nice knowing you david

did he leave without a deal?

Im probably one of the few that actually would like dalvin at 15.. i rather do that then just draft any pass rusher not named garrett, solomon, Barnett, or kid from temple at 15 just because its a need, you don't draft like that. some of these pass rushers they are projecting to us to me are just not worth a 15 especially with this draft being so deep defensively. I forget the year but when we beat the bengals (not saying much) in the playoffs we were running the ball well with BOOM Herron and looked very dominate offensively with a mediocre defense. imagine with a real dominant back with andrew luck and our weapons already..long story short TAKE BPA!! even if it's a running back
-
guess this means no poe especially if jenkins is coming
-
welp there goes that.. jags are going to throw the bank at him
-
wow it almost feels like mr.ballard is reading the forums and doing what we ask

first off i want to start off by saying what a great read! but, unfortunately there's always a but.... i like raekwon in the third i've been seeing him projected around there for awhile now could be a steal. TJ in the first IMO is a reach especially at 14/15 and not to comfortable going in with that suspect DL but i do think the OLB look great in ur mock but there won't be any push in the middle for the olb to come home to
-
wow that sucks
-
Alright time to get to work Mr.Ballard i need you to nail this offseason
-
Ozzie is a genius! i'd love decosta maybe some ozzie rubbed off on him
-
no way foster falls to 14/15 and smoot in the fourth will not happen.. but the picks r awesome if that could happen
-
If you guys are watching these playoffs then you might have seen what i have and that is very very dominant offenses with mediocre defenses at most excluding the chiefs that were recently booted.. Ive seen Atlanta's offense with Julio and their running backs basically look unstoppable along with Dallas, & Steelers. All three teams with mediocre defenses that managed to go deep in the playoffs aside from dallas (first round exit (: ) With that being said heres my mock offseason strictly going off a copycat league while still focusing on defense as well...
CAP SPACE: $58M
CUTS:
D'qwell Jackson: $5.5M
Feel like we can get better play out this position for less
Art Jones: $5.15M
No explanation needed..
Frank Gore: $3.5M
Dont hate me I just think we could get better out this position for less..
CAP SPACE: $72M
RESIGN:
Robert Turbin: 1y/$760k
I believe Colts signed him on a 1y/760k last year and he's said that he wants to be here; I see the Colts giving him something similar to his contract last year.
Darius Butler: 2y/$5M
I see Mr.Butler playing safety for the Colts this upcoming season thats why he got the nod from me.. Played well during his time there and our safeties as of now is shaky.
Jack Doyel: 2y/4M
At times Jack Doyel looked like the number 1 tightend heck in my eyes he was.. Was Andrew go to along with T.Y he was our third down blanket he needs to be resigned.
Akeem Ayers: 2y/4M
Signed a 1 year deal last year good rotational player
CAP SPACE: $58M
FREE AGENTS: (Time to break the bank )
Stephon Gilmore (CB): 4y/$40M (10M)
Would be a great number 2, 15 games 5ints(career high) 12pdef 26 years old
Alshon Jefferey (WR): 5y/$75M (15M)
Proven big bodied WR would help tremendously and would make our offense unstoppable. I think he would leave too and get a chance to play with andrew luck? Plus i could be wrong but weren't they shopping AJ during the season? (lmk in the comments) Also a nice contract he can't refuse. also 26 years old
Zach Brown (ILB): 3y/$12M (4M)
Melvin Ingram (OLB): 3y/$42M (14M)

Obviously not the full roster id hope that with the little left over money i had over FA that we could get like a guard or a S but didn't seem realistic after the moves i made..Love to hear what you think all my numbers came from Spotrac.. On how realistic this all is is probably slim but i think this offseason could turn us around and make us contenders instantly..

just terrible

GREAT NEWS!! source: Jim irsay Twitter

don't forget butler is hurt (minor injury but still) then we have Djoun who hasn't seen much field... sign Antonio right now!

I must say fellow colts fans.. Im worried.. I tried to be very optimistic about our defense with a new DC and small acqusitions this year but after this Art Jones situation it got me thinking more. Our new and improve O-line/Offense won't mean anything if our defense can't get off the field. As of now I'm looking at a DB room that is very shaky besides Vontae.. Questions at ILB, who's going to start with DQ do we have any ILB that can cover etc etc. and our dline lord... Everyone in our division running backs are people to be worried about murray, ivory, lamar miller... They are going to run the football down our throats, Im not saying to doing anything stupid trade wise but this could be a long season.. I hope we are way better prepared than last year in some games. In 97 seasons of the NFL nothings changed.. DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS (p.s i know its early still we haven't even reached TC and I'm ranting but boredom strikes again)

Only surprises are D'Qwell and Arthur Jones being cut, and a lot of young LBs making the roster (hopefully with a lot of ST ability).
Dqwell our tackling machine? no way they cut him! i can see the art jones thing happening but then again when on the field hes our best run defender

Haeg over harrison, take away tyms and add one of the TE. With Allens history I can't see us just rolling with 2 TE. And I'm not sure about McNary I think it might be Sylvester (may be the wrong spelling...) and I'm not sure about keeping Jalil brown
this staff loves harrison thats the only reason i have him over haeg otherwise im with you on that.. i agree on the TE situation.. and donte toe phillip injuries neither are "injury prone" but i think 6 wrs might be a must.

Ya' got Denzelle on there twice? Is one supposed to be Haeg? Real possible final 53 - I'm not sure why so many don't think Trevor Bates will make the final 53. Obviously, the team initially has him above Maggitt and Thompson, as they chose to use a draft pick on him...
i wanted Haeg on there badly I was debating between him and Harrison but this staff loves Harrison so much
