Colin Cowherd had his way too early playoff team prediction. He predicts the Colts wins their division and thinks AR getting injured and sitting to learn will be a benefit...NOT A SETBACK. He also likes Shane as a favorite to win coach of the year. Just one mans opinion I know.

Cowherd is not a good person to follow.

Please ..no more 2 to 3 years away nonsense.

The Colts are in a good position capwise and draft position wise.

JT,the online, the dline and many others are in their prime.

It's time to spend , draft wisely and go for it ....NOW.

AR has shown he can be as talented as any QB in the league and I think playing ,then sitting and watching will benefit him. He's as good as any QB in the division and with a couple key additions, the roster is ready to win ..NOW. Not in 2 or 3 years.

Ballard job depends on their performance ..THIS YEAR.

    To the bolded:

    When has he shown that?

I have high hopes for AR but he may faulty and flop.

Hey, don't include Selena Gomez in this, she rocks and is cuteHappy Eddie Murphy GIF by Laff. Had Kelce bumped a REF, he would been ejected but I don't think Andy was in any danger. It was a heated moment between a great player and great coach. He should not have touched him; we agree there but crap happens. If I was married to someone and she slapped me during an argument, I wouldn't like it but I would get over it, move on. and see how the next day went.

yep, If Andy didn't mind, I assume it was just a heated moment that went a bit too far.  They are good friends and crap happens.

I've got to go back to the social media part to explain why I feel that way.

Ftr Chiefs fans are really hostile towards the Colts online, up there with the Titans and even worse than the Jaguars and maybe Texans.  They really have it out for us.

I dont have to follow this stuff for sure but it motives me to care about the sport.

Titans probably send the most hate our way and the Cheifs are up there.  Jags and Texans are inconsistent

I guess I never browse those sites or apps.

What I dont like is their fans, media coverage and now domination of social media.  I could just not tune into that stuff but those things used to motive me to watch and care about the sport.  If I tune it all out then my interest in the whole thing goes down.

They still are not to the Cowboys level though.  I don't mind a good team winning and creating their own dynasty getting "deserved" attention as much as an average team like the Cowboys.  They are easy to hate.

It is VERY HARD to be a dynasty in the salary cap era. Definitely easier to stockpile talent as a famous franchise pre-salary cap, IMO. That is what makes the Patriots and Chiefs accomplishments stand out.

I wonder what would have happened if Elway didn't retire. The Broncos (I heard they evaded the salary cap by some shady means, based on stories) had won back-to-back and were the first one to do so in the salary cap era. If Elway had continued for 2 more years, they may have been a dynasty two, possibly winning a 3rd?? We will never know.

Maybe Elway would have lost another 3.

That was the strangest part for me. I took a good friend and his dad that night. My friend was home on military leave after deployment, and neither of them followed the league much, but were definitely interested. We sat and talked about the prospect of the season, and I was especially excited after the run in 2018. Watching him throw and the way he was engaged on the sideline... it was a total blindside to have that ping on my phone. I'll never forget the strangeness of that feeling.

Same for me.  I totally understand the booing but it wasn't too bad.  Many were cheering him.   I just sat there.

Whelp did the rounds on social media and people are definitely saying this now, lots of them.

Peyton isnt even being mentioned much, just that Mahomes is only behind Brady now.

This is why I root against the chiefs, its all we are going to hear about for a good while now.  Maybe years to come.

I root for the chiefs.  I've always liked KC.  I like Andy Reid.  I like Mahomes.  I'm sure Brady roots against the Chiefs and Mahomes.

Yeah... One game, sure. But 3 games is more than a pattern. Last night, especially a fourth quarter comeback drive to send it to overtime, and then an overtime game-winning drive speaks VOLUMES. The plays he made, especially the fourth down run with the game on the line, was cold-blooded. Pat Mahomes is more than special, and it's blatantly obvious... except to those who think the game is rigged.

I think that theory was debunked when 2 different plays should have been reviewed by the crew upstairs when at least 1 would have been a first down and the other would have been closer.

Anyone can be better in 1 game, but Peyton was the best for 16 games 5 times. SB MVP doesn't mean didly, because anyone on a fluke can have 1 great game, see Doug Williams in 1987.

To be fair, Getting a Superbowl MVP is not a fluke.  Mahomes beat the Dolphins, Bills, Ravens and 49rs to win his 3rd Superbowl MVP.  Also, to get to the post season means he had good regular seasons too.

I predict the same with Mahomes. Mahomes - only 2 QBs to have beaten him in the playoffs, are Brady and Burrow. Next year, Mahomes loses to Burrow in the playoffs who spoils his 3 peat attempt.

Mahomes had the toughest route ever to get to and win the Superbowl.   I trust he will take care of the Bengles or won't face them next season.

I really thought he was going to do it end of regulation. When they settled for the fieldgoal in overtime, I said “uh oh.”

It was the correct call to make at the time.

The Niners didn’t lose to an inferior team. They lost to a team that has now played in the last four Super Bowls winning three of them.  The Chiefs have the best QB in football who is halfway to a 1st ballot Hall of Fame career plus a future Hall of Fame head coach.

I think fans and media are way, way too quick to assign blame.   It was a good game.   Sorry one had to lose.  But if the 49ers kicker makes the extra point, we might be having a different conversation.

Just in this years playoffs, the Chiefs beat the Dolphins, Bills, Ravens and 49rs.

  14. Those who think the NFL planned on making KC win didn't see the 2 plays where a review would have given them a first down on one play and maybe a first on another but it was up to an upstairs review and they were never done.
