  1. Mark just let it go

I remember late in the season, everyone wrote Manning off from playing the 2011 season except you and you insisted he would come back the last week. You're grasping at straws. He is not coming back. Everyone else for the most part is excited about the off season talking about free agents, other teams moves, potential free agents and then there is this.

  2. Profootballtalk is just referencing the Yahoo article, and Yahoo Sports is like the National Enquire of sports.

There are too many conflicting reports in regards to Manning's arm.

When asked about his arm, Manning simply said, "there's still work to be done". He says the same words after torching defenses, passing 6TD's in a game, and getting perfect passer ratings. The guy is a perfectionist.

I've also heard that he's been out throwing/overthrowing his receivers during workouts.

The lesson to be learned here is no one really knows. So lets just stop speculating, and just wait and see.

Right now we should be focused on Draft Day. Let the Manning talk rest for now.

What are you even talking about? You ask me not to talk about Mannings arm in a thread titled about his health? Good one. Also his arm isn't 100% that's what we do know.

  3. Well Lacey played pretty poorly last year and is not going to be a starting corner. . .The Colts have something like 9 or 10 picks in this draft (pending Freeney trade) so I am not concerned. That plus free agency + next year. Irsay said himself this team is a few years away.

  4. No, I've seen far more occasions where a team took a QB in the draft that was authentically good, only to put the poor guy behind a horrible line. The outcome is always the same, a broken QB with zero confidence. I dislike that idea intensly, and feel that we should be building out from the lines.

    Our O line isn't horrible

They allowed 35 sacks which in part is attributed to the QBs not having very good pocket prescence. In comparision, David Carr's line allowed 76 sacks his rookie year. This line has done well considering the injuries, poor QB play, and lack of chemistry. And the Colts have not addressed F/A or the draft so it will be much better.

  5. Really? The Colts D equivalent to the Ravens D? Another Nagta, Lewis, Suggs, Reed. Don't even say a Colt player compares to any of them.

Where did I say anything about the Colts D being equivalent to the Ravens D? Hello can you read? OP suggested what should we focus on the next coming seasons and I said address defense to have a ravens caliber D. Not take the current players we have and turn them into a Ravens caliber D.

  6. If you wouldnt take Marshall Faulk, Marvin Harrison, those two tight ends, that offensive line over Austin Collie, Joseph Addai, Clark, and our offensive line you are not really very good at judging talent.

Uh I wasn't aware that only the offense composed an entire team. I can do the same thing defensively but my point stands. Also you're assumption is in hindsight, Faulk was the only one of that group regarded as good.

  7. For the reasons you mentioned I told a Pats fan coworker that if Manning signs with Miami they would win 12 games next year. I believe they would be serious contenders plus the idea of Manning/Brady twice a year is awesome!!

What was his response? Im just curious lol
