My favorite part is he wore a Kunta Kinte shirt to the practice. The guy is a grade-A troll. It'd be like if I showed up to a job interview with a Donald Trump shirt. They're both people; no problem, right? Hmm...

Well, at least he didn’t pull out his Fidel Castro, “ Like minds think alike “ T shirt, when the Miami Dolphins scouts showed up !
This guy is either tone deaf about about PR and getting a job in a corporate environment , or he is improving his controversial brand. I suspect the ladder.
My other thought is how unprofessional it is to the scouts who took time out of their busy day to watch your workout, then you change venues at the last minute. I know he has problems with the NFL, but they paid him a nice settlement , and went to the trouble of holding this unprecedented workout. In life , we all have to compromise sometimes. This guy seems to want things all on his own terms. As we know in the NFL, if you have amazing talent like AB , you get many chances. When you are a 30 something back up QB talent, when the controversy outweighs the current talent, not many teams will bite.

Defense looked scary today.. and was it me or did Watson just look well slow?  Great job by your D!

He did look a bit slow today. They had most of their offensive lineman back, and we haven’t had many sacks except for today. One of our top defensive lineman, Michael Pierce was out today, but Decosta picked up two DT’s off the scrap heap, just like he did getting inside linebackers Bynes and Fort. The amazing thing is the defense has gotten better ! I think the key trade was getting Marcus Peters for a 5th round pick , and underperforming linebacker Kenny Young. This gives the Ravens three top press cornerbacks Humpheys , Peters, and Smith. These are top coverage guys allowing Martindale to blitz more. This defensive rebuild on the fly is almost as impressive as what Lamar has done.
I’m not worried about playing at New England in the AFC Championship. We are 2-2 up there, and could have been 4-0 in the playoffs. The bottom line is this is a young team, and they need to be concerned about stacking wins, winning the division, and just taking it game by game. This is a team just trying to get better each week.

Less than 300 yards passing.. I’m still more afraid of his legs than his arm.. :) I see a rematch of n the Razor for the AFC Championship.

He’s not into stats , or passing yards. He does what it takes to win.  The thing you are missing is the Ravens defense is now coming around. Seven sacks today, and let up only seven points to a good Houston team.

The Pats D is legit, the Ravens were the only team really move the ball consistently on them.   Be interesting see if anyone can figure a way to slow down their College style O. (Which isn’t an insult just what it is a triple option, RPO, all things you see in college not the pros)

4  Passing Touchdowns, 0 Int’s today. Not  bad for a running back !!!!

  5. The Ravens almost signed him a few years ago, probably because the Jim / John Harbaugh connections. While this was going on , Kaep’s girlfriend posted a stupid tweet taking a shot at the Raven’s owner, and Ray Lewis. That put an end to that. I know many don’t like Ray, but my point is I’ve never seen someone , or his associates , shoot themselves in the foot while trying to get a job, or retain a job. It’s like applying for a job, and insulting the guy you are interviewing with. Then , you’re stunned when you don’t get the job.

You guys absolutely destroyed them! Made me feel better on how the Patriots looked lol

It’s a long season. Obviously I love the way the Ravens are playing , but we have more tough games ahead. At LA Rams, SF at home.

To be totally honest , I have never seen an offense like this in the Ravens era. We’ve been almost exclusively a defensive oriented franchise. I have to go back to the Johnny Unitas/ Bert Jones years of the Baltimore Colts for anything somewhat comparable. Even watching that , I’ve never seen anything like I’ve seen with Lamar. I’m stunned myself .

This is gonna be another epic game between these two QBs. I don’t think we’ll be looking at a 42-36 score haha But it’s gonna be a good one and crucial in AFC seeding.

This should be a highly entertaining game. This is a tough game for us with Houston coming off the bye. We have a brutal schedule.

  8. If in Indy , St Elmo’s is a must. That and Peter Luger’s in NY are my favorites . Not sure where the Colts 2006 trophy is, maybe with Ringo’s drum set !

If you want to see the 1970 Super Bowl 5 trophy , it resides in Baltimore at the Babe Ruth Museum. Occasionally , they have opportunities to take pictures with the trophy.

I’m telling on myself, but I remember Memorial Stadium in Baltimore.

The C-O-L-T-S chant was so loud, each letter echoed over the next. I thought they tried it in Indy years ago (they added Colts! Colts! Colts! at the end), but it faded out.

There will never be anything like the  old Memorial Stadium, the largest outdoor insane asylum. Sellouts for years , not to mention the Big Wheel leading cheers. Great times.

Ive been to Lucas Oil stadium and it’s been a great crowd. Same as Baltimore. It’s hard competing against high def TV , versus the high cost of going to games for some fans. It’s like that in every city. You have to put on a very exciting product to draw sellouts now. Back then , it was the only game in town.

Go Ravens. I need a Colts win and a Texans loss. If that happens, the Colts are back in 1st place in the AFC South at 6-4.

We really hope we can help the Colts this week. It’s going to be a tough game.

Go Texans! Lol sorry Crow a Texans win helps my Pats a lot!! Although either outcome helps them for a first round bye.

No harm, no foul, I totally get it. For the very same reasons I’m a big Eagles fan this week.

  12. This Browns team is a punk team from Mayfield, to Beckham , to Garrett. Braggarts without portfolio. Only they could mess up a nice win. Why would Garrett pull that with 09 seconds left ?
The Browns have talent, but they have done nothing so far , 4-6, to deserve all the national hype they have been given. Pouncey will get clipped also, and I won’t lose any sleep over any Brown or Steeler suspended.
