But if Steelers lose(we'll know the result), all the Colts need is a tie to make the playoffs. Wont have to win to get in at that point. Not that we would be playing for a tie.
Nice information to have, if you're the Colts, in a tight close game late.
We wouldn’t be playing for a tie… until we needed to not play for a win. Late overtime, work that clock and don’t force anything. -

Steelers game has no impact on the Colts as the Colts own the head to head tie breaker with them.
it absolutely does if we tie and they/jags win as they would have 10 wins to our 9.
if they lose, we make the playoffs with a tie.

It’s simple for the colts if the Steelers lose. Win or tie.
but I’d prefer to just win and let the rest play out.

It’s a good thing we’re playing at home. I hope the Colts fans turn up the noise when Stroud is on the field.
Needs to be a playoff atmosphere. No reason for it not to be.- 1

i dont think the colts are far off at all . i just dont get to excited with some of these wins vs bad teams when we dont look great beating them . upgrade pierce get another tight end and i think the offense is good . the defense we need better cover linebackers and more depth at safety and pass rush .
im not sure they need more depth at pass rush, they just need a more consistent rusher that is so sought after in this league. We may be able to develop Dayo into that, but i think Paye doesn’t have the same ceiling. They have been really good this year at times, and other times seemingly can’t get pressure. However, better coverage and scheme would help that, which those did no favors during those times of the d-line going lull.
I doubt they’ll make moves at defensive back in the form of a big signing that is an immediate starter, but if they do, I would prefer it to be at safety. I think we have some good young corners that are getting better and will continue to. Linebacker is pretty thin. Speed continues to disappoint me, and I cannot imagine I am alone in that thought. He’s fast, but he misses tackles and makes some serious mistakes seemingly every game.

I don't see them beating the Chiefs today
I can’t either. But stranger things happen. -

If Jacksonville would've lost today, they probably would have but since they can clinch the division with a win, they'll probably have us all play at the same time.
It could be a play-in game, with the rookie of the year highlighted in. I can’t imagine that would be trumped. -

something is off with this team you could be right . seems like they have potential but something outside of QB is missing
A dynamic qb can change a lot and elevate everyone around him to look like pro-bowl players. They need to keep bringing in weapons/developing what they have. I would like to see a new defensive mindset and add some talent at all three levels there. I don’t think they are as far off as you think. Compiling a winning season with a backup this season is a serious boost to a franchise that needed to get some momentum. Regardless of what happens next week, and the weeks after if we would win, it’s going to be an optimistic offseason for the Colts.- 2

Colts just have to make them drive to under a minute.
huh?
two minute warning with zero timeouts is kneel outs if we recover onside kick.

Imagine quitting over a legit good call from the officials
i quit mine, but for traveling and young children reasons. Can’t imagine not going because of refs. I liked playoff priority. They’ll regret it when that time comes.- 1

This nonsense PI call is why me and my family will NOT renew our season tickets!

He cost them playoffs, lousy coach Probably means keeping Fields too. Bears will be stupid again and trade pick unless take Marvin at 1?
trading back from #1 in consecutive years and stacking a boat load of picks to fix a bad roster is not a bad strategy. They are winning some football games. Giving him another offseason to build the defense and give some help to the offense/add picks for the future is the right move, rather than blow it all up. We know what caliber of defense he can put on the field. -

Colts are not in good shape if this stays a one score game.
lol. Wut?
Here comes Chloe with the pessimism again.
they are moving the ball on offense. We will have a chance or multiple chances to win this game regardless of what happens this drive and regardless of if it stays a one score game.

We’ve got their defense where we want them. A stop/turnover here and we are sitting pretty.

Out of nowhere, we decide to be aggressive and bring the heat on 3rd and long, on the first drive. Give me a break Gus.

Seems so. Why is that?
Direct reflection of a faltering society in my opinion. Biggest league in the U.S. with high stakes and competition. Guys are trying to get a leg up (using ped’s, gambling, etc) to make as much money as quickly as possible. Ease of gambling has not helped anything but casinos in this country. Return to violence throughout society, so the domestic violence/beating the hell out of others is another direct reflection of society’s attitude.
Covid made people crazy. Anyone that works with a small sample size of the public knows this. People. Are. Crazy.

Oh yeah, Lammons assaulted a man in Vegas and Chris “high character” Ballard thought he was just the Horseshoe Guy we needed.
let’s be honest… it’s getting harder and harder to put a full roster with men that can stay out of trouble. Look around the league.

im fully aware of how rare they are. We were a 1 point favorite to open. Now a 1 point underdog. This could go down to the wire and into overtime. With the stakes on the line, it won’t be easy for either team.
and that’s not what you said. You said the Steelers game had no impact. It does. Will it? Probably not. But if the game comes down to a multiple possession game in overtime, then the Colts strategy can and should change entirely, unless the Steelers win, which they would already know the outcome.
