Who are our priorities to resign and cut on the contracts? We need a new conditioning team to prevent injuries, depth on CB, pass rushers, a good backup to Luck, an offensive line. But I think our biggest priority is we need another wide receiver.

All I can say is I'm really glad we're on the bye.
Oh gosh. This is a perfectly timed bye. Taking it after LOndon wouldve been really bad...

The minute Vontae Davis goes down, the team collapses. The minute Vontae comes back in, everything pieces back together on defense. Is this all mental on the team or is the depth at cornerback really that bad? It just scares me how quickly one player changes the whole defense. Its like he basically blocks that whole side of the field but the minute someone replaces him, the whole defense gets exposed.

LOL. I will go with Pittsburgh vs Seattle.
Really?! Pittsburgh will never get passed the Patriots though unless Brady goes down. The 2 Super Bowls they won were because Brady got hurt in 2007 and they didnt have to go through New England in 2005. Plus, the team is horrible without Big Ben. I think Charlie Batch was a huuuuuge asset to the team.
Seattle will be in the mix for the next few years and the NFC is weak right now so i agree. They are all young still.

Super Bowl: Raiders vs. Cowboys
AFC Championship: Raiders win in the last few seconds of the game thanks to the Tuck Rule and upset the Patriots in Gillette Stadium.
NFC Championship: Tony Romo redeems himself properly placeholding the ball for the kicker to score the gamewinning field goal against the Vikings. Taking away the curse of the Cowboys back in 2007.

I've seen past posts where people have said we need to get rid of Andrew Luck and I thought that it was a stupid idea, but after today's game I have reconsidered. Not because I think that Luck isn't a good quarterback, but for these reasons. Because the Colts are paying so much for him, we don't have the money for enough QUALITY players on defense or offense. Look at the teams we have lost to. Most of them have quarterbacks with nowhere near the caliber of Luck, but their offensive lines and their defense seem to outplay us handily.
Maybe it's time to consider the quality of the players we have on both sides of the ball, rather than having a having the highest paid quarterback in the league, as Mr. Irsay likes to say. Even Brady can,t win games by himself. Just sayin'...What are you guys thoughts about this?
In the end, its the front office that needs help. Even if you get that average quarterback like you said, the front office will overpay him. The philosophy needs to change up there. Either way, you can restructure Lucks contract. That is no problem.
I am so sure Luck didnt walk up to Irsay and say, "Give me all the money you have or im leaving." Its the greedy agent that accepts it in the end. Luck could probably least care if he was getting paid $500,000 a year.

I feel like its like facing the opposing team and the refs every week. Everytime the colts try to come back, the refs also make bogus calls..am I the only one who sees this? Every single game...
-
My record is 5-2. I couldve been 6-1 if Christine played like the other weeks but I did not know that the Cardinals defense was going to be that stingy this past weekend. It was a close score.
My bench is okay. They each score atleast 10 points every week. I added Rawls today. Im going to wait another week to see how Eifert does this weekend. It’s a London game so I am holding off on the trade. I hate these London games, the fields are not the best conditions for football players. They are made for tall, skinny lightweight soccer players not big, heavy football players so the oline tends to slip a lot.
-
How valuable is Thomas Rawls when he comes back? Who is the red zone RB for the Seahawks? I hate how teams use different red zone RBs. It hurts fantasy values for teams because one does all the running then the other guy just pounds in for a 2 yard TD. I have Christine Michael and someone is offering Tyler Eifert. I am in desperate need for a TE. I feel like Christine is only temporary. Who will get more carries when Rawls comes back?
My other RBs are Eziekel and Murray so he would just be a W/R.
How valuable is Eifert? He didn’t do much this past week but I think they are starting off slow with him because of injury.

Well on the bright side we should be getting a nice spot in the draft. Wohoo?
To get another Wide Receiver. WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOO!!!!

The only reason i see anyone in the NFL leaving for college is if they are horrible NFL coaches. Harbaugh took a big downgrade going down to college with his knowledge. The longer he stays there, he will not be able to keep up with the NFL if he ever comes back. The NFL changes to fast season to season.
-
Are you kidding me? They are the reason why Luck kept getting sacked towards the end of the game. Them and the defense cost us the game. The WR, QB showed up but no oline or D

I mean I'm not advocating it.
But don't be surprised if one of Pagano and Grigson are looking for a job TOMORROW.
who will want them?

Good trade initially, but Ryan and yhe Falcons tend to fall apart the second half of the season.
Not necessarily, matt ryans first half of the season is a hard schedule. His second half ia wayy easier so its good that he started strong

I figured luck can make dumb mistakes sometimes and matt is less likely. But the main reason is because matt ryan will go all out with like multiple touchdowns but luck doesnt do that. I guess if the game is all but sealed, he tends to be a good sport lol.

You can leave the Browns, but you can't take the Browns out of you.
Bellichick found the cure. The cure of chea...nevermind.

Except the five sacks. Thats 11 in 2 games now
I can tell you that 3-4 of the sacks today were because Luck held on wayyyy too long on that ball.

I'm going to resist rushing to judgment on Robinson a #2 CB. New city, new coaches, new scheme and limited practice due to injury. I think that position may get much better. Rookies Morrison, Maggitt, Ridgeway & Green are all getting a lot of reps, so improved play should be expected.
Kelly, Haeg, Rogers and Swoope will all improve as well going forward. I leave Ferguson for last, because I just don't see why he's getting any reps.
5 games into the season and you are still defending Patrick Robinson? He should be well adjusted by now. If they could just close the gap in that position. Half of our problems on defense go away. Still need pressure on the QB but those large yard gains on Patrick Robinson REALLY REALLY killed us today.

Just imagine if they actually blocked for him and the defense got the opposing team off the field occasionally.
Im sorry but what game did you watch today? He was pretty well blocked for the most part of the game. Running and defense is the huge problem.

Why? More wins mean we probably keep Pagano and Grigson and this team's outlook is bleak. More losses mean we get rid of that dead weight and we get a better draft position
not necessarily. Patriots and Packers have been in the bottom 5 draft picks for more than a decade and look at their teams. Browns, Titans, and all those shenanigan teams have been in the top 10 and what have they done?!

You guys are complaining about a win wishing we would have lost? Some of you really make me ashamed to be apart of this forum sometimes....
well im not really complaining about the win. Im just saying there is consequences. Every win means Grigson is here to stay...along with Pagano.......and Chudzinski........................................

Oh man.......not too excited about the possibility of the playoffs really. Won't lie. I would almost rather it be Houston who gets demolished by NE or Pittsburgh then us.
It's nice to win but this team looks so bad even against bad teams........
Look man, im tired of seeing Patriots get a free ride to the Super Bowl. So sending the Texans is a waste of time. Atleast the Jaguars are alittle closer. LOL!
-
That goes down as one of the ugliest wins in Colts history. We dont want to lose but if we keep winning, were just helping Grigson and Pagano keep their jobs...

Who wrote this thread? Grigson?
Were we LUCKY today or not?
