um, yeah, if you could just fire Chuck Pagano for us, that would be great. Did you get the memo?...

How so?
I can't go through every single discussion I've had with my dad since the surgery, so I am not going even try. Suffice to say, I trust what insight he has provided far more than the nonesense that the Colts have been spewing about Andrew's condition.
I hope Andrew makes a full recovery, but his recovery is not a sure thing. You know where I stand on his outlook. -
I don't think we should trade him, but should be aware he may never be as good as he was before the injury. Therefore, we should be open to better opportunities should they come about. Who knows, maybe Brissett might become our next starter long term. He certainly has the job for the rest of the season most likely.
(besides, if we need to trade him, that means he is irreparably broken, what team is going to want a broken QB?) -

because Luck got sore after throwing the ball deep for the first time in how many months? yeah, clearly that means he's done. I mean, that shouldn't have been expected, right? He shouldn't have experienced any soreness whatsoever even though that was his first time throwing the ball 40+ yards in practice since sometime late in 2016. Your father's clairvoyance is uncanny.
Yeah, his 50 years as a physician has really let him down in life....all that success, and his love for treating people must have went to his head.
The fact remains, he was spot on. Irsay....not so much. -

Well, I can say this. My father (a doctor in Indy) told me back when Luck first had his surgery, that he thought Luck was done for. Labrum surgeries don't always pan out, he told me. So far, he has been correct. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Luck, if not completely done for, comes back a shell of his former self.
Looks like my father is a lot more on track than most.

We need Chuck and Chud gone ASAP.

Luck isn't playing until week 17.
When will the fans realize our owner lied right to our face?
I told you guys a long time ago that Luck would be out far longer than expected, but nobody wanted to hear it. I still am doubtful he will back at all, at least as good as he was prior to the surgery.

Agree about ticket sales, especially over the winter when there were season tickets for sale. That is when Irsay indicated that Luck would be ready for the season. I disagree that Luck will never play again, he will play this year but i wont be surprised if its week 7 or 8, maybe later. There was little chance Luck was going to be ready to start the season though.
I hear you. My main concern comes from what happened after his injury. If memory serves, he was receiving injections prior to every game in 2015, and those kind of injections are very harmful for the surrounding tissue. Since a labrum cannot heal, it can only be anchored, if the surrounding tissue that the anchors are put in is not healthy, the repair will not be as good as it could. Time will tell, hopefully he fully recovers, but I am bracing for the worst.
My father, a doctor in Indy, has speculated that Andrew will need a shoulder replacement, and I tend to agree with him. But we'll see......

The only thing that concerned me a little is that Jim Irsay came out and said he expected Luck to be back around the start of the season and hypothetically mentioned week 3. If there was no setback I wonder why Irsay's time frame was so wrong.
It's not that his time frame is so long, it is that he has been lying to us from the beginning. Ticket sales were probably the prime motivator. I don't expect to see Luck again, ever. I have the suspicion that his shoulder is not repaired, and will probably medical out sooner rather than later, but that is just me.
-
It is moot, IMHO, Luck is not going to return from this injury. Brissett might very well be our future QB as I suspect Luck will medical out.
Before you dismiss me, consider this...
-Luck had shots before every game in 2015, that is very harmful to the tissue around his shoulder.
-The labrum is not something that heals. It is being held in place with anchors, but will never be as good as an un-damaged shoulder.
-The Colts organization has never come clean about Andrew's condition. Is it possible that the reason they do so is because they need to sell tickets? hmmmm
Time will tell, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if we have seen the last of Andrew. What sucks for him, is that he is probably looking at a shoulder replacement in his near future.

There could be a tie...
That's looking more probable by the moment, but then again, someone on the Colts will do something stupid and give the game away.

He's old...He's too old, look at him...he's old.

This guy doesn't remember who just kicked his tail?
Apparently his mind was 200 miles away.

So does Pags have the record for the most blow outs yet? I believe he is up over 40 now. Unfortunately, they are losses, not wins.
-
It gets worse, apparently we lost to the 49'ers too. Pags said so in his presser, so we are now 0-2.

So yeah, I'm thinking that Morris might have been a better choice......

Burn baby burn!

I think it shows we are pretty much where we left off last year. And the year after that. And the year after that. And....

Although Cleveland lost today. They played a decent game.
Well, on the positive, we play them in a couple weeks, and both teams can't lose.
Any news on hooker yet?

Well crudmuffins. I guess we'll never know what he could have been. In a game where 10ths of a second matter, he'll likely never be as fast as he was prior to today.
