This thread would be better if we were 8-9 games into the season. So far he looked good  but it’s been only one game.

Yup. Because we have only played one game. Do we really need to overlook a positive, based on future unknown results. ‘So far, so good’ may have been a more upbeat stance.

My board! Who we should have taken.

By all means you can enjoy all aspects of NFL fandem however you choose.

What I believe the truth is, if you sat atop the draft process and sat up your draft board and stuck to it, I doubt you mockers would very Rarely pick any of the players you say here.

And #1 this is because of how little you actually know about the individuals.

But by all means enjoy your fantasy.

     I know I try to!

  3. Every year now, it does make me laugh about the post draft comments. The ones that are way over the top, either too enthusiastic and over the top, or equally as pessimistic. You would think that educated people would eventually work out that the reality normally turns out to be fairly somewhere in the middle.

it is rather amusing right enough, especially those who boast a knowledge far more worthy of any General Manager.

    Tittersville, Arizona.

edit: sorry for that last comment. Received my first Covid jab today, and it may have rendered me a bit stupid.

edit2: Mrs Braveheart here. Ignore him, he has always been a stupid fool.

  4. I am currently running around my lounge banging my head on all five walls cursing the man we call ‘picker of trash’. I have set fire to all my Colts regalia (including my Tony Ugoh jersey) and I have emailed Bill Polian asking forgiveness for mocking his ‘great draft of the Centers’ in two thousand and bust.

Note: my wife has pointed out that I can sometimes over react. But anyway, I am done with this team forever. Be good everyone.....

I agree with most, just not on TY. He did get open some deep, but he also didn't get open deep at times. Most of his open moments were on busted coverage, or against man vs not so great CBs. He's still fast in general (wouldn't doubt if he's high 4.4s) and that's plenty to get "open", but he just doesn't have the size. He didn't need the size when he was 4.3s or low 4.4s.

And not sure why he doesn't think TY can be a slot. He's got plenty of speed left for the slot position, and his route running would create great mismatches vs LBs and SSs.

On Rodgers, I think he's a bit overly optimistic. I love his speed and athleticism, but his size is a real limitation. He'd do fine vs smaller WRs that aren't physical, but a big and/or physical WR would give him fits in a big way. IMO he needs to work on his body in the offseason. Depending on the team, or WR unit were playing, sure, but the wrong matchup would be scary. I do like him better as a CB than Moore (when he's moved from NB to CB).

So you don’t really agree with most?

How are you doing?   I rarely come here anymore, so I have lost touch with so many that I always enjoyed interacting with on here.  You being at the top of the list. :)     I hope you are well.

Hi pal. I am very well, and enjoying retirement in the South of France! Hope all is well with you and yours! Still hoping to catch another game in Indy when the time is right!! Hopefully we can meet up this time!!! All the best to you for 2021, and hopefully we squeak a win on Saturday.

A blatant disregard for the integrity of the game.

Totally agree. Why should teams get an 'easier' game because of the scheduling? Rest your starters in week one or week 10 etc if you want to see the development of your younger players....

Disgusting, just like the Pollian shambles of 2009.

Alluding to Rivers not looking happy, I might be overthinking this point I’m about to make. If the Colts lose wild card weekend, Rivers might just be done. I know he’s 39 years old but maybe there’s a disconnect with him and Reich

Breaking: Potential HOF QB retires because he was pulled from the field on a random snap. I don’t blame him.
