  1. ....... But I'm a :flyingelvis: fan for wanting Shipley to start haha

Now, let's see what you get called ColtsRule91

I swear to the Flying Spaghetti Monster that I want to scream every time I see a flying elvis in one of your posts, man. It just isn't right. I get more and more convinced that there's a pod person writing your posts this season.
  2. You guys are some of the most unhappiest fans I have ever seen.

I'd do anything to get rid of an aging QB with a huge ego and a coach that hates running the ball to replace him with a kid like Luck and a coach that is defensive minded.

It's for the future. Luck plays his butt off and still, there's something to be mad about.

Not all of us.  I'm actually pretty happy.  I just keep my mouth shut and let the critics have at it.  "Homers" aren't welcome around these parts.

  3. They only gave the team 5 days off

@KBowenColts: Pagano: “Obviously, a huge win for us moving forward heading into the bye week…Guys will be away for the next 4-5 days."

Um...okay? I wasn't really wondering about or questioning their time off... Five days is about what I was expecting.

But then the OP made it sound like they were packing up and moving away for six months.

  4. The majority of these guys are working pretty hard and some are performing at high levels. I don't believe that kind of performance can be maintained without giving them some kind of break. It can be incredibly helpful to take a break, decompress and reconnect to the people they care about. They could come back refreshed and ready to wage war. If they're so squirrelly that a break is going to do them in, they aren't going to beat the Pats anyway.

And as for the coaches, I don't think take nearly as much time off as the players. I'm not worried about them.

  5. If the poor decisions didn't cost us, wouldn't need to complain.

Every QB makes mistakes, but for some reason Andrew's really come back to bite.

Whether it's locking on Reggie Wayne & missing a wide open WR due to locking on Wayne or a bad overthrow that gets picked. Never fails they come at the worst time or just hurt us the most

C'mon, TK! You make him sound like he goes all Brandon Weeden out there! Put down the red kool-aid and come back to your apple juice.

Even though this is incredibly disgusting, I have a feeling that this is fairly take compared to anything else that's happened on a football field. But thanks for the stunning visual.

And isn't there video footage of A.Q. doing the same thing? I have a feeling they don't keep hankies stocked on the sideline.

  7. It horrifies me to think that such a classy guy could be punting for the Dallas Cowboys. Talk about bone chilling nightmares man. haha Jerry Jones loss is certainly INDY's treasure trove gain. Nice!

Pat couldn't exist in the sphere as Jerry Jones. Jerry wouldn't allow it. McAfee has a big personality and you know Jones doesn't allow anyone to detract from all the attention that is rightfully his.

  8. - Swoope (TE) I know this is a reach, but I have a feeling this guy is going to be another very good NFL TE who played basketball.  The reason being is he is so smart, so dedicated, and from all reports, just picks things up so fast.  I think he will actually replace Fleener or Allen as they won't be resigned.

I get why people say Fleener won't or shouldn't be resigned, but why wouldn't Allen? He's improving every game and he's playing an important part in run blocking. Allen actually considers blocking an integral part of his game. I'm not sure that the same can be said for all these converted basketball players/wide receiver hybrids/Jimmy Graham types.

I'm not saying that Swoope can't develop into something but I reject the idea of not holding onto a good player who's already producing.

  9. As much as I hate doing this, I feel compelled to post this bit from an Andrew Luck interview.

Luck is clearly the biggest soccer fan in the group, but as the game wears into its final minutes, the footballers seem to recognize kindred spirits on the pitch. There are particularly strong feelings about flopping, which all agree is largely absent from American football, with some exceptions. "I've shamelessly embellished a hit before," Luck admits. "But then you feel like an *."
