But to answer the basic question of the thread. Of course the Brady / Manning era is beginning to close. Both of those guys have only a few seasons left. Their best years are behind them. They both pretty much reached their potential. The window is closing on both as it does on all.

Jennings is a stud. He'd be a great addition to any team which is thin or even average at WR.

I refuse to glorify senseless violence so I will spare you the details. Let's just say I strongly voiced my opinion through unconventional means to a fellow patron that the colts have two trophies, superbowl 5 and the superbowl we won with Peyton Manning. Long story short, am I wrong?
I make it a point to not get my undies in a twist or into a physical altercation over semantics or other trivial matters. So, I would say you erred.

looking at all of peyton's losses in the playoff, the teams he lost to a lot of them when on to win the super bowl or got really close.
Any time a team wins a playoff game, they can say they got "really close" to the super bowl.
Think about it. If a team wins their division and draws a first round bye (like the Colts did a lot in the Manning era) then loses, they lost to the team that will play in the conference championship game. So there's a pretty good chance they lost to a super bowl participant.

he will be remembered like Marino. A guy that was one of the best pure passers of his generation but never got it done in the post-season save one season when his D carried him and he lucked out playing the awful Grossman in the SB.
But he once did get it done in the super bowl and may get a couple of more chances. So your point is flawed.

Without a doubt the biggest cry baby is Tom Brady. I've seen him curl up on the ground and go into the fetal position to draw a flag when a defender simply brushed by him. Then if he doesn't get the flag he goes into a hissy-fit with the closest referee.

This talk about Manning being a choker is ridiculous. In a team sport there are many moving parts and at any time any one person can fail to do their job and it effects the outcome of a game. Manning is one of the best QB's of his generation. He will always be in the argument as an all time great.

If Freeney does land in Seattle Paul Allen, the richest owner in the NFL, has a net worth of 15 billion dollars. I think he can afford to pay Dwight very easily.
Even paul Allen can't work around a hard salary cap. The Seahawks only sign Freeney if it makes economic sense. Seattle has a solid foundation of young players, but they will need to be paid better in the next year or two to keep them intact. Freeney may not make sense there. They need a dependable pass rusher who will be there for a few seasons.

Pats would have crushed Denver. Peyton Manning is the worst playoff QB of all time. Brady is 5-2 all time in the AFC game, that is shaky? ok.
Not even close. Ever hear of Matt Ryan?

Yeah his whole migraine thing is going to be a concern but I'm sure someone is going to take a look at him.
The migraine issue seems to be a thing of the past. He brings other baggage with him. He's not considered to be a
"team oriented" type guy.
He is a game changing talent and does things not many players can do. That being said, it's going to take 10 millions dollars a season to land him. The risks are too high for that kind of money

Seattle plays the 3-4.
No they don't

So you're predicting the Saints and the Vikings make the SB... Certainly bold
That would be kind of difficult seeing that they are both in the NFC.
what team will sign freeney

I think the Seahawks may take a hard look at him. They may have gone to the super bowl had they had a pass rush.
