He could be a significantly CHEAPER Cory Redding for us and I would be ok with it for a year though....lol
-
Dockett has been crap or injured for the last 4 years. At this point, he's a significantly worse version of Cory Redding. Even at the top of his game, Dockett was a very good pass rusher but was bad vs the run.
Well, from 2010 to 2013 Dockett missed 2 games and had 183 Tackles, 139 of them solo, and 14.5 sacks, 1 forced fumble, and 2 fumble recoveries and 5 pass defenses.
Redding on the other hand had 157 tackles, 41 of them solo, and 14.5 sacks, and 1 INT 14 Pass defenses and 3 Fumble recoveries over the same span.
In 2014, Dockett was out, and Redding declined a bit.......
Redding turns 35 this coming November 15, and Dockett Turns 35 May 27 of next year....
I don't think it is fair to call him a SIGNIFICANTLY worse Cory Redding...... They don't even play the same position on most snaps

Ouch!!! Poor 17 Jags fans..... lol
-
correction, I see they still have 3 cuts to go to reach 53...... Gray and Wayne not listed yet on NFL.Com
-
As of now, NE has announced their cut downs to 53, Reg isn't among the cuts....
-
yep, I mean colts...... good old collective terms....... Team doesn't exist without fans ; )
-
Looks like NE cut him
-
I mean, he's older and has most definitely lost a step or two, but before his big injury, Dockett was remarkably healthy for his career
-
Dockett would be ok to take a flyer on, don't know of any offset language in either his AZ or SF contracts that would mean he is still getting paid by them..... he is 35 and coming off injury, but he might like a one year cheap deal to try and get a SB before retiring......
-
Interesting that we have announced cutting Quarles, and then no one else for a while now....... wonder what we are waiting to see from other teams, if anything.....
-
As long as we don't Caesar Rayford Okine now.....lol
-
The words atrocious tackler pretty well sums it up
must be...lol
-
hard to predict ol Chip
-
....wow Chip....just wow..... he's fun to guess the next move of
-
DL move? maybe, but as of now we still have Kerr, Chap, Parry, Hughes, Langford, Okine, Anderson..... who am I missing?
-
well, That's a mild surprise.... but Okine did shine
-
They cut the rookie OL out of Auburn, Dismukes, as well.....wasn't he considered a solid prospect at C or G back at draft time?
-
Wow, Steelrs cut Gerrod Holliman..... remember he was a hot UDFA target this year at Safety outta Louisville
-
Actually I never really read the article I just somehow remember Dennis Allen talking about it during a press conference. I have a couple friends that are Raiders fans so I get to see the occasional Raiders press conference
.
Your poor friends! lol j/k

Raiders fans are livid. They are calling their coaching staff and front office stupid for this decision. A lot of them seem to really like Sio say his motor and instincts are top notch. Just a note I believe Dennis Allen when he was HC in Oakland drafted Sio to pretty much take on a Von Miller type roll. I personally think he is a ILB in our system, but OLB is not out of the question.
You musta read the same NFL.com article I did....lol "Former Raiders coach Dennis Allen originally had plans to utilize Moore in a Von Miller-like role, which suggests the former UConn star will do most of his damage at outside linebacker in the Colts' 3-4 scheme."

Traded Barkley to AZ for conditional Pick/s. Looks like Chip's got faith in Timmy!
-
Are they sure it was a bolt and not an Errant Bennett Throw?
-
Kruger was buried behind an a lot of good players in Balt. his first couple of years was he not?
-
Any interest if Chap or Hughes, or both get released?

I think it's the other way around, Trading for Sio explains why we went ahead and IR'ed Sylvestre.....
