BULL %!!!! He was promised the Patriot job, more money & if he takes a NFC job!

Nice read! Thanks!

Trap game thats funny!! When did the Colts get so good? We are not good enough to have any trap games. The Colts IMO could lose to anyone, & on the other hand with continued improvement hang with and beat most teams.

I love Wilsons talent, I wan't to draft him. He has all the tools, now hes working. Signing Mitchell has been wroth its weight in gold. Glad to see his progress hope it continues!!

Even without Slauson back, we have Joe Haeg, Le'Raven Clark and Denzelle Good (and potentially J'Marcus Webb). I'm really liking what Glowinski's been doing, but if he's demanding a lot of dollars, you would hope Haeg, Clark or Good have developed enough to be able to play either RG or RT and allow for Braden Smith to continue to excel at the other. Or, perhaps, J'Marcus Webb or Slauson will be healthy enough.
Haeg's big knock coming out of school was his lack of strength, but he's addressed that and seems versatile enough to play well (probably not great) anywhere on this OL.Good's knock was he was from such a small school and still very raw. He seems to have all the physical traits and as our coaching staff improves along with the talent around him, I still have some hope he can play in this league.
Clark's knock was he played at Texas Tech who doesn't require their linemen to play pro-style. Here's from his NFL.com scouting report: "He's going to end up being big time in our league. He's got elite foot quickness, he's long and he's smart. He'll keep getting better once he gets to a pro offense and away from that stuff Texas Tech does and he'll become one of the top five tackles in our league." -- NFC personnel director
Long-story short....
I think Glowinski is doing a fine job, but don't think he's an elite OL by any means. Often times, however, you see guys have a good season and demand elite money (and plenty of teams will be spending, probably overspending $ to boost their OL this offseason). If Glowinski demands elite money, I think we're probably just fine with what we have in house.
I like what he’s doing but if he wants too much money Haig could easily play guard or tackle moving Smith to guard and IMO the line wouldn’t miss a beat!

I am happy we got Nelson!!

To Bad about Pipkins, I liked him thought he had potential. Mitchell use to be a good safety I guess we will see.

Wow though is an understatement!! Although I am not surprised he got hurt. He has been injured a great deal the last 3 years. He was playing Ok, glad he didn't hurt himself more!!

That sucks big time!!

Lenzy Pipkins has been added to practice squad.
DJ White cut.
Good DJ White is not very good IMO. Based on film I saw of Pipkins he got to be better and Colts will probably need him!

In his latest press conference, Head Coach Reich explains his philosophy in making changes during a game due to the 'eb-and flo'.
He explains that you have your set game plan, then you move up and/or down your list as the game demands. This could mean play-to play,..but more likely possession to possession.
This is a HUGE change compared to the half time changes we've seen (or in most cases NOT seen) by our previous regime.
Change on the fly determined by how the game is going is crucial IMO. It can also be HUGELY beneficial. A team who is expecting a 4 man rush cause is what they've seen the previous drive being hit with a corner/safety blitz while it just looked like the generic plays they've seen before can cause major disruptions.
Or seeing your Run game is producing and keeping with what works until THEY make changes is also important. Sadly..our previous regime was known all to well to go away from what works because it was in their 'card sheet' That they needed to go conservative with a 10 point lead in the 4th quarter. Hopefully we have a more aggressive play caller defensively. This is what our defense is made for. Youth and speed are for aggression. That is what works best. Experience plays conservative much more effectively than youth. Excited to see our first real game of the year. For the good, or for the bad. At least we'll finally find out what our team REALLY looks like player and coaching wise.
Stupid Pagono bashing really! Wow! He was fine when he went to the playoffs the first 3 Years, and 8/8 twice with a hurt Luck and luck out! Last year was bad but the team was horrible and still in a great many games! Really looking forward to all this nonsense stopping hopefully soon!

Yeah, in the run game, if he didn't take himself out of the play but attacking the wrong gap, the lineman or TE completely wiped the field with him. Additionally, I was not even very impressed with Moore's coverage.
Obviously the coaches see something I don't and I'm okay with that but in the games he seemed more a liability on the field than a help.
Disagree on Moore on coverage, but in the run game your right he is a run/pursuit guy. I like Walker better versus the run because hes physical more of a thumper IMO. can take on blockers. All the LB's are run/Pursuit guys other than Walker. Walker is smart, and hits, someone got to!!

He is down to 205lbs trying to regain the explosiveness he had back at Boise St. He maybe a guy we are looking at to fill Hines role if he can't get it together. That would make sense. He had 103 receptions and handled KO duties at Boise St too. The signing make sense to me now.

Winner winner chicken dinner exactly what I was thinking fits The offense.

Hewitt was signed to the active roster. Still one more spot to fill.
Yup hopefully sign Delaire but with 2 DL men already signed chance are slim I think?

Have a feeling that RF was the last WR cut and was made expendable by the trade and ZP got the last spot based on his return potential
Agree!!

No real surprises, except Simon and to a minor degree Fountain not based on hes play but him being a draft pick. My hope is he, Ishmael and Walker get on the practice squad. Happy for Webb, Odum, Matt Adams, Clark, Franklin, Pascal he deserved it & Delaire. Surprised that Glowinski made it. Disappointed in the Travis injury, and Daniels being traded.

Scheme fit? On what planet? If your scheme is having no pass rush, and getting gashed by RB's, then I guess we have a good scheme

Yes we do. We know that CP pounded the table for Green.
So you assume that when CP went to FSU to work out Werner, that he didn't like Werner and RG used his authority to override him. And that choosing him over Xavier Rhodes didn't include CPs input either.?
You would have to believe that that RG would trust his own judgment about what players would be a better fit for the defense than CP, even though he just hired CP from the succesful BALT defense in which he worked in for several years.
That's some unreasonable extreme hate for RG going on there.
RG did and would, thats why hes gone!
