    I guess people knocking this are frustrated because of the lack of other signings. Because let's be honest, the Colts have proven in recent seasons that unreliable kickers cost games.....no one is caring about his price tag if his kick sends us into the post season.

    Yeah all good points, I do think there is a chance they could go QB too, I don't think it's completely off the table. If they do, do you think it's better trading Fields before or after? Could get more picks this year if before.

    On the flip side the Bears have a lot of needs and trading the number 1 pick is more valuable than trading Fields.

    It's a bit strange isn't it! But I'm also inclined to think Carr will reject any trade move to screw the Raiders out of compensation and force them to cut him and he'll do what he wants then!

    Would the Bears really want to trade down to 9........and it would cost the Panthers a ton to trade that far up!.....I can see the Bears trading but not sure they'd want to fall that far.

    My take is that Irsay will pretty much decree that we do whatever it takes to get our future QB in the draft. I think he's fed up of stop gaps and won't want to be drafting this high again in the near future so may see this as his best opportunity for a rookie. Just can't see him going down free agency route again and obviously going again with any QB this year is a non stater.
