  1. I would assume Ballard is trying as we speak. The Guards are slipping away fast
  2. https://twitter.com/rapsheet/status/1652340855770959873?s=61&t=pY1uS5n6JgnikELv7qQZPQ Run in for the top picks! Edit: sorry doesn’t know how to add Twitter links.
  3. At least you guys have Justin Jefferson. I can’t remember which game I saw last year, but he was an absolute beast! I could hardly believe my eyes, just wow. Edit: I think it was against the Bills
  4. Wow, reading through some posts on this guy you would think that the consensus is close to him becoming a bust, confirmed! Let’s give him a chance to play first, I would say.
  5. Hmmm, the only one I can think of is Thomas Bjørn but I don’t follow golf enough to know whether there might have been others.
  6. I hope today gets better for the Vikings! The only well-known NFL player here in Denmark was Morten Andersen who was a kicker for Vikings at one point. When I started to watch NFL games here, one of the Danish tv hosts was a huge Vikings fan. Normally you are obviously not supposed to show that as a tv host, but these guys running the tv show back then was just enthusiastic NFL-nerdy guys so nobody cared. It was wonderful. Unfortunately, most people here in Denmark are Patriot fans. I suppose they just wanted to root for the winner, but it still annoys me!
  7. Thanks a lot for your thoughts on this. Yes, I think that Richardson's young age and limited QB coaching so far is a big reason for hope here. All else being equal, there is much less chance of a 23-24 year QB to be able to change bad habits than a guy that is turning 20 next month. I also loved his comment about Tom Brady and never stop to improve because there is always the risk of some of these young guys having the NFL as the life time goal and some becoming slightly complacent when they are finally drafted. Finally, I think it is a huge help that everybody know that he is a bit of a project from the owner over the GM and HC + staff to the fans and media. There shouldn't be a lot of bust pressure if he doesn't become elite the first two years.
  8. Damn, just saw some highlights on YouTube. This kid has a knack for getting the ball, looks very skillful. Love looking at his game. Also, soo nice to go full skill at WR. Maybe Ballard wasn’t in the room when he was picked! (Just kidding of course)
  9. Reich and Luck was a good fit. Maybe Ballard and Irsay was counting on exactly that when they hired Reich. That whole plan went to hell of course when Luck quit on the team, and the perfect fit between Reich and QB never materialized again. But that is water under the bridge now, fortunately.
  10. To the bolded, I don’t believe so at large. I just think people are trying to get some hope going that the accuracy issues are either not as critically bad as some of the most negative reviews suggest or that there is hope to get it fixed based on what other similar QBs have been going through. We obviously won’t know for some time how fixable the flaws is, but I wanted to get your opinion on this question: So you see his technique/mechanics being worse on the short/medium range than the longer throws where he seems to more success rate? I guess I might have to go back and re-read your draft review one more time.
  11. We need young WRs to build chemistry with Richardson for the future, so maybe. But important that the team is not being build to peak to early before Richardson is ready, so Hopkins doesn’t make sense to me.
  12. Irsay is really enjoying himself these days - that is a very good sign that he is pleased with the direction the Colts are going in.
  13. I didn’t have time to watch the presser before now, but I don’t think he was that harsh or rude to be honest. However, I would always advise that a person in front of the media should try and explain why they are not going to answer the question. There can be many reasons why but at least give the media something to work with. Never ever give a talk-to-the-hand, so i guess we can agree that Steichen could improve his media handling here. But we are getting way off topic…
  14. Are you following that? I don’t think I’m ready for a Reich speech to be honest, I’m still having some PTSD after the Wentz fiasco. Probably unfair to blame that on Reich entirely but I can’t help myself.
  15. I decided to just go to sleep without setting an alarm. But I didn't sleep well. After @Superman mentioned how it would be difficult for him to re-watch the tape of Levis (a red flag for sure! ), I got completely stressed out about whether Irsay might be forcing a pick of Levis. So I just woke up in the middle of the night, checked the time, and immediately switched on the phone. A few minutes earlier, Colts had just picked Richardson - and I was over the moon to be honest!
  16. Elevated and relieved! Believe or not, I actually woke up in the middle of the night (here) like a few minutes after the pick was in, kinda crazy. You can see my comments on the first page of this thread!
  17. Yep... If you see my current avatar, my comment was also more about me starting to let go of the past and embrace the future!
  18. Hmmm, I might have to change my avatar during 2023! @stitches
