Why is that? I know he was coming back from an injury, but everything I heard says he was improving as the season went along.

If they can re-sign him for a decent price, that's great, but if he wants number-one-bestest-corner-in-the-world money, then they should let him follow the money.
I feel like I was more impressed with Darius Butler than Vontae Davis last season.
There are too many visions of Vontae getting blown up by mediocre players floating through my mind.
Of course, the next question in my mind is how much of that can be laid at the feet of the front seven. Suckage on one end could mean suckage at the other.
Or maybe he kept looking for Tom Brady and got confused.
Whatevs. The final roster won't be set until September anyway.

I guess I just can't understand the psyche of someone who would want to do something like that. It's like someone speaking to you in a language you can't understand. What you say does make sense, even if it isn't comprehensible.
I don't understand it either. I watch a lot of true crime shows and I just can't fathom how people do the things that they do to each other. I wonder what it is that is so deeply broken in these people that they can do what they do.

As I said above, taht's what I don't understand. How is that craving satisfied when you drug the girl into having sex? It's one thing if she knows its' against her will. But how do you exert power over someone who is oblivious to the fact?
For guys who drug a girl unconscious, I feel pretty sure that this is all part of the power play. He removes her power as soon as he removes her ability to fight back. Now he can treat her body however he wants, in whatever demeaning fashion gets him off. Invite friends over, take pictures, you name it. And in the end, after she wakes up, she may not even be aware that something has really happened, while he knows everything.

While I'm in favor of the cut, I feel for the guy. It really sucks when your best effort just doesn't get it done. I hate to see any member of the Colts fail. I wish him luck with his future endeavors.

They'll keep notes on all these guys, and if any get cut during camp, they'll consult their notes to see if they should claim them off waivers. And even on into the future.
Also if the team starts dropping like flies like they did last season.

That's a bit misleading IMO. He didn't throw a pick against the Chiefs until they were down 31-10, and won the game, so I would subtract that from the analysis.
Starting the Patriot game with a pick deep in Colt territory is a different story. That set the tone.
Sort of like that first Broncos snap in the Super Bowl.
It's hard to get from under those mistakes.

Maybe he thought she'd be able to get real skinny and squirt through...The real travesty here is that the coach thought someone who is 5'2" 130 lbs was his best option as a goalline back.
Or they were losing anyway and it didn't matter.

Good for her. I still don't see women ever being seriously considered to play though. It's obvious that some can be just as passionate about football as men, so I don't know why she had to go out there and potentially hurt herself to prove it.
It could be about skill level. I'm not sure I'm familiar with the league she had been playing for, but I've watched some videos of women's tackle football. Most of the players I saw were downright terrible. Maybe she wanted more of a challenge.

At least she's actually serious. Much better than that woman who tried out at a regional combine last year. She was such a joke. I was so aggravated about that whole thing.
But back to the topic. Man, she was destroyed!

Everyone knows where I stand and no one has presented definitive evidence to change my mind. I think people are innocent until proven guilty, not guilty until proven innocent and that is the direction this country is headed and I'm sick of it.
I have personal reasons as to why I don't believe marti and am biased feel free to pm and maybe you'll at least understand why I am so passionate about it (it's loosely related and doesn't have to do with bullying or racism)
There's nothing definitive in that piece of junk to prove anything. A bunch if contradictory statements. You guys need to learn innocent till proven otherwise because that concept has started to go down the toilet with our society and the media. I don't think a bunch of masked faces saying contradictory statements proves anything definitively if you do then I pray you are not a politician

Just having read the quote, I'm not surprised by players being intimidated or tense around him. Peyton takes all of this very seriously and expects the same level of work from everyone around him.
I'm paraphrasing here, but I remember Dungy saying that Peyton wouldn't make a good coach because he's too much of a perfectionist. Players would never be able to meet his expectations. I could totally see that. He'd have to ease up some or he'd have a stroke or something.
