I respectfully disagree. I genuinely believe Pagano was trying to get his buddy Frank Gore as many yards as possible.

If Mack would have got the carries Gore had and Gore got Mack’s carries Mack would have had way more yards.

I think Mack was clearly the more talented back but just my opinion. :coltshelmet:

Gore was better, Mack does have more talent. Mack was a rookie, the comment wasn't about talent, it was about use of Mack. Mack IMO will benefit greatly having played behind a future Hall Of Fame RB if he watched and listened!!

Pagano kept trying to run him up the middle when he's worlds better running on the outside. It's part of the reason why his ypc was so low.

Teams scheme Mack to run out side and he continually bounced even inside runs outside. Running a lot outside in the NFL is VERY HARD, ask Reggie Bush. Pagano looked for ways to get Mack in space, problem was teams knew that as well! IMO if Mack is ever going to be a complete back he needs to run stronger inside and be a better pass blocker. If he can do that the outside runs, and passing game will open up.

Oh I definitely agree. I'm all for the youth movement. I was just saying his style of running would have been the most improved from Nelson. I'm a big Mack fan and can wait to see him in a more prominent role. Especially without Pagano using him wrong

I Like Mack,  but he has room to improve IMO. Pagano misused him hummm I don't think so.

Yeah and no matter how many times you tell them he has beaten 2 Very Good teams in the Playoffs in KC and Denver, they act like it never happened. We were 8 point underdogs when we won the Divisional Round game at MileHigh. He has also beat the Seahawks/Wilson, Packers/Rodgers twice, and the 49ers when they were Very Good back in 2013. Last time I looked none of those teams are in our Division. People will say but yeah he is still barely over .500 outside the Division. OK, 2 can play at this game as in if they want to disregard his Division wins, then lets take the Pats out of the equation where he is 0-5. Take them out and he's way above .500. He has basically only been owned by 1 team and that is the Pats. Almost everyone has been owned by them so it's not a shock he hasn't beat them.

-In positive news, glad to see he is throwing again and with velocity. I guess the haters can go eat crow now. I have said all along he would start opening day (months ago). Heck he is starting in the 1st Pre-Season game even which I didn't see that coming months ago.

    Yup And the Playoff wins!!

Never had a losing season. :headspin::funny:      And who ever lost a war to the Ethiopian Army.
His won-lost record is barely .500 outside his division. He was Born NFL LUCKY.
I'm am so Happy he will have Ballard and Reich to give him a great opportunity to be his best.

    Patience.

The dumbest least creditable comment of the new year so far!!

Not me.  I'm actually expecting it.  They brought in much better talent.  If he already has dropped down to 4th. string the writing is pretty much on the wall.  He needs to have a great camp but there are always injuries so you never know.

I think he stays, Haig is like mold the longer you watch him he just grows on you!

I noticed that Doyel said, in his article about Luck & the coaching staff, that Haeg has been slotted in as 4th string...  Is that good (we’ve got a lot of great young talent on the OL) or bad (Haeg has regressed and is/was never that good to begin with)?  Do you guys think he’ll make the final roster and how do you guys feel if he doesn’t?

I dont think Haeg is bad at all versatile plays well I think at right guard and tackle, learning the center position. Never hurt. I would be shocked if he didn't make the team.

Make or break time for Swoope. He has some tantalizing moments, but he's been injured too often. He may not even make it out of training camp, so lets not get ahead of ourselves. But here's hoping for a breakout year for the guy.

This is absolutely true. Some on here think hes a TE God in the making:scratch: Me I think he will be hard pressed to even make the team!!

Guessing lots of people thought the same thing a year ago....how’d that work out?

I didn't I have had the same surgery twice takes a year to recover! Those who have not had the surgery and began to throw wouldn't know. He will be great this year! That's how it will work out!
