Should GB go for 2?
At some point they may have to. But an extra point and a fg next drive makes it a two score game if they can get a stop.

Love is just standing in there and putting the ball through windows with Nick Bosa crashing down.

Perfect example why I'm not a fan of cutting back inside on a foot race you are losing... Keep up the sideline, unless you are certain cutting in is open. He ran right into defenders. Use that sideline as protection, especially in a wet game.

SF might be done without Deebo.
Lol. You are so quick to write teams off mid-game.
Two plays later. Up 1 -

And throwing mechanics
Yeah. I didn't clarify, but that's what I meant by arm. Love has a strong arm, but the way he releases (and throws like the one last week) are what I was implying with the arm similarity.

He looks a lot like a younger Rodgers.
He's got a similar pocket presence and arm.

Just as I was typing what a sloppy boring game Packers score a TD.
Still a sloppy game. That safety slipped right on his face on the td throw.

It is obvious that Jordan Love sat under Aaron Rodgers... That throw/penalty was very Rodgers like.

I guess we could do that, but I think Steichen would like him to stay for AR's sake - consistency and all that. I think the Colts would block a lateral move and either promise Cooter playcalling duties down the road or promise to let him move on (to another OC job with playcalling duties) after another year or two.
I think staying with Steichen would be probably a much more comfortable position of stability considering sirianni isn’t necessarily even guaranteed tomorrow.
That would be adding a lot of pressure to go to Philly on what could be a one year deal with no assurances.

I don't know if including playcalling duties would raise it above being a lateral move, but I guess they could tag on Assistent Headcoach if they REALLY wanted Cooter.
I found some information on the rule change from 2020. Looks like the language was exclusively for position coaches moving up to coordinator, and didn’t require playcalling duties. I don’t see that being a thing. I don’t think he can go anywhere other than head coach, unless we grant it to him (like the chiefs with Bieniemy)- 1

LOL. Nick can’t stand it. If you can’t live without Steichen, take Steichen’s OC… What a mentality. What a mess.
Can the Colts not block this from happening?

Ravens defense impressive. Fast, aggressive. Bringing pressure to Stroud from all angles, playing receivers tight.
Gus needs to put this game on repeat all offseason.

Underdogs.
just to show this board we aren’t that far off.

But that's a good thing, IMO. I don't want to be in a cupcake division, I want our team to have a significant measuring stick opponent every year, and twice a year is even better. I want us to be striving to keep up with a team with a hotshot young QB. The more, the better. It raises the bar for our own team.

For the last couple years, yes. And eventually it's going to be in LA for this very reason, I think. I know Indy does a great job, but it seems like they've built the SoFi compound and surrounding area in a way that it can provide all the stuff that's available around LOS.
SoFi is dominating the big events coming up. Olympics, Super Bowl. Now the Clippers new stadium “intuit dome” is adding to the neighborhood. Have you seen the plans on that place? Steve Ballmer totally transforming how attending a game is going to be. -

They are going to move it to Vegas and see if the young guys can resist temptations as an extra layer of character testing or what??
The new scouts will be undercover strippers seeing what kind of information they can extract.
reminds me of the movie “the big short,” where mark baum (Steve carell) is asking questions to the stripper on his lap and realizes the housing market is a giant bubble. 😂 -

Maybe its because I'm partial to the draft...but the combine isn't the draft and IMO never will be. Right now it doesnt match the draft when it was just held in the basement of MSG.
I'm assuming there are plenty of other monetary reasons why a city would want the draft(mainly team reps, soon to be nfl players and their agents all with money in their pockets ready to spend).
Have you seen the turnout to the drafts the last few years? Huge economic boosts to the host cities. Massive events.
the nfl combine will die before it even remotely resembles something like that.

not a fan of media headlines like that. Apparently he’s a victim of being fired like Frank was. Neither of their next moves worked out, whereas the Colts move seems to be the correct one… but let’s blame the Colts- 3

If you’re saying Steichen is a better HC than Frank I completely agree. And I’ve been saying that for some time.
But if you’re blaming the 8 suspensions this year on Frank last year then you lost me. Or did I misunderstand your meaning?
I think you misunderstood.
I simply referred to suspensions and injuries for the fact that the team still had better success in the midst of them than they did last season. So the firing, subsequent hiring of Steichen and the moves made put the team in a better direction than they were in with Frank.

The interesting thing is several NFL teams want to cancel the event all together and the Players association wants to as well.
exactly. It’s moving more towards being done with than moving it around hoping for something similar to the draft. When more players use their respective schools pro-day, they’ll view the combine as a complete waste of time.- 2

No tinfoil needed. That’s exactly what they’ve stated
So was draft night until they started moving it around.
New York City in a cramped auditorium for a highly viewed event is not a great comparison.
it wasn’t central. There isn’t a world renowned airport in New York (quite the contrary) and it was an easy decision to capitalize off fans wanting to go to a primetime event. The combine has never been a primetime event, and likely never will be. It’s done on weekday working hours.

There is a difference.
When you are the one being confronted over posts simply made on the forum, you do notice a pattern from those who confront you.
OTOH, if you are not being confronted...and are the one doing the confronting......its weird to stalk posters you don't like and keep receipts about what they say on various threads to try to claim they are liars about their own opinion's.
i was making a funny about it. I’m not going to keep track of stuff that was said on here. I’m just here to white-knight for Ballard…since 2013. 😂
