Well at this point I say keep Luck off the field and end this season. With this team we are going nowhere... No need to risk the health of our franchise QB

Just now, LJpalmbeacher said:
I'm not. You really can't expect Hass to keep pace with Bortels. Especially with Pagano`s weak D.
Can't expect a dominant D if you don't invest in one except some washed up veterans via free agency...
-
I hope this loss is the final nail in Grigsons & Paganos coffin!
-
I hope Grigson is gone after this season. Grigson made some good decisions but also some bad ones. He couldn't fix the Offensive Line and Pass Rush and we have some holes on other positions as well.
-
Even with our startes we have an average OL at best. I really hope they will fix it next season because we don't have much beside Castonzo and Mewhort and we don't have any quality depth.
-
LOL, our linebackers are pathetic.
but we have great receivers! #bpa
-
yeah who's been on the field more the defense or offense lol that's kinda an obvious answer
yeah right. tired out... I think it has more to do with lack of talent. but people still think this is a monster...
-
It feels like same old same old. D will be tired out by the inability of the O to stay on the field.
tired out after jus one quarter?
-
The inability to understand why BPA is the best long game strategy is getting about as old... As a Colts ILB.
Get over it.
I disagree BPA isn't the best long game strategy. It's actually pretty dumb if you end up with three consecutive WR in round one in the draft because they are the BPA and you have a lot of holes at other positions you won't go anywhere. Best strategy is still best player available at a position of need until you get the chance to draft a guy who is really that special that you can't miss on him.

Uh.
It happened on a scramble.
How is that the line's fault?
well he is one of the most hit QB for four years now. this year he suffered a shoulder injury, a rip injury and now a kidney injury. now people still think the OL is doing a good job and just can't be responsibly for his injuries. it's just bad luck or lucks fault. i do think the horrible offensive line play over the last years is one big reason why Lucks health is such a great issue this year. At some point your body just can't take it anymore. Colts are just doing a lousy job protecting their franchise quaterback.
-
shoulder, rips, kidneys... just too many hits over the last years if you ask me and now his body pays the price for it
-
i can see a future pro bowler...
-
He really wasn't playing very well, He missed multiple line calls...He is also sitting on the bench in Arizona
Gavin I really respect you and it was always a pleasure to read your opinion but sometimes you sound like a Grigson fanboy. While Shipley wasn't a hall of famer, he was better than Harrison and Holmes at this time.
Don't get me wrong I'm not a Grigson hater I just think he is not as good as some believe he is. He made some good decisions but also some bad ones. With so many reports confirming that he has way too much control that's just not a good sign. And you won't get an official statement from the Colts that will confirm some very unpleasant facts...

In my eyes Luck is struggling because:
- of a horrible Offensive Line
- injuries because of that horrible OL. Luck is one of the most hit QB in the last three years can't ignore or deny that our OL is probably a huge reason why he is struggling right now
- dumb Play calling by an OC that is not ready for the NFL. sorry Pep!
- Colts repeating their mistakes of the past. all on the shoulders of their QB and very few other playmakers/leaders so too much pressure on Luck
- Luck himself by forcing things, making questionable decisions again and again
How can we solve it? Seriously I think we have to clean the house. That means goodbye to Grigson and Hamilton. If it is true that Grigson runs the show and Pagano can't make any
decisions I'm willing to give him one more Chance otherwise he should go...
-
Don't have time to read right now. But this team has the talent to win a Superbowl. They have the talent to have been 7-0 right now. That is Grigson's job. The player's and coaches jobs are to put it together and win. That is the part of the deal not being held up currently.
I disagree, this is a team that lacks talent especially on Defense. I don't know why most people are fooling them self by constantly claiming that this is a Super Bowl talented team. They are simply not. We have a great QB without a doubt and a great receiving group. Gore is good but not much talent behind him. Our TE have talent but aren't used very much. Allen is injured from time to time and Fleeners production isn't as good as it could be. And the Offensive Line? It's a mess! On Defense Parry and Anderson are decent for rookies but we only have two playmakers with Vontae Davis and an aging 36 yr old safety in Mike Adams...
-
As one of the most hit QB for three consecutive years it was only a question of time...
-
Wow, lets turn this thread into another bash Grigson thread.
I don't see where I bashed Grigson with my comment about a diamond in the rough and with a lots of love for Grigson...
-
another diamond in the rough you gotta love Grigson ;-)
-
Wasn't there a rumour about Pagano can't make any personnel changes regarding his coaching staff. He probably wanted to get rid of Pep?
-
a dysfunction in your organization will affect the performance of your team sooner or later. and hats what happening with the colts right now.
-
I think it is the organizational structure! I actually believe the rumours that there is a deep rift in the organization and if it is true that as HC you can't change anything and the GM has to much power that this a major reason why the Colts are a mess right now.
-
Kravitz pretends to be a "working class hero". He will always blame management.
That doesn't mean Grigs isn't a problem....just consider the source.
Grigson is a huge problem. And if it is true that Pagano can't do anything because the GM has way too much power than you have to take that in your consideration. At this point the only way to solve this mess is to clean the house and that means fire Grigson, Pagano and Pep. I can't blame Manusky because he is not getting much talent material to work so far.
-
at this point i think we would be a one and done team.
-
what really makes me angry is the simple fact that those sloppy starts are an issue since three years and they got worse from year to year. so they know about it and still couldn't fix it.
Colts not optimistic about Andrew Luck this week

This team isn't going anywhere this year. Even with Luck. Let him heal. It would be stupid to hurry him for a one and done season and risk his long term health in this dysfunctional team.
