If I could trade Vontae for a 3rd right now, I'd do it. He's starting to decline and we'll be fine without him. Wilson is back, and Hairston is doing really well and should be back very shortly. Desir and Melvin are also ok too. A 3rd round pick would be much needed to continue the rebuild. 12+ games of value to a contending team should be worth a 3rd rounder.

I dont think hes declining. He just needs better a strength and conditioning team. He is worth more than a 3rd.

  2. He is also responsible for getting us to win the super bowl. The game against the Ravens was were like 4-5 field goals by Vinatieri because Peyton couldnt reach the endzone lol.

Unfortunately his days are numbered and we need to look into Gostowski soon.

  3. I mean...we couldve said the same exact thing for the 2016 season as he was coming back from a shoulder injury, broken ribs, and a ruptured kidney...

the shoulder had been bothering him in the 2016 season too and people forget that...

but we all saw that he put up top 5 QB numbers as a result. Luck is a warrior man...and he probably only took more time off as a precaution which is even better..

Well one thing has remained the past 6 years. Pagano. Pretty obvious it's the coaching.

Look how the Rams and Bills turned around in ONE offseason when they finally got competent coaches.

I would NEVER count on the Rams and Bills as an example. Dont forget the Bills started out strong 8-0 one season and finished 8-8. I highly doubt they will continue to play well after halfway through the season. As for LA, were not sure yet but we know as long as Jeff Fisher is not the coach, then we will see..

  5. I feel like the coaches have their part of blame but...the PLAYERS are the one on the dang field! Theyre the ones that need to make plays happen. The coaches can only tell them what they should do. The coaches are not going to stop Russel Wilson from running out of the pocket, nor having the RBs run all over us and the D get all over the QBs face. The players need to stop all that...

The first half showed that the coaches have done their part to prepare the team. The team just needs to continue executing in the second half.

CTE is slowly eating away at the core of football. There are schools all over the country who are doing away with football programs all together.

More parents are discouraging their sons from even playing football.

There is always going to be people who play football. I mean CTE was discovered almost 10 years ago so that means that we wouldve lost lots of players along time ago.

  7. Because there isn’t a rivalry like Tom Brady vs. Peyton anymore. A lot of QB’s are inconsistent kinda like Rodgers and Wilson. Rodgers only performs against horrible teams like the Bears or someone easy but then he plays bad against powerhouses like Seattle and Atlanta. Atlanta almost kinda lost again but Rodgers always flops against big teams. Luck maybe the next big thing but who is he gonna face? A 40 year old Brady or Aladdin as his backup?

That Peyton vs. Brady rivalry was once in a lifetime but I hope it comes back again once Peyton and Bradys child grow up…

So he wasn't the 1 out of 111...hmph...

Well…I mean they’ve found it in soccer players brains too. They do headers a lot in practice. Then they go for it in the air and bump heads hard. I’ve always found it unnecessary to head the ball. If I can in soccer, I’d use my chest instead.

Beginning to wonder if we'll see more of these lawsuits pop up and if successful, wonder what impacts itll have on the game as a whole

Im pretty sure the NFL has adjusted their contracts to make sure players don't sue them for the damages to their brains. Id say anyone post discovery of CTE probably won't be able to sue the NFL unless they find a loophole (which there always is).

  10. I agree but let's be honest about WHO was the one who prepared them to play in the NFL....Chuck Pagano. That is what Chuck Pagano NEEDED. Someone to BRING them these players then train them. These guys did not just train themselves. Chuck deserves alot more CREDIT for the way they played against the Cards on Sunday.

Sure he didnt have a good debut but Chuck is NOT responsible for throwing passes for Tolzien. He gave Tolzien the gameplan and he didnt DELIVER. NOT PAGANOS FAULT.

He gave Brisette the gameplan but he is still LEARNING. Had Brisette been there all training camp. Things would probably be alot BETTER right now but then again...the organization KNEW Luck was going to be out for a while so WHY did they NOT pick up someone to backup Luck?

That all goes back to Ballard and Irsay for not bringing Chuck a BETTER quarterback (Until Brisette came).

    I liked watching Jacoby Brissett

me too but idk what happened to him at the end. I think that if he is unsure or cant find an open receiver, he shouldve ran the play. He had many situations where he couldve ran in open field.

On one, Moncrief was covered by 4 players like 20 yards away and instead of running it on a clear open field with noone near, he threw it to him...

After how we played last week, in my mind this was a loss before we even stepped out on the field today.

To no one's surpirse, we lost this game. What made it surprising is that the Colts played well enough to have a 10-point lead. This is actually an improvement.

YES! That is what im saying. LOL

The refs did t cause us anything. This team isn't good on Offense. Can't run, WRs are inconsistent and can't get separation. Return game is useless. Defense creates very little turnovers.

Cut the loser blaming the refs mentality

how do you expect Brisette to learn the playbook and build chemistry with his receivers in 2 weeks. They were out of sync.

You know he was using Patriots QB terminology today right?
