U kidding?
Â
The Colts would have two wins this year if they didn't have Luck. I can't think of a better game changer in the fourth quarter in the entire league. "fairly solid" c'mon get real.
I disagree. For the Colts to become a real Super Bowl contender Luck is going to need to pick it up a bit. Eventually he will get there, but he's not at that level yet
-
Luck is going to need to step up to the next level next season. He's proving to be a fairly solid QB, but he wasn't drafted to just "fairly solid". He needs to step it up and become a game changer. I think he has the potential.

Bryant is a great talent, but is too much of a Diva. Too high maintenance. Dallas should trade him away.
-
Sorry, but Wilson has been better than Luck to this point in their careers by just about any statistical measure you want to use and it really isn't that close. Wilson has a higher QB rating (102.4 - 80.3), higher completion percentage (64.4 - 56.1), higher YPA (8.3 - 6.8), more TD passes (50 - 44), fewer INTs (18 - 27), and more yards rushing (997 - 620). Wilson also has the most wins for any 2nd year QB in history (23) with still two games left and is only the 3rd QB to ever throw for more than 50 TDs in his first two seasons joining Dan Marino and Peyton Manning.
For those calling for objectivity the facts speak for themselves. Luck might still end up having the better career but he hasn't up to this point.
See that? It is possible to be a fan of a particular team, but still retain some objectivity.

I would take Wilson every day over Luck. I'd have Luck back him up though.

>caring about what ESPN says
Actually it was official NFL web site stuff, not ESPN
-
Wilson's much better than i orginally thought, but he ain't no luck. RW is a game manager at best, not that's a bad thing.
Game manager? Not as good as Luck? Others disagree

Nick Foles.
Files has played well, but Wilson wins. Here's what ESPN says about him.. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap2000000292562/article/russell-wilson-nick-foles-peyton-manning-lead-mvp-race

Texans won't win another game this season.
-
you need a dictionary
Actually, you could benefit by looking up the word " objectivity". There's no doubt Wilson has played at a higher level than any of the other second year QB's this year.
-
That is opinion, not fact
That is a fact. No argument.
-
He played ok. But it was far from a clinic.
Of the four you g QB's the NFL made such a fuss about last year, Wilson is unarguably the best of the four. Not even close.
-
In an outdoor stadium, in cold weather, in a Super Bowl the Seahawks will win going away.
-
Disagree. They are pretty dependent on that 12th man.
Their record is 11-2. They have never been blown out. Their losses on the road were by less than a TD and extra point. Sure they love to be at home like everyone, except the redskins, but they can play anywhere. There's a different mentality there now than in the past.
They are the best team in the NFL at this time. Period.
-
If you can make the playoffs, anything can happen.
Uh, uh.....no.
-
Going to be tough to beat the birds in their own nest. In fact, I'm not sure there is an NFC team that can go in there and beat them. They sure aren't all that great on the road though. I wouldn't favor them over whichever AFC team makes it to the SB if Seattle gets there.
If Seattle makes it to the Super Bowl, they will win with no drama.
-
i hope those attending his clinic got their money back
Wilson played a great game. Seattle lost that game by giving up one long run on defense. Wilson is showing he's one of the very top QB's in the NFL. Without Wilson Seattle would be lagging in the hunt for a wild card.
-
If we're talking about bad attendance when the team is bad he has a point,
No he doesn't. That stadium is full and rocking even when they are bad. Most of their history they have been average or worse. It's always been known as a tough place to play because of the fans and crowd noise. Always.
-
Not happy or unhappy. Just noticing
-
The officiating is bad across the board in virtually every game. Clearly the disciple they now employ for poor officiating is not working.
-
So far Wilson is conducting a QB clinic in SF.
-
I'll give you unger. But other than him and ones I mentioned previously, they are just adequate. Not a game changer in the bunchUnger is top flight, Tate/Baldwin are really good. Because they aren't name players does not mean they are not talented, their O-line grades out positively in every metric.
Wilson is their game changer.
-
is that why he was fired?
The same reason just about every coach gets fired at one time or another.
-
Jake Locker has been a major disappointment.
He's struggled with injuries, but has demonstrated clearly that he can be very effective when healthy.
So...ummm Seattle clinched home field advantage?

So, are you an objective fan or not? Are you offended by my comment commending you?
