Huh?
The official depth chart is empty...
But when Smith threw deep Hooker was there like a free safety. When Washington ran the ball Geathers came up to make a play like a string safety does. What makes you think they’ve switched? I don’t think they have....
They did switch I was at the game yesterday and week 1 you can see it when aj green caught that TD geathers was at the FS spot and hooker at SS look at it again.....it wasn't like that the whole game but it happened from time to time
-
He did alright he didn't let anything deep get past him....I just don't understand why hooker is in the SS spot and geathers is in the FS spot they need to switch

Bengals- L
Skins-L, mostly because of how AP and our run D looked last week
Eagles-L, their D is too good
Texans-W, toss up game at home
Patriots-L, Brady vs our defense=loss
Jets- L, second road game in a row against a surprisingly good team
Bills-W, home game against maybe the worst team in the league
Raiders-W, they are not very good
not wanting to be overly negative, but thats how i see the first 8 games for now. 3-5
Really now?

Ok, Webb and Clark are out this week. We have no tackles, the ones that will play will taste like chicken to the Redskins. Braden Smith will be used out of position at RT most likely, and Haeg isn't good at all. The pass rush will destroy us. The interior line may be able to hold their D_line somewhat, but we can't defend their pass rush.
No clark practice this week he's good to go

I can't even take this seriously. You must of never watched a Chiefs game. He carried them with his mobility and accuracy. You must not watch anything besides Colts games.
He only ran when no one is open smith is not that type of qb to use his legs that often he's nicknamed captain check down for a reason he's not that big of threat do your research

This is a very poor matchup for the Colts. I don't believe we are going to lose every game or anything, but they just match up extremely well vs us. Alex Smith is a lot like Russell Wilson in he's mobile and accurate, but with a better O-Line. They have Peterson, who seems to have a year left in him (all he needs is one more game at this point to affect us), Reed and Thompson are healthy and mismatches against us in the passing game. We have no running game and they have a top D-Line. It's in Washington. We also have very little pass rush.
Like I said before, Luck will have to carry the team again, except we're against a much bigger mismatch at QB than Dalton. They shut David Johnson down, we aren't running the ball. This match is a trap game for uninformed Colt football fans who are optimistic, and it will be very difficult come Sunday.
What?????? This is why I can't ya'll serious about football....smith is nothing like wilson....smith is on the wrong side of 30 he's not that mobile and he's only accurate on short passes

This will be the type of game we will win just wait

FULL participation...but ok. My only point in this thread was that it seems the coaching staff may be down on Ridgeway. 100% speculation on my part. I may be wrong. You obviously disagree and that is perfectly fine your entitled to your opinion no biggie.
Ridgeway is fine you don't know the coach's gameplan it's just your speculation

That's not true. Read my reply again. We went into last week's game with 3 DT's = Woods, Autry & Stewart. Ridgeway was inactive. This week with Autry out we would still have 3 DT's = Woods, Ridgeway & Stewart. So....my point was the coaching staff must not have much faith in Ridgeway bc they were ok going into the game last week with only 3 but this week they are making sure they have 4. Like I already stated, I understand the logic though.
You do realize stewart was on the injury list too right? He's not guaranteed to play either

Yeah, I know Ridgeway is healthy and Autry is banged up. However, last week we went into the game with only 3 DT's because Ridgeway being inactive. So if Autry missed this Sundays game and we didn't elevate Ward we would still be going into the game with same number of D-linemen as last week. Which tells me that they don't fully trust Ridgeway. I understand the reason behind the move, just don't think it looks good for Ridgeway. I hope he balls out against Washington though.
They did it because autry is hurt and probably won't play it's simple doesn't make sense just have 2 DT'S active on gameday

Colts haven’t beaten
since the drafting of Andrew Luck. Until that changes, I will always circle that game as an L no matter how bad their WR group is or whatever other narrative the media makes to uplift Tom Brady’s legacy when they win games
Skins defense looks great, Alex Smith looks comfortable in that offense.
Houston is a toss up cause Watson looks shook.
Philly I’m circling as an L too. Whether Carson or Foles play, feel like that defense will win them the game. That defensive line is filthy
Now, clearly I’m very much hoping I’m wrong and the Colts win at least 3 of the next 4 but it’s just too many question marks for me.
But I’ll still be in front of the tv with my Apple juice cheering them on win or lose
Of course Smith was comfortable their running game worked for them once that get shut down Smith will go back to captain check down plus the redskin defense didn't have to do much arizona o-line is trash and their best wr is like 15 seasons in the game
We can beat houston since their secondary is trash and watson is not who everyone think he is plus it's a home game they only won there like 2 times out of 28 lol
Philly will be the big test....in philly against that tough defense but hopefully we will have the right gameplan to stop them since frank is familiar with their offense and defense

It was 24 unanswered but who is counting? Smh
That fumble doesn't count against the defense

We can fix the running game next draft. We can spend a couple High Draft picks on Guards AND take a RB very late...yeah that's what we should do.....AGAIN. Lol
Nothing wrong with that even tho we were missing our 2 starting tackles and runningback....it's just week 1 calm down
-
Again....it's just one week 1 the browns are on the verge of winning their first game calm down
