I may just be venting...... but hell, I am a fan of enough mediocre teams..... the Pacers, Hoosiers BBall and Football are more than enough mediocrity....hell, my Irish can't even achieve middle of the pack anymore......lord please don't let my Colts start settling for it! lol

All I know is, Indy sure seems to win a lot of games in spite of their coaching, and none because of their coaching...... maybe they teach solid technique..... but preparation seems weak as hell, execution oftentimes is not there, urgency sure isn't....... seems like guys know it's no biggie when they screw up, no fear of being benched, etc..... aka accountability..... when was the last time we out-schemed any other coaching staff? maybe vs. GB, or Minny? When you have players saying missing the playoffs is no big deal, because it's the holidays, and there are more important things they can be doing..... that's not acceptable. This staff has bred a culture of "aww shucks, we tried real hard"
Could/Should the talent level be better? Heck yeah! but my god...... when does this staff ever seem to overachieve? Dumb play calls, poor clock management, lack of situational awareness...... communication issues (Chuck's we didn't mean to throw the flag to challenge, it just happened somehow, and they never were SUPPOSED to snap the ball on this dumb as all get out fake punt play) Always excuses...... never accountability. Tired of hearing Chuck tell us how great a team Jacksonville is every year.......

Toler, Cherilus, Irving, Sio Moore, Satele, Herremans, A. Johnson all sucked...... Gore, and DQ were pretty decent

Freeman was a good find also, as were Mike Adams, Walden...... and the Davis trade was a good deal for both teams..... as far as outside of draft GM moves

Oh, I give Grigson credit for the TY pick, was a good find. all his other picks were either pretty much no brainers, or avg. guys at best. Allen and Fleener was pretty good at the time......and Kelly looks promising. Haeg may turn out to be one of his highest value picks long term, I feel....... now Throw in Luck as well, solid choice (no brainer) Irsay pretty much predetermined that pick......that's what, 6 picks. out of somewhere around 35?

Draft is always a crapshoot....... but for a guy to have in 5 years, 2 first round picks, more or less, out of the league..... and an ENTIRE draft class not on his roster 3 seasons after that draft...... you fire that guy.

This makes 2 first round picks spent on guys who are not even in the league 3 years after being acquired.... not even on a practice squad. You can say Grigs has improved, but dang....... he had nowhere to go but up.....and he still isn't near good enough in my opinion.......
