You know the questions will be asked this week, no two ways about it. I personally like that Irsay has been laying low and doing things behind closed doors mostly this year. That is how he was during the Polian years for the most part.
As long as Manning and Luck are both in the league, of course they will. It's part of the NFL hype machine. Just like everyone has to get up for Brady v. Manning MCMLVII because it's still exciting every stinking time. Because nobody's ever seen that matchup before.

The timing of Pep's firing is a bit odd to me. It almost seems like "the owner had to make news prior to Peyton's arrival back in Indy" kind of vibe
. I felt it may have been better to give Chud and the offense the bye week to get things going with a good grasp of any new things they want to do. That is why I feel the timing is a bit odd. Just my two cents.
He doesn't need to fire anyone to get press. All he has to do is speak in public. If he uses "Peyton" in a sentence, the talking heads (and some fans) will start frothing from the mouth like rabid animals. The lather would be hip deep in mere moments.

If people are waiting for a Jim Mora-style meltdown, I don't think you're going to get it. You should probably take Superman's advice and stop listening to the press conferences. If nothing else, this team sticks to their script.

thats not proof, people change their minds. its also what he has to say right now because he has a team to coach and a season to play. bets are off once they hit the offseason.
i know he has history in michigan, but he has history in indy and with andrew luck too
I didn't say it was proof. I said his statement may be based on that tweet. I'm fully aware that people can change their minds.

I actually did pick Denver to win the SB at the beginning of the season so my expectation from the beginning wasn't thinking we would win it all but I did think we would be a solid contender and be on par with Denver again like last season and on par with the Pats finally.
Yeah, I thought the Colts would be doing a heck of a lot better too. I realized I needed to recalibrate after the Tennessee game. I'll reassess if they ever decide to put a whole game out there instead of just a quarter or two. Right now I'm just looking for more than poop noodles.

I don't see why they couldn't wear an alternate uni design once in a while. It doesn't have to be a permanent change. Kind of like the Pacers with their flo-jo's or the Steelers and their prison bumblebees or the Packers' and their dot thingies.

I'm for whichever scheme stops the other guys from scoring more than the Colts. The 4-3, 3-4, cover 2, 46, 867-5309, whatever. Just do that thang.

First, a citation is not an arrest. According to the story, his passenger was arrested, he was not.
Second, take a chill pill. Chuck Pagano isn't in charge of how players live their lives. This isn't his fault.
Third, I honestly don't know if I could care less about this. Some (or maybe just one) of you are acting like he killed somebody.
I agree, but I don't think this is really about Bradshaw. This is about another opportunity to take pot shots at the coaching staff.
