasphemy, thank the 2002 Patriots. That team helped pull together a nation that had, at the beginning of the season, experienced the worst national tragedy probably ever. Since the Colts were out of the playoffs, I remember cheering (yes, believe it or not) for the then underdog Pats to take down the Rams...and they did. That Super Bowl was special. Remember U2 at half time, the list of victims scrolling behind him, opening his jacket to reveal an American flag pattern during "Where The Streets Have No Name?" Still gives me chills. As much as our teams are rivals now....that Pats season gave us something to rally around. At least me anyway. And for that I thank the Pats.

Now....let's kick their butts October 18th!!!

I was in the same boat.  I was rooting for the underdog Patriots.  First and only time I have been happy for them because it felt like they represented America.

I might still like the Pats if they hadn't used the Colts as a stepping stone to multiple SBs, and the fact that they probably cheated to obtain all of their sucess makes it even worse.

  5. I'd argue that the Colts v Houston rivalry is nothing compared to the one v the Pats. If Reggie had gone to Houston I wouldn't have cared. Our division doesn't really have some strong rivalry within like an AFC North or NFC North .

Texans fans might argue that we are to them, what the pats are to us.  Them losing AJ to us might feel the same as us losing Reggie to the pats.  You'd have to ask a Texans fan.

But since the Colts are at both ends of this spectrum, I think the fans should have a little perspective and let Reggie go make some more money and try to get another ring.  That's all AJ is doing.  That's all Rice did.

Reggie doesn't deserve any hate from a single Colts fan.

  6. Message to pats fans:  The other 90% of football fans understand what the "official line" is now.  Brady is innocent, the Super Bowl is legit, and the pats did nothing wrong.  We don't like it, but we get it.

However, the other 90% of football fans KNOW that Belichick and Brady are cheaters.  You can point out the lack of evidence.  You can quote as many judges as you want.  You can deflect and say the other 31 teams cheat too.  You can say whatever you want, but the other 90% of football fans think you are cheaters, and no matter what you say, that is our opinion.

Tough pill to swallow, I know, but you have your head coach and star quarterback to thank for that.

  7. Brady was only talking about non cooperation and not deflating footballs, big difference.

It is one thing to "admit" you deflated footballs and another thing to "admit" that you did not cooperate as well as you could have.

Since the "non-cooperation" has to do with cheating, there's really not that big of a difference.  Why would you "not cooperate" with clearing your own name?  "Not cooperating" is for people that are guilty and trying to get away with it.

  8. I like this.  I hope it reignites the Colts-Titans rivalry.

We have a good history.  Manning vs McNair.  I remember McNair and Vince Young taking off and picking up first downs with their legs, and I think we're going to see a lot of that out of Mariota.

I can already see myself yelling at the TV to "TACKLE HIM!!!! NOOOO!!!! QB SPY, CHUCK!!! QB SPY!!!!"

  9. Bottom Line: Brady avoids punishment, but his legacy is forever tainted.  He admitted he would have been OK with a 1-game suspension, so he admits he is guilty.  Maybe only 1-game guilty, and not 4-game guilty, but still guilty.

So everyones' views are vindicated, pats fans can still claim innocence and superiority, while everyone else can point out that he knew he cheated but got away with it.

  10. Who is Reggie Wayne you speak of? Doesn't he play for Patriots ?

the one where he didn't sign with the pats

Come on guys, if you think he shouldn't have signed with the pats, then I guess you think we should let Andre Johnson go since he signed with a huge rival... ?  Reggie did the same thing Andre did, so don't be hypocritical and cheer Andre while wishing ill upon Reggie.

Cheer for the Colts and against the Pats, but don't be petty.

  11. Jeez, there are so many!

His Super Bowl touchdown catch, runs into the end zone and does his fist pump dance.

The catch against the Pats in the 2006 AFCCG where the ball flew up in the air and he caught it again.

Stretching out over the goal line with his orange gloves in 2012 against the Packers

His TD catch in the 4th and 2 game against the Pats to win it all

    This.

04 Playoffs vs Denver when he had 10 rec 221 yds 2 TDs & 06 vs Denver when he had 10 rec 138 yds 3 TDs.

    This.

And the way he showed up to camp the last few years.  Race car, helicopter, dump truck.  Honored the military by showing up with the Guard, honored Edge by showing up in a Cardinals Edge jersey.

Just a classy guy.  Glad he was our guy for so long, lot of good years.  Lots of good memories.

  12. Yes indeed I'm mean DE-cleated but no dirty garbage.  I mean more like Vontae in the Cincinnati game last year.  What made you ask me something like that?

That's the only time I've heard the term "cleated", was when Haynesworth stomped on that guys' head when he didn't have his helmet on, and then when Suh did it twice.  Just had to make sure that's not what you meant by "cleated".

  13. On the positive side, what makes me yell is when the other team player gets "cleated" by one of ours.  Oh yeah!

Do you mean DE-cleated, like knocked off their feet being blind-side blocked?  It sounds like you enjoy seeing our players pulling a Suh or a Haynesworth and stomping on the opposing players with their cleats...

  14. After long deliberations, Tom Brady and I have come to a settlement.

As you all know, Tom wanted no suspension, no fines, no nothing, because he did nothing wrong.  While I wanted Tom to have to come to my house once a week and dress up like a baby for the weekly picture on my new website www.TomBradyisabigcrybaby.com

It was going to be awesome.  One week, there was going to be a spilled glass of milk with Tom literally crying over spilled milk.  There was going to be another one where he was crying because Gisele is "breastfeeding" me and he is super jealous about it.  There was going to be a calender and everything.

We have met halfway, and Tom Brady is going to come to my house once a week and let me throw a carton of rotten eggs at him, one egg at a time, in the garage.

Seriously though, I think both sides should agree on 1-2 games with sealed records and get it over with so we can all get over it.

  15. I will be watching them all because I want:

Dorsett to be the next Antonio Brown/TY

Smith to be the next Vontae Davis

Anderson to be the next JJ Watt/Justin Smith

Geathers to be the next Sean Taylor/Kam Chancellor

Parry to be the next Kyle Williams

Robinson to be the next Beast Mode/MJD

Herrera to be the next Ray Lewis/Pat Willis

and Denzelle Good to be the next Jason Peters

Unrealistic, I know... If hopes and dreams put food on the table, I'd never starve!!!
