Turay spent the weekend at Mathis’ mansion. Looked like a good time. He basically posted it all on Instagram lol

What’s worse than being forced to watch golf on TV? Coming to a Manning/Luck thread and scrolling through a page of Tiger Woods / Golf ratings discussion.
Not a ton to be taken away from Peyton’s comments, but I am happy he and Andrew have talked about preparation. Peyton was the master of preparation.

Man, a lot of people are hyping up the Cain Train.......hope he is half as good as they are making him out to be.
It’ll be REALLY difficult for him to surpass some Colts fans’ expectations, because they are already pretty lofty
Cain Train sounds cool tho. All aboard.

Chester Rogers has impressed me the more he’s played. I think the #2 spot is his. Honestly, have no idea about Ryan Grant.

Bleacher Report is saying that today, 5/17, marks 500 days since Andrew Luck threw a football in any meaningful way. FIVE. HUNDRED. DAYS. ?!
If I were an objective football fan looking at that, I’d be really surprised the Colts didn’t take a chance at a QB this draft.

If he comes into that 1st game, plays, AND has that full neard going on? It’s over for the Bengals

Good point, OP. I haven’t appreciated this enough. Reich and Ballard mesh so well it’s hard to imagine what could have been with McDaniels. Let alone to look back at Pags and Grigson and all that disfunction.
Everyone on this board knows how many 4th qtr losses we had last year. Even being on the safe side, I don’t think we’ll do any worse than 4 wins....
Surely....Hopefully....

Pumped for this season. It’s going to be interesting, no matter what. Just bought tickets to the home opener.
I’m on my phone or I’d add a couple pics of Quenton Nelson and Darius Leonard. Both are ripped and extremely fit. Yes, even Nelson. If you are an Instagram person, check them out.

Don't we have undrafted free agents starting on our team right now? I know it's unlikely, but any of these guys could make an impact on our team. I am happy w/ more picks.

Yes, I'm happy Seattle drafted him. It should be a great situation for him. Definitely rooting for this guy.

“I’m still amped up and excited.” - he said in the most mellow, monotone voice ever
-
Saints just gave up A LOT for this pick. Wow.

I love watching the players and families go crazy once they get the phone call. <3 Just so much joy. Dreams coming true. :’)
Can’t wait. Go Colts!

Andrew Luck stays in tact all season. If Luck can come back healthy and look good throwing TDS, it’s a win in my book.

I wish I had Eric Ebron’s confidence regarding this shoulder.
Andrew will most definitely be back...sometime...My guess is by training camp he’ll be throwing real footballs.
I’m getting 2-4 emails about buying season tickets PER DAY. They never did that in the past to my knowledge. Just for the conspiracy theorists out there.

‘35 years’ patch does seem very silly. I realize they are trying to get people excited, but just seems desperate. Maybe there is some significance I’m missing.

Woah. I was really foolin’ myself thinking he was ready to go last year. Bb is looking good!

I know this sounds silly for a long snapper but he better show marked improvement this year. last year his snaps were slow and on PATs/FG off the mark.
And not to say he won't improve... it's like anything else, it takes practice.... lots and lots of practice.
I don’t really have feelings about this. But FYI, he has been putting in off-season work with Rigo, practicing snaps and “building chemistry.” Rigo has been posting Instagram videos of them working out and practicing punts together.

Sounds like Rams are considering a trade. Rams, Jags, and Browns out here trying to collect players like it’s Madden.
He’s not worth it, IMO.
Added: Also seeing a lot of stats showing that Eli struggles when Odell isn’t on the field (not really surprising.)
It would make even more sense for them to take a QB if they trade Odell. Kinda like wasting Manning’s final years, in a way.

That is not what he said. How do you come up with that?
Since you asked...
For me it’s Kevin Bowen’s tweet. The tweet specifically makes it seem like Irsay was speaking about off-season camp and Andrew saying “the hell with it.”
I watched the video, and after so many umms and uhhhs, it’s hard for me to focus.

that last one concerns me...seems to say he's willing to skip a step, and that's what set him back last time. Maybe that's not what he means, but I would imagine if Andrew Luck throws and feels there's a problem, he will shut it down.
Ditto, the last tweet about saying “to hell with it” and throwing is definitely not what AL needs or what this franchise needs. Really hope Irsay isn’t pushing that...

I voted Andrew Luck, because I love him as the QB of my favorite team and just because of who he is as a man. But outside of that...
Robert Mathis because he’s a baaaaddd dude and bleeds blue, through and through.
Eagles not going to whitehouse
in NFL General

It’s extremely unfortunate, I don’t think it matters to DT if the Eagles were kneeling, sitting, squatting, or standing in solidarity with a fist in the air. Any form of “protest” ie: not honoring the flag correctly in his eyes, (and to be fair the eyes of many who share his view) is unacceptable. I remember reading something about ‘honoring the flag with hand over heart.’
What a time to be alive. I’m 25 and I look at those pictures of Tommie Smith and John Carlos and think about how courageous and powerful their statement was at such a crazy time in history. Fists proudly in the air.
I think history will be kind to the NFL players and their cause.
