I just listened to the presser and I got the same impression as Zach Hicks to what Ballard was trying to say with the “we only won 4 games last year”. Ballard did also mention a new head coach and if you have been following the NFL just a little bit you should get it. I think you have to be a bit dense to come up with that tweet Holder did, if he in fact believe it itself and have not just done a copy/paste from Taylor’s agent. Which I can unfortunately not rule out anymore, sigh…

I would be highly surprised if Taylor decides to play in four weeks after all. Mentally speaking, he is gone.

What we touched upon @Superman - I still think the guaranteed money will be the major hindrance for Taylor. Nobody will give him what he demand.

The only circumstance where I would want a team to truly tank is if you are in dire need of a franchise QB and you believe strongly in one of those that you can realistically get in the upcoming draft. Like somebody projected to go in the top-top of that draft. I wanted the Colts to tank like crazy ever since Luck quit on the team. Yes, I’m dead serious about that.

Unless there is something up with that ankle, maybe Taylor doesn’t trust fully that it won’t cause problems again in a nasty way. Something doesn’t compute here … and at least one theory could be that he really don’t like to play again without guaranteed money, and lots of them…
