  1.

We would have signed 10 wide receivers and preparing to draft another 3 in april.

I always wonder if he just hated indianapolis and wanted to see its demise. It was literally common sense of what these team needs were.

This is just a joke thread btw, not meant to inflame the board. Just have fun with jokes here. Lol.

  2. Grigson made a big mess and now we are paying for it. Ballard should have been here years ago. He definitely seems like a draft only type guy.

No big free agent pickups kind of means we will have a younger, faster inexperienced team. There is just no way we can compete with the Patriots at this moment when they just added an overwhelming amount of free agents to stack up their already stacked up team. Our division stacked up in free agency and if the Jags throw in all their money on Poe, we can hope that the Texans dont pick up Romo. Dude can put up an average of 50 points per game if he needs to. Worst of all, were still trying to plug in holes on our starters and STILL have to add depth.

Confined to a box?  Not sure what that means.  You can argue how well he did  but he blocked and was used as a receiver in our scheme.

Im more concerned the the confined to a box term. How can you be confined in the box on a team when you are injured most of your career?

  4. I think... IF we were going to go OL in the draft, unfortunately, 1st round seems to be the only way to go this year. I wouldn't hate it, but I'd much rather get a vet FA that can plug in and be a star NOW.

The oline clicked this year a couple of times. But the d rarely got to the quarterback this season. Colts need talent at pass rush asap. Cant be waiting for a possible diamond in the rough in the later rounds.

  5. For the sake of discussion, I've been seeing some mocks where the Colts got either Cam Robinson or Ryan from Wisconsin.

I personally don't think they need a RT with the potential of Clark etc.

But I was wondering what the reaction would be if the Colts did go this route, especially with what Ballard saying that if everything was equal he'd go with the trenches.

I think theres a big misconception going on the colts oline. The fact was that grigson kept changing the starting oline every game. The oline needs to play their respective positions every week unless there is an injury.

We might need to plug in a position or two bit our biggest concern is pass rush, lb, and a cb opposite of vontae.

  6. Pay the man.

After seeing what the patriots do without paying the man. Nope i prefer to move on then have a couple of players suck up the cap space. Every team in the NFL needs to follow to get these agents from being so greedy.

Seeing what the steelers did to extend a wr contract with Antonio brown really shows why the patriots are always contenders...

First, I'm not aware of anyone who hate the Packers --- period.

So, even if there are some who dislike the Pats --- they don't hate you guys anywhere near as close as they hate the Patrots.

New England is the number one hate by a long shot.

    No one else is 2nd.

And all 30 other teams compete for 3rd in any given week.

    That's roughly the breakdown.

Saints are 2nd. We will never forget how the saints fans mocked the colts after the super bowl win. Even though we were respectful. Then they scored 62 points on our backup quarterback when peyton was hurt.

  8. I really hope not. I don’t want Patriots front office seeing this as an opportunity to dress up as the HBO crew so they can find out what is going on in Indy. According to the Deflategate report, Pats workers dressed up as NFL Films crews to steal play sheets and listen to what the other teams had to say at halftime.

#2 Weve had 2 disastrous seasons in a row already. Colts need to focus on their upcoming season. I really don’t want to see any distractions for this team. PERIOD.

  9. It could all just be a big joke.

    #1 Hes a comedian.

    #2 He confirmed his retirement…in person…at a comedy show…

#3 Is he really going to bring down his wage from $2 million a year to a 6am-11am $30,000 a year job?

Im sorry, im still trying to get over this *crying*. LOL! He cannot leave us. This dude can be a quarterback, catches his own onside kicks, and knows how to tackle. He brings so much needed momentum to the Colts.

  10. i dont think people understand. If it was that easy and they truly thought they could find a better coach than Pagano, they would have done it in a snap. The situation is there are no coaching candidates that meet their needs at the moment. If we take whatever, then we gotta be stuck with that guy another 2-3 years to give him an opportunity.

Why not just try Pagano one last time without Grigson breathing over his back and if it doesnt work out, you change coaches games into the season or after.

We could very well have good choices after this season with Sean Payton or more.

Is it just me or did Poe just not overwhelm me with his play in the largest game of his season against the Pats? That defense got gashed and iirc, Poe wasn't a factor in that game at all. Do you pay 12-15 million a year for a guy who doesn't shine in such a big game? That concerns me a big for the simple fact Poe is surrounded by talent and they barely slowed Tommy boy wonder up in that game. We have far less defensive talent to surround Poe with so will teams simply just eliminate Poe knowing we have no other talent to get through the offensive line? Unless we add 2 superior talents on that defense, I'd probably forgo spending such cash on one player. Idk, I'm torn here.

LOL! Were you watching the playoffs in an alternate world this year?

Pagano is still the head coach

You know Pagano led this team to an AFC Championship. If he wasnt high caliber, then he wouldnt have gotten that far. Lets also take into the fact that the defense was average and the oline wasnt the best. Its quite impressive what he did that year but unfortunate that the players let the Patriots get into their heads that game.

Way way to early for this! If Denver gets a QB to go with that D they have a very good chance of going and winning it again.

Oakland with a healthy Carr and an improved 2ndary has a chance.

Pitt is always dangerous and will have 2 great WR, a STUD RB, and a HOF QB as well as a young D that should improve.

Texans -- are in the same boat as Denver, I dare say their D is better right now and they have everything except a competent QB.

Titans - a improved D a decent O that's Young with a Franchise QB could make the next step.

I so want out Indy down but even though you have IMO Athe best Young QB in the NFL you have so many holes that Luck has to try and cover up and while he is very Good he is not P Manning or TB12 yet. (IMO your owner should have cleaned house.)

but i I think I have shown a few who could easily rise up and take the AFC from NE next year. Could the Pats repeat? ABSOLUTLY as long as we have Brady and BB they have that chance.

If Romo goes to Denver, im sorry but Denver wins it all. Dude can put up 50 points on the board and even with his mistakes, the Defense will make up for it. Siemen couldnt move the ball in Denver so the defense played alot and tired out.

I agree with Carr and Oakland. I feel like they would play with a lot of passion against New England because of what happened in 2001. I dream that Carr wins it for Oakland because of the tuck rule. That would just prove Karma exists.

Pitt is not dangerous. They always flop against New England.

Texans always perform against weak teams but flop against the power houses.

Titans could step it up. I honestly think they couldve beat New England.

The Falcons were inexperienced. I highly doubt that wouldve happened against the Packers, Giants and never the less the Seahawks. They know what to expect against New England. The Falcons did well though for being new in the Super Bowl. Julio Jones is without a doubt probably the best wide receiver of all time.

  14. A first round pick for a bust. When has a backup QB ever been traded for success in a franchise? We realized that QBs who play for New England are system QBs. But obviously we will always have the dumb, desperate teams like Browns, Bills, or Texans giving up their picks or huge money for a bust.
