we don't have to throw another year away with all of their lame excuses. Grigson suddenly jumping on the Pagano bus because "he had to", they are attached at the hip after the extension, Starting out games horribly, ending games horribly, not being prepared, making horrendous play calls, time-outs, red-flags, inconceivable play-calls and gaffs, not protecting luck and acting like nothing is wrong, allowing line backing core to reek to high heaven....leading the league in QB pressues/hits/etc.... accountability issues, fan-base desertion, disjointed draft picks decisions, total flame-outs and no in-game adjustments to stop the bleeding.....i could go on but a little vomit just came up.
corps, not core...... sorry, I guess I'm, that guy

Nothing is changing..... I've moved on from hopeful, to trying reverse psychology

Attendance will be fine
yeah, it's just gonna be super easy to find good, cheap tickets again next year

apparently they Cut Mike Wells off when he was asking a tough question, Phillip B. Wilson said the PR staff did it.....
-
I mean, good lord...... Chuck actually said that "Beating Jacksonville yesterday proves we have the right guys, coaches, and players"

If you looked at the post I responded to, I gave the exact same sentence that that poster gave to someone else.
And you could've used your comment on him.
Context is important.
absolutely. My mistake, tons of different conversations in the thread to try and keep track of.

His only other coordinator experience was 2 years at East Carolina and 1 at North Carolina
-
Pagano has the same amount of NFL DC experience as Ted Monachino does as of today...... why does everyone think he's an accomplished Defensive Guru at the NFL level?

Take away the 9 wins he wasn't even coaching and his record is 32-21 that's weak as hell when you coach in the AFC South. His record outside the division is putrid and many of those losses were blowouts.
21 of them by 22.5 point average...... gross

Hate to break it to you, but he's much better than you think....
because you think so?

Yes, but we're on the 8 year plan - the only one in pro sports.
not true, the Pacers are on a similar timeline lol

I will hope for the best if Pagano and Grigson are brought back, but it'll be the first time in years that I won't have any faith in the people running the team.
By God, I would be thrilled if they proved me wrong, but I don't see it happening. Probably another 8-8 year or worse next season.
I'm right there with you, if they come back, I hope they win 13 games...... with next years schedule, heck, they just might... but man, so could many other combinations
-
How many more of their last 6 games would the Packers have won if they were anywhere near healthy? What's that.......? Oh......
-
I don't think Langford, P. Robinson, and a few more games from the starting OL 5 is worth that many more wins..... they lost plenty when we were healthy enough to win.

You're welcome. Now tell me, do you think with even half those players healthy, we would have still gone 8-8?
yep

21 losses by more than 21 points in the last 5 years..... 9 of Pagano's wins, he didn't coach
-
Don't hate Pags, he's just not adding a lot in the coaching department. Seems like he can motivate, and guys love playing for him..... but he's a liability versus winning teams a little too often for my taste.

he did that weeks ago
we will probably hear from him in the coming days anyway
No. Irsay said he didn't anticipate any changes, immediately following it with the caveat that things are always subject to change.

"I guess I should have titled it waning faith in organization to make the right moves after Chuck's presser"
-
If we retain Chuck...... man...... He didn't exactly inspire anyone there....... seemed so clueless, and had no substantive answers...... wasn't confident....... I'm more concerned than I was yesterday that Ownership is going to screw this up, either direction they go in......

This presser shows what we already knew - lack of self-awareness, lack of direction, lack of any sort of idea about how to improve this team. Nothing but cliches about grinding and getting better without a single concrete word about exactly how he plans to make things better.
Bingo!

Caller accused him of knowing about cheating and he blew up, said he was there at 3 and was gonna beat his butt, and urinate on him. In much more, exlpicit terms. I was calm before that. Glad I have an off switch.
Then the hilljack's wife/gf called in..... lol

People are ticked..... woman just dropped the F bomb on Dakich, another called him an *...... he can't take anymore calls today wow.....
Chuck Pagano will be made available to the media at 1:30 today.

London game wasn't a fluke. In fact, it closely resembled more than a few games this season, and rendered the exact same result as 7 others.....
