I think Antonio is still single handedly making sure there will always be "another Cromartie" available if you catch my drift. Up to 14 little Cromarties now.

Yep, 3 kids POST vasectomy surgery....definitely the strongest swimmers in the league.

There are several corners in the 27-28 year old range on the market. We haven't added any vets in the secondary, meanwhile, we're preaching competition and how important it is to live it. And I agree and like that approach, it just seems like we're not taking that approach at corner, specifically.

And I'm not complaining about the LBs, but at a certain point, you have to just roll with what you have and see what happens. There's a discrepancy between how they're adding vets for competition across the roster, and how they're handling corner. And maybe they feel like we have enough competitive players at the position already -- with the holdovers from last year, plus the rookies. I just don't like the holdovers, so I was hoping we'd add better players in free agency.

I just get worried that with training camp and preseason injuries we may end up needing to grab another Cromartie off the couch to give up tons of plays and take a ton of penalties.

Brady is such a suck-up. He's saying he's not the G.O.A.T. to show humility. At this point I'd rather he just come out and say, "Duh, of course I'm the greatest." He could win another five more Superbowls and be like, "Nah, I'm awful. On to the next game."

Should have pulled a Jeter and said he wouldn't change places with anyone in the past or playing now.

  4. While the jury is out on whether this team can compete with NE and Pitt or not, in terms of our division, I'm not scared one bit. Everyone is in love with EVERY other team but us. Jacksonville ALWAYS wins the offseason then picks top 5 again, and until they show any sign of improvement, I'm not giving them any benefit of the doubt. Texans and Titans have good teams but we are simply better. We should have won the division last year with that dog crap team that we fielded. Just get one final stop against Detroit in week 1, or against Houston on SNF, or just finish the drive against the Jags in London (which all would not have gotten to that point had we played a full game, not half a game), and we are in the playoffs. We can't say if this offseason was a success or not based on the players we drafted and the guys we signed until we see them all in action, but I'm willing to bet with Grigson gone, Ballard in, and a young veteran like Hankins (who has already been on a team that totally transformed into a top defensive team in one offseason), there to elevate that side of the ball, I think we can come back and win this division. Basically every team in this division got A's for the draft by most standards but I'll give us the free agency win, on top of already starting out ahead of everyone else, as we were the best team in our division last year when we played at our best, plus the loss of Grigson and the hiring of Ballard may have alleviated a ton of stress that these guys, both coaches and players, were feeling. Plus, Luck will be back and healthy. Everyone is in love with everyone else. Why not us?

4 seasons is an eternity, it'll be massively improved this season, but not world-beaters by any means. After one more draft and a few more FA acquisitions, top 10 is very realistic.

If we can stay on track and this offseason works out, on top of next season, we could be just like the team Hankins just came from. He's been on a stinker that was turned into a top defensive team in one offseason.

Last night was the first time I watched Nashville play in the playoffs.  I really think they could go all the way.  They're such a solid team all around

This seems to be their year, still waiting on that Duck's meltdown. I'm mad that Ottawa is already up and we gave them two wins.

  7. Not a top defensive team, won't be for a couple more years,  but if we can at least be a top 15 or 20 team that should be enough to get us into the playoffs considering we were dead last in almost everything and only needed one defensive stop, or one first down, or one touchdown which was the difference between winning and losing several games last year.

Dang. I was looking forward to a Caps Rangers ECF. Guess the hockey gods just hate us, eh?

Also, I know a lot of Rangers fans were looking forward to maybe getting Shatty in the off season........I would be hesitant if I were you guys. He's an unreal talent, but his comments breakdown day kinda rubbed me the wrong way. Didn't at all seem phased about what happened and was talking about how he's looking forward to the UFA process. Even straight up said he's intrigued by Vegas. Doesn't seem like a team player to me tbh.

I was looking forward to that too. I don't want shatty. Not for the price he commands. We will be in the same position w him in a few years that we are with girardi and staal now. Resigning Brendan smith and just letting the next youngsters come up like skjei did last year is more important.

I was thinking the exact same thing, I hope they contracted a famous sculptor to do the work and are putting in extra large amounts of cash to get it done.  I mean, visiting people and hoosiers alike will put much stock in the final product, and many snickers if it's a big failure. (if it's bad, let's hope there's a "re-do" clause in the contract).

It's being done by a local guy, hopefully it's good I have faith.

I was just thinking of you and @bababooey  We missed him last year.

I'm going up for the Cleveland game with my buddies, but the family may go up for that game.

I wanted to come over and meet you that night but was hanging at the hotel the players stayed at. Got to talk to Joe Addai and said hello to Polian. Next time!

Right after I bought the tickets, Ron asked me if you two would be there. He was hoping we'd meet up again. Maybe next year. :)

Ah tell him hello! This year is difficult especially in the fall so only going to make it for preseason but next year definitely regular season.

Bought tickets today for the game.   WooHoo...   Great Seats.   Spent more than I wanted to, but it's not every day you get to sit down on the field,  8th row,  to see your favorite player's jersey retired.   See you in October, Peyton. :)

That is awesome, unfortunately we will not be attending. We will be getting back from our honeymoon the weekend before so it's just not feasible to make it out there this season, but at least will get to go for the preseason against the Lions and we will be back the following fall for the regular season. 8th row is going to be close enough, maybe he will hear you yelling lol

Actually, the part about firing Pagano is an opinion, and not a fact.      It may be the correct opinion and happen just as you predict,    but that's only an opinion for now....

Ok, the fact is he has not beaten those teams in five years. Not even close. I think most would agree if he makes the playoffs only to get blown out by either one of them it's more likely than not the end for him if someone else better is available.
