Fairly well put together off-season. The only questions I'd have about this are as follows:

A- are you OK running with geathers anf Adams ad our starting safeties,  and would you be OK with the depth we have there?

B- are you convinced the Hayward can be successful on the outside or are we ending up with another Greg toler? What would be the contingency plan were he to flop on the outside?

C- who do we keep at center other than Martin? Or the other o line positions for that matter? With us picking up three new players on the line some guys will have to go.

D- what is the plan at TE? We'd have Allen as basically our only TE with any game experience.

E- what does our depth at WR look like?

F- who do you project starting at Ilb if dq gets cut?

Not necessarily disagreeing with anything here either, just interested in your thoughts on these issues.

great questions! but like i said this offseason will not fix all problems but...

A- loved what i saw from geathers last season, hopefully jordan can give him comp in camp but but thos ethree along with colt im fine with

B- i think he will do just fine plus he cant do anything worst than greg did plus we also have djoun who is still developing.. i think that would be a good room of corners with butler

C- Khaled and Nick sorry for the excluding those details but i dont see jonathan with the colts much longer and the OL i have us getting are all versatile

D- DA, Doyel, and with all of our weapons didnt really see the need for anymore TEs that simply wont get any touches

E- i thought about this too but id be fine w/ i also think our running game will improve tremendously so no need for anymore wrs tbh Hilton,Crief,Dorsett,Whalen, Bray

F- JF and i like sio alot and nate both are fully capable and we also have some young talent there

  2. Now before you get into my mock and start bashing it and so fourth this mock by all means will not get us to the superbowl! We have too many holes that this offseason could fix and not so much money.. Now with that being said i think in a year or two this roster could be elite we just need time and cohesiveness! Try not to be too mean..

    CUTS:

    Andre Johnson: (released today)

Bjoern Werner: (not productive and at times seemed like colts lost all faith in him)

    DQ: (or restructure, age)

    Art Jones: (or restructure contract)

    WALK:

Greg Toler: (I think injuries have held him back from his full potential)

Coby Fleener: (so many "coby fleeners" you can find anywhere but you wont find tight ends like DA who wants to block and catch)

    RESIGN:

Dwayne Allen: (I pick him over CF because I feel like Coby left too many yards on the field and when DA is healthy he is a matchup nightmare)

Jerrell Freeman: ( Played well last year pay the guy)

Adam V: (his name speaks for itself)

    Andrew Luck: (needs long-term extension)

Okay now time to get into the fun stuff.....

    FREE AGENTS:

Jeff Allen or Alex Boone: (either one would be fine with me fairly young and a upgrade at the guard position)

Casey Hayward: (Colts are in desperate need of a number 2 corner, him and VD will pair up very nicely)

Bruce Irvin: (not much experience but raw and athletic and upgrade from any OLB on our roster and at this point even Mathis...)

    DRAFT:

Round 1: Andrew Billings, DL, Baylor

Look the kid is a freak of nature at his size (6'1 311lbs). He has the ability to rush the QB and stop the run!! Henry Anderson, AB, then Langford can you imagine!?!?!?

Ever since Pagano has came here hes been dying for a GREAT defense of line; Im sure hes tired of going weapons first round time to get big and ugly.

Round 2: Nick Martin, C, Notre Dame

I think he will fall to us no extra moves needed. Hes not his brother but pretty darn good himself. He's very versatile but obviously we would use him at center maybe Andrew Lucks longterm C. Very physical and has ability to get to next level to block; love him in round 2 if possible for us.

Round 3: Victor Ochi, OLB, Stony Brook

Some people might not like this pick but hey the pass rushing class this year might all be gone in the 1st-2nd... Victor's strengths is his pass rushing skills though, his speed around the edge is impeccable! I think he could put on a couple pounds and be a very good player for us (or atleast better than Newsome or Werner)

Round 4: Jordan Lucas, S, Penn State

This kid is built like a football player man jesh! 6'1, 198lbs 4.59 40... Kid gets to the ball and is a good run defender. I can see us getting him in the 4th maybe just maybe our coach the db guru? remember him? Maybe he can polish the kid up... Lucas recorded 56 tackles and three passes broken up during 2015, but missed time with injuries. He didn't show an improved ability to create turnovers as a senior. Hopefully we can turn some of those break ups to INTs..

Round 5: Fahn Cooper, OT, Ole Miss

(6'5, 306lbs) He has versatile size and skills to be a backup guard or right tackle in the NFL. He played on the other side of go ahead 1st overrall pick this year. When Laremy Tunsil was hurt he even played some LT so obvious versatility at the T positions. Fahn started every game over his two years at Ole Miss, he would be a good back up at right tackle and with our new OL coach im sure he can polish the kid up.

    Round 7: BPA

I'd take a RB here but if that doesnt happen i could see ILB, OLB, or DB

  3. 1st I personally would never go RB in the first and i think Grigson even if zeke is there he will not take him based off his prior runningback mistake...

2nd I love carl nassib, 2nd round talent hmmm maybe but i think its a reach would love him in the third if possible but i think since you only picked up 1 OL in FA theres no way our first three picks wont be used on OL

3rd i dont see us going after CJ especially if you draft zeke? plus FA RB is not the way to go better to go after RB late in the draft hopefully we can find a gem

  4. Kicked out of New Orleans! I remember when he got the boot from Dallas the forum wanted him could he find a home in Indy the 27th ranked defense in the league? I like to think a lot of New Orleans issues defensively were personnel related no one jumps out at you or scare teams to make them game plan.

  5. In my eyes the colts defense last night was great until they got gassed at the end, young is good loved henry and parry!

1.Anyways Josh Robinson has to go asap Varga is better, sign Ball or bring up duron carter

    2.More Frank gore/Crief/Varga/TEs

    3.better playcalling/decisions

As you see not a lot of problems because I think the colts have just been unfortunate we are so use to blown plays by a defense hitting ty deep and comebacks and Donald brown fumbling on the one while Andrew luck picks it up and supermans into the endzone. This team is far from great but this also isn't a bad of a team as people make them out to be; just been very unfortunate. We have been a couple plays away from changing both of those games!! its week two R-E-L-A-X

  6. I've watched tape on him and I'm having a really hard time trying to figure out what the hype is about.. TCU game the center made him look like trash he had little to no motor and couldn't get off a block let alone cause a double team.. Granted he's a big fella and could be developed but do the colts really have time for that?? "win now" we are still waiting for Bjoern to reach his peak... id much rather have a guy like Michael Bennett great motor, gets off blocks, disruptive, can play anywhere on the line with his versatility.. he might be undersized but look at Aaron Donald 6'0 265 and made the pro bowl his rookie year just a thought... I do not want JP unless someone shows me different pls

  7. Without a doubt i think we need to go bpa in the o line department 1st round besides AC no one has a secure spot on the line. Second round we should probably go DL UNLESS we address it in free agency and if we do then we absolutely need a ILB who can stop the run and actually cover a tight end or runningback in this league..

3rd duke johnson in third?? unless we get murray (:

4th bpa safety even though the safety class is terrible this year

rest of our picks needs to be late round pass rushing gems/OL

also wouldnt be surprised if we got a kicker (bold prediction)

    Thought???

  8. Looking at the Colts the most impressive win might be the Bengals and that's without A.J Green playing; or maybe the win vs the Ravens but that's also not saying much.... Colts o line play is below mediocre, running backs below mediocre, defense mediocre at most-moments of greatness against terrible teams. I look at the colts and all I see is potential but shy away against any team that is above average... We will struggle in the playoffs and a lot of changes need to happen this upcoming offseason if we want anyone to take us seriously.

  9. I have never seen the colts run the ball this well despite Trent Richardson's inability to hold on to a football but I must say I liked what I saw. Refs blew the game at the end but Trents fumble was a definite game changer. Defense did ok questionable play calling on both sides overall game should of been ours. 0-2 not the end of the world!
