Good Riddance, I am over Pags and company.
-
Well, as usual we went to the grocery store to buy stellar food, and we came home with twinkees and a ding dong for a coach.
-
Where is the choice for all of the above?
-
I'm sorry, but anyone who is not thrilled for Reggie for finding a freaking job in the NFL after the Colts let him go, is not a true Colts fan and should be ashamed of themselves. I hate the Patriots, but jeez, get over yourselves.
-
I'm starting to hop on the fire Grigson bandwagon
Welcome Aboard, better late than never.
-
YaY! and there was much rejoicing.
-
WooHoo! Gore is going to wearing blue! Can we PLEASE dump Trent now? (once it is final that is)
-
Still remember people arguing with me after the trade when I said he looked awful. Man.... Wish I could dig up every single one of those posts
Me too, you and I were vindicated.
-
I agree with all of that, but to say our entire roster outside of luck are thugs is ridiculous
Perhaps a slight exaggeration, I agree....Unfortunately it's the bad apples that get all the press.
-
A roster full if thugs and criminals? I hope that was sarcasm
I'd say 50/50 sarcasm, although the thugs are "weed"ing themselves out over the past year or so. These guys are professionals, that DEMANDS a certain decorum. Getting busted for pot, beating up pizza delivery guys, rape, etc. is not acceptable, ever.
-
We have lost our status as one of the classiest teams in the NFL. Now we have a roster full of thugs and criminals. Andrew Luck, please be our saving grace.....and just say no.
-
I vote for crazy. Fleener is a tremendous asset to the team and seems to be durable, which is more than can be said about his counter-part. Fleener (or as the stupid auto correct likes to call him: Fleecer) needs to be part of the long term plan.

Hope you didn't watch #phonegate on celebrity apprentice this past week...
I missed that one....

That is completely besides my point. The point is Bob Kravitz cannot be blamed for the deflategate situation. He has a right to voice an opinion thanks to a little thing you have in your country called the 1st ammendment. Ultimately, his opinion of the matter has no bearing on the decision the NFL will come to as a result of the investigation.
He is a journalist. Giving an opinion is his job and right or wrong, it get's his articles hits. For him to be discredited he would have had to have provided wrong information, which he did not.
As an aside, can we PLEEEAAAAAAASE stop using the -gate suffix for every single controversy ever!
Hopefully after we are done with Kravitz-gate, Jackson-gate and gate-gate, we can stop using the gate suffix.
As for whether Jackson is as rude/crude as a typically New Englander, a quick check shows that he was born in FL, which as we all know is infested with East Coasters, so the answer to that question is: Perhaps.
For the rest, 11 out of 12 balls for the Patriots were not inflated to REGULATORY pressures. None of the Colts balls were out of spec, so thusly one team played within the regulations, one team (Uh-hm Patriots) did not. The NFL is investigating, and I am sure will do absolutely nothing about it. Which brings me to the next thought.....why the hell are we still even talking about this?
Nothing said here on the forum about this topic has ANY meaning what so ever, because you know what? They don't give a rat's rump about the fans, its about the money, and only that. Surely there are more important not to mention pertinent topics to discuss......like how bad TRich sucks! ;)

You would think with how much money these players were making, they could avoid situations like these. I mean, who just assaults a delivery boy over a parking spot of all things? I know if I made the kind of money these athletes make, I'd be on my best behavior and not place myself into questionable situations where it could lead to irresponsble actions.
Just goes to show how some of these guys (hopefully a small minority) live in their own little worlds. They don't live like the rest of us, and quite frankly, some of them are ticking time bombs. Sooner or later they show their true selves and end up in prison.
-
If we get much nastier, all of our games will have to be held in San Quentin. Maybe that's why the rumors popped up about moving the team to California?
-
Yes, go hooded, it is much easier to look the part when holding/beating people up like a pro!
-
It speaks to a general lack of discipline in the organization that these kinds of things keep happening. It speaks to the type of player that Grigson brings in.
I don't remember this kind of thing happening when Dungy/Polian were running the show...Disappointing to say the least.
On the bright side, team portraits will be a lot less expensive, all you need to do it go to the police sites and download the mugshots.

Zero....point....zero.
Ouch. Not a fan of John Belushi obviously.

Who's with me?
He had me at "Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor??"
Oh wait, wrong house.

Landry is definitely expendable at this point. That clip was evidence enough to confirm all of our suspicions about his "supposed" abilities. It would be one thing if this were an isolated event, but he has shown through the season that he doesn't have a clue.

My smart aleck remark? The Patriots are not a classy team. That is my opinion and if you think it is smart aleck that's on you. It was made on my thoughts and I really don't care if you like it or not. If you think the patriots are a classy team that's your opinion and I don't care to give you crap about it. I call it as I see it. If you see it different fine.
I can live with that, as long as you realize that it is your opinion. The way you state it, seems to impart that it is fact. To each his own.
In other news, I can't believe I actually defended the Patriots.....eeeewwwwww

Where did I say he gets a spot no matter? If you would read my comment I said he would have training camp and 4 pre season games to decide what he can and can't do. That is when it should be seen if he has anything left. He does not have to be force he once was to be effective. For you and anyone to automatically dismiss him is classless. He does deserve the opportunity to do the best he can do and if it's not good enough then do what is needed. To cut him before that time shows no class what so ever.
Whoa, Whoa, Whoa, back up the truck.
First off, my quotation of your smart aleck comment had nothing to do with any of that, nor did your response to the original person you had quoted. Do you hear voices in your head? I'm beginning to wonder.....Perhaps your screen name should just be Crazy1.

Why would Grigson have to explain anything? Did the Colts or Grigson do something wrong? NO. So why the hell would we care?
11 out of 12 balls were under inflated on the Patriots, none of the Colts were. The Patriots are the criminals here, not Grigson or the Colts.
