Well, everyone gets a primetime game on Thursday night, so I'm not arguing that.
Two things going against a Sunday/Monday nighter - Indy is a small market first of all, and secondly the networks want winning teams. Monday night games are decided when the schedule comes out.
We could be flexed for a Sunday night game if things go right.
We'll get a sunday night game and monday night game we don't bring low numbers in

I’ll be surprised if the Colts get a Monday night game.
Why? The colts are a good franchise we're not like the browns, jags, or tampa bay who nobody cares to watch we will get a primetime game

Kinda surprised Castonzo isn’t on there. He played his best football this year and was one of the better LTs in the league.
Defense only

You can’t belittle 6 rings. If it’s what you need to do to win, do it. Luck would still make those crazy plays too, just have a bit more of a gameplan and more fluid offense.
Brady has 5 rings

So we still have 4 teams looking for coaches.
Tennessee is out (actually never in)
Likely candidates:
Colts: McDaniels - Vrabel
Giants: McDaniels - Patricia - Wilks - Shurmur
Lions: Patricia - Vrabel - Shurmur
Cards: Shurmur - Wilks - Munchak
Unless Munchak, Vrabel or Wilks is signed, seems like at least another week of these four teams waiting.
Depending which of the playoff teams lose next Sunday, it may drag on till after Super Bowl Feb 4.
A lot can change over that time span.
Lets hope Irsay and Ballard can land a big fish, and not have to settle for the bottom feeders.
Wilks is staying with the panthers

If you're so convinced Pagano was soft as the HC, where was that soft approach on Quincy Wilson?
Naw it was a dumb approach tho

I’m not buying that the Colts wanted an offensive guy. Goes against everything Ballard said about there being no pre-requisites for any of the candidates.
Can't believe everything they tell you... we tried a "defensive minded coach" and it didnt work plus our rushing defense has improved alot so I can understand them wanting a offensive minded coach to atleast get our running game going to help luck out

Chud was supposedly going to the Panthers. But everyone thought Chuck would be the Ravens new DC too, and that didn’t happen.
Chuck could've taken the job but he didn't for some reason maybe to take a break from coaching

Unless of course the opportunity presents itself to slide back just a few spots, get your guy who isn't a QB or RB named Barkely & add addition picks... Then its genius...
Just get the o lineman you need first in the draft and everything else will fall in place
-
No it would be stupid to trade away the 3rd pick
-
Moore really didn't show me anything he looked lost most of the time
-
Yeah he knew he was gonna get fired no need to sit and wait might as well take the next job
-
Chiefs defense really laid down in the 2nd half they couldn't tackle slow tank henry for nothing
-
Pettine as DC???? Hmmmmmm

John Harbaugh wasn't 56 years old...he was still climbing the ladder he just skipped a few steps...Toub has never climbed the ladder....just saying...
Not every head coach will start young age shouldn't make a difference whether they deserve the job or not

Why would anyone want a 56 year old Special Teams coach to be our next Head Coach?
Give me McDaniels or Nagy all day long.
John harbaugh was a special team coach before becoming a head coach....so it's not farfetched as it sounds

Maybe you others think he's a "big meany" and not nice enough to be in Indy.
Btw he must not suck too much he's prolly the most wanted coach the past few seasons so I'll go with what the pros think not everyone on here.
I don't care if he's mean or whatever....he was wanted back then too and he had a head coaching job and he was trash at it ya'll stuck on the success the patriots has had with their system but it doesn't mean it will work here indy

The hate for Josh is unreal on this forum lol you can use any excuses you guys want it's all because he's from the NE
No.....it's because when he was head coach before he was horrible, very horrible at it and we don't want that

What does one have to do with the other? Green hardly played corner during the season. Wilson was hurt most of the first half of the season. They weren't competing for playing time.
Not really injury report wise he only missed 3 games due to an injury other than that he was a healthy scratch for the most part and this article here tells it https://www.indystar.com/story/sports/nfl/colts/2017/11/27/quincy-wilson-still-isnt-sure-why-hes-not-playing/898387001/
What is really sad if melvin never gotten hurt I don't know if we would've seen wilson play at the end of the season
Rest In Peace, Edwin Jackson
