  1. Long Post...... but I love the Fanspeak.com simulator.... even though the actual low end roster guys aren't u p to date, their cap numbers are similar to guys we have in their spots currently

Not seemingly realistic for FA, but hey, the numbers worked at least...lol

I think this last draft saved Grigson. I'm starting to think that Irsay probably knew deep down that this wasn't a contending team this year with all the youth on it. That's probably also the main reason for the massive inconsistency from game to game. Now if they underperform again next year, I can see them both getting let go. But, imo, there is some good youth on this team, especially Anderson, Kelly, Geathers, Ridgeway, Mewhort, Moncrief and even Green is showing flashes. They just need experience.

Youth is fine, and maybe Grigson should get another year....... bonehead playcalls have happened way too often to be forgiven....

  3. Seems more likely by the day that next football season I will be focused solely on Saturday kickoffs......  Only thing that could ever make me totally apathetic towards an Indy team has always been lack of caring/direction from the very top, and it is starting to feel like we have arrived at that point.   I will still give the box scores a glance I guess.

Calling the colts losers isn't something a troll would say. In fact, after what happened last year a lot of fans were calling the colts losers. This year? They have managed to be worse with a healthy Andrew Luck. How is it possible to backslide like this? Well because the colts have been sucking slightly less than the rest of the division for the last 5 years.

Its awesome to have these franchise QBs without surrounding them with a real team and real coaches. Our franchise will not be a dynasty anytime soon with this current owner and staff.

Losers find a way way to lose games and the colts do exactly that. Winners fight for 60 minutes. Troll? Sounds more like you at this point calling a fan out for no reason.

    "Fan"  lol.......

  5. "No changes are coming anytime soon. Irsay is part of the problem, not a solution to any problem. Eventually people will stop coming to watch a trash ball team like the Colts, and when the stadium is empty and the Colts are even a bigger joke in the nfl then they are now... Maybe then irsay will think of his financial investment and find a coaching..."

"And I quote from the Indy star... "And in one 24-day period last spring, Irsay got 400 tablets of OxyContin: four prescriptions of 100 40-milligram tablets each, records show." ... " 6 hours ago

"It doesn't matter what play was called. Losers lose.... And the Colts team is filled with Losers."

"Luck will be out Thursday.... This Colts team is a constant disappointment and there is no reason why luck won't disappoint in true Colts style and not make it out of concussion protocol by then. Steelers are gonna drop another 50 burger on the lame Colts... Fact "  Nov 22

"Andrew luck is in concussion protocol. He won't play Thursday. Season is now over for the Colts... Irsay needs to clean house. "  Nov 21

Yeah he's a true fan, he's shown to be a timely bag of dicks

No.  it was widely known Peyton voiced his opinion when things weren't "right."  And everyone seemed to jump including the owner.  I just ron't see that presence.  I didn't mean Leyton himself really.  But rather that there was someone seemingly monitoring EVERYTHING and had a BIG effect on holding prople accountable, imo.

our staff is a little too buddy-buddy for my taste.  Thats all.  It just seems like the team is not as prepared or disciplined as past regimes. I think it can be fixed, but HAS to be addressed.

we got sloppy, imo.  From the play on the tield (drops and penalties), to coaching (game management and play calling).  Add to that the holes in the roster and injuries equals a mediocre year.

Maybe the main reason is the division.  Add one or two wins  for houston and one for jax and we're 8-5 or 9-4 like the past decade in control of a weak division.  Now we aren't guaranteed 5 or 6 divisional wins per year.

Peyton was part of it, Tony was part of it, and they had a NO Nonsense badass qualified halll of famer in waiting GM, as well as an amazing OC, and hall of fame possible OL coaches...... team had so much structure it wasn't funny, this team........ is a ragtag group of save-my-*-please-last-minute-bargain-bin-crap-picks

We all knew we were VERY weak at LB, we have no real consistent pass rush to speak of. We all knew this.  We have a very young OL that, imo, progressed nicely, but injuries left no roof m for consistency.

Add in the injuries at cb, ol, wr, safety and lb, and this is what you get.  It should really be no surprise.  We are still an offseason a ay from filling the holes.  We all knew this.

unfortunately, we really are what our record says we are.

this organization needs to look at itself from the top down.  From Jim to literally the guys parking cars.  Ee aren't that far off, imo.  The organization just got a little sloppy with attention to details.  Peyton just walking the halls kept everyone on edge.  It may be time to bring back the "eggshells" and have more accountability from top to bottom.

this season is a bummer but we kind of saw this coming.  If we werent in a mediocre division, it would have been over weeks ago really.

As an IU fan this whole, PEYTON kept everything on point crap, sounds a lot like people still pining for Bobby knight......  romanticizing the past......

No, but that was the rumors paired with the sources you are talking about. it was all apart of the same rumors. the point is, take it with a grain of salt and certainly dont think it means he will be kept around.  being family didnt save polian or manning, it wont save grigson.

True, and hopefully you are right, and clearer heads will prevail

remember hearing on radio, or reading, where Grigson seriously ingratiated himself with the Girls when he stepped in to run/advise on most of the daily operations when Irsay was suspended half the year or whatever, can't seem to find it now, but they thanked him profusely for trying to head the ship, and they seem to consider him almost family now..... if true, we're pretty much SOL

I could be mistaken I guess, can't locate a source.
