DQ has been a leader in the locker-room since he came to the NFL.    That's roughly 10 years ago.

He has a consistent track record of being a good guy, a good teammate.

The incident with the pizza guy is an off the field incident,  not connected in any way to what he does with the Colts.      I'm not sure why you'd try to play connect the dots on that one.....?

While True, and I kind of agree with you there, the issues of Nkemdiche and Spence are the same as DQ's by your litmus test here.....off field and not affecting their teams..... anymore so than them missing games/time with the team.....

I would like to see the us take a pass rusher 1st round (Leonard Floyd, Noah Spence, Shaq Lawson) best available. The 2nd round we need a leader at center (Jack Allen, Nick Martin) to bring our line together. The 3rd round need to be either FS or RG (best available).

I have had predictions in the past but Grigson always surprises me!!

Shaq Lawson is not a pass rusher....... more of an Erik Walden.

The Colts already have plenty of LBS like Ragland who can play against the run. The biggest problem is finding an athletic one who can cover the field.

I want someone who can cover TEs.

Remember too if Colts take Billings that alone will help the D overall

ancient in football years D'qwell and Walden, who isn't that young either..... and still unproven after injury Nate Irving.....I wouldn't exactly say we are stacked with thumping run stoppers going forward.... we have Sio Moore and not much else for athletic LB'ers... Sylvestre is a raw prospect at best..... so either way, we need both it seems, like a lot of spots on this roster.

I'm not comfortable leaving it up to Geathers (1 year experience) and a 35 year old.... if we got Darian Thompson or Von Bell you really dont want them back there day 1?? They'd be flying making plays everywhere

In reality, if we draft a Safety too early, and expect him to start day one, he will be busy, not flying around making plays, but being dragged 3 to 5 yards trying to tackle all the RB's that trucked our LBer's back at the LoS.......

I hate to beat a dead horse and even if Dorsett has a solid year. He wasnt worth a first round draft pick. He is what he is, hes more suited for the slot. TY and Moncrief are one and two i don't think that will change.

Still too early to declare that as fact IMO....Injuries to Dorsett, and all 900 QB's we had to run out probably slowed his development just a bit..... not to mention 2 different OC's.....

Bob Sanders helped us win a SB.  It took lots of hate and doubt from the Colts fan base, but Bob Sanders helped us win a SB.

I'm not recalling the hate and doubt......  Noone was particularly miffed at trading back and drafting a S.....no one hated on Bob for being hurt a bunch, we all saw what the D was when he was in.  It just sucked that he couldn't stay healthy.

Sean Davis out of Maryland is a beast with size and good athleticism, probably would need to be moved to safety, but I think he will be a steal if he is drafted past round 2.

I like him a lot, but he pretty much replicates Geathers position..... when Adams retires, we'd have 2 SS...no FS

  8. Ran a simulated Draft this morning using composite big board, updated the 22nd.....

Rd1 - Andrew Billings DT Baylor

    Rd2 - Ryan Kelly - C Alabama

    Rd3 - Nick Martin - C/G Notre Dame

    Rd4 - Scooby Wright - OLB - Arizona

    Rd5 - Daryl Worley - CB - West Virginia

    Rd6 -

    Rd7 - Darrius Latham DL - Indiana

Definitely fell into place to fix the OL, get an impact NT, and a possible OLB steal....If only it shook out this way!
