  1. Played great against two bad teams. Played good against two good teams (Texans, Ravens). C+ in the first two weeks, and that may be a low grade considering those offenses.

Important thing is they seem to be getting better, right?

I think the cumulitive grade for the first two weeks is about right. I personally was surprised by how well we played against a good Eagles team. We held Shady. I thought giving up such few points to that team was pretty decent. 7 of which I think came from a very short field. (my memory may be wrong on that)

  2. Hopefully, Bjorn continues to grow. 3 sacks in the last two games is promising. Manusky has done a good job. Our D-line has done well, and Walden is making some plays. Much better than the first two weeks of the season. I know the quality of our opponents has something to do with it, but hopefully, the Monster is gaining confidence.

  3. I don't really hate any of them. I guess I like the Titans the least. I didn't care for Jeff Fisher, Cortland Finnergan, Albert Haynesworth, Chris Johnson. Now, the only player they have that I don't like is Bernard Pollard. I actually pull for the Texans when they aren't playing the Colts. I respect their fanbase and most of their players. Andre Johnson and JJ Watt are great on and off the field. I'd love for them to actually give us a run, not beat us, but a run. I want our division to be competitive.

  4. I'm of the opinion that the only way we are getting true help rushing the passer is to make a trade for someone. If not that, I don't see us getting a practice squad guy. We would have to carry him on the active roster, and it's just not worth it in my opinion. Of course, I don't claim to be a guru. I just don't want us to waste the season when really, a good pass rusher would make our entire defense sooooo much better.

  5. I think we should do some motion out of it. Set up like that, then send Coby out wide. Just to add a wrinkle, and to give the defense something else to prepare for. If they see a power formation and send a defense to guard the run, we could make them really second guess themselves.

  6. That is a good stat.  Reality is though, against a rookie QB playing in his first NFL game they gave up 223 yards and 2 TDs in a half.  The pass defense still has some work to do.

I think that stems more from the lack of pass rushing we have. If you give receivers all day to run and qbs all day to find them, that'll happen.

  7. Personally, I think to answer the question, you have to look at the path that led them here. Knowing what you know about both quarterbacks, and the team that the Colts had in 2012, who would you have taken on April 26, 2012?

With all the chips on the table, I'm taking Luck every day of the week. That's not to discredit Wilson. He is a GREAT qb. That drive yesterday was beautiful. I just think Luck is capable of doing more with less.

  8. Fantasy is the reason the NFL won't adopt the NCAA OT rule. Well probably. I actually have no idea. But I prefer those rules as well.

Just my opinion, I think it would be the opposite. I think they would change the touchdown points for overtime, but it would be an interesting wrinkle.

  9. They tried to resign him? They gave him one offer he said no and that was the end of that. If they really wanted him they would have made it work $ wise. They relized they were better off withouthim. Anybody who watched Luck at Stanford saw he was the better qb. Plus like now he had to overcome pep's stupidity as a OC RG3 played in the garbag BIG12 where Luck was playing in the Pac12 which is much stronger. Who has seattle signed that were other teams cast offs on the D side of the ball especially in the secondary? what about D'Qwell Jackson ? Grigson signed him and the guy has gotten beat both games like he stole something was that one of his " good additions"? How bout signing 35 year old Mike Adams to start at S another good addition?

No GM gets it right 100% of the time. When it comes to Toler, the Cards did offer him a contract. That counts for something. Sometimes, the money doesn't work. The seahawks have gone after other teams castoffs. Marshawn Lynch was essentially that in Buffalo, thus he was traded. All teams are searching for talent. The schemes that teams use can make marginal players seem really good.

  10. As far as I know, he is.

His responsibility is to cooperate in preparing the playbook and stuff like that, he doesn't have 'classic' coaching work to do. I guess he is in the booth during the games.

It would be good if someone could disclose his role a little more accurate!

I don't know if you're familiar with the Office. If so, think Dwight Schrute to Michael Scott. He's the Assistant TO the Head Coach

  11. The line did look good. I hate the late night games, too. Being the only flamboyant Colts fan at my school after a loss kind of stinks. I'll take it, though. I think we still have a great shot to do big things this year.
