Irsay gave Grigson and Pagano extensions.  That shows he's part of the problem.  In my opinion, the necessary changes would be for him to take a step back, maybe let one of his daughters take more control, hire better people, and hold higher standards.  The Colts have a culture where it's acceptable to be just good instead of trying to be great.

The girls are Grigson's biggest supporters and advocates unfortunately

The coach is stuck with two clowns he has to answer to. I refuse to blame Pagano as along as Grigson breathes air.

yeah, Grigson and Irsay keep making dumb fake punt calls and challenges, better player talent and longer extensions sure would solve Pagano's *ic plays and lack of preparation game after game, year after year, assistant after assistant.... lol

I don't see how he couldn't and I'll be very disappointed if he doesn't.  Jeff Fisher is the only HC I know that can lose year after year and still keep his job.  Most teams fire guys that do that 2 consecutive years.  Period.  The GM is another story.  i wouId like him gone too but I'm not sure that is going to happen.

Marvin Lewis has sucked with the exception of a few random years.....

    Agreed

Dude, all but one of those throws were in Dorsetts hands. They were throws an NFL receiver is supposed to be able to make. Even Sorgi said so in the post game

Eh, Sorgi Also told me in a bar once that the colts screwed up drafting Addai, and he would suck because his hands were tiny, and that his boy Ron Dayne was who we should have drafted, because he was a sure fire hall of famer..... it's Jim..... lol

The team stinks the coach does not. Actually, they are not a team, just a bunch of guys running around in circles.

No, the coaches pretty much suck as well...... fire them and watch to see all the teams that snap them up and give them promotions, it'd be pretty telling.....

  6. Chuck basically says, "We knew there was no clear recovery, so we didn't want to challenge it, we knew that and discussed it, but uh.... somehow we still got charged a challenge and a timeout"

Serious-freakin-ly?  THAT's what happened?  Whatever Chuck, please...... just resign, this kind of crap is insulting to fan's intelligence......  He expects people to buy that excuse?  If so, I have afake punt formation where the ball is never supposed to be snapped to sell him......

The defense didn't stop the run.  Luck didn't get rid of the ball fast enough at times.  Luck had hardly anytime to throw.  Horrible idea to put Allen on Clowney 1on1 which caused a fumble.  The pics really weren't lucks fault.  Indy should have intercepted Houston in the redzone.  Dorsett drops way to many passes.  This was a game they had to win to have a chance to win the division.  I think Tenn is going to win the division at 9-7 now.  That play call on 4th and 1 was awful as well.  The Colts lost to Brock Osweiler TWICE!  Think about that.

Many plays Luck had forever to throw, and the WR were all on Go routes and covered...... the playcalling sucked all day.....

I wasn't a fan of taking a C at 18 but Kelly has been solid  at a position Grig's hadn't been able to fix since he arrived. If you need the 18th to finally fix that's what you do.

The draft overall could have been better. A project in the 3rd and a reach in the 4th. That means 2 of the 5 picks in the top 125 we get nothing. Then taking a second C in the 7th a guy who offers no position flexibility. IMO Blythe puts in question the ability to construct a roster. Why would you spend the 18th over pick on a C then draft a C only in the 7th?

Morrison is another slow linebacker that can't cover lacks speed to play sideline to sideline. I couldn't find anyone who thought he was more than a late day 3 - UDFA prospect predraft. CB's Robinson and Hall and our choice at RB Howard Booker Dixon all sitting there.

We hear how we looked at Ferguson hard early day 3. It really makes you wonder how close this was to a disaster. You replace Haeg or Ridgeway with Ferguson things aren't ok. I'm concerned what direction we take in this years draft. I don't like the Clark pick. Maybe it turns to gold but we weren't in a spot to roll dice in the 3rd. Morrison and Blythe were just bad.

I'd argue Ridgeway is not really a project at this point, does he have potential that is untapped?  yep..... but he is starting, and doing a decent job, as a 4th round pick..... he may have been labeled a project, but if you can start your first year and hold your own as a 4th round pick, you are doing pretty well.....  also, the Blythe pick?  it's a throw away pick, why not take a guy rated as a potential starter down the road at any position, regardless of your roster

  9. Not to mention, Morrison gets practice reps..... A Luke Rhodes, probably carries stuff at Practice, brings donuts in the morning, and practices blocking on Special Teams...... gets a bit of scout team burn..... and that's all

I'm sorry but I do not trust Morrison in the passing game at all.   I think they will exploit him, and he's not quick enough to recover dealing with Miller.  Hopefully we make the necessary adjustments because I think it's going to be a problem.

You trusted DQ in the passing game?  I trusted DQ would get smoked routinely.....  Morrison might do worse simply from an inexperience standpoint, but it won't be because DQ was superior in coverage....
