  1. If Manning is healthy trade down and pick Poe up. The guy is a beast and would be an impact player from day one. He would be a great piece to rebuilding our defense. I think Chuck would love to have a guy like this

  2. The only people I've heard that didn't enjoy the "experience" are the guys/girls on IMPD that I know that had to work it. In jest, they were saying "I hope that *bleep* thing never comes back here again." lol

In any event, I was down there both Friday and Saturday nights and on Friday happened upon Archie and Olivia coming out of their hotel, I was the only one that recognized them and got to shake Archie's hand. It was only in passing and we exchanged quick words but still, it was pretty cool. And I didn't wanna be "that" guy that freaks out and asks 800 questions. I wanted a smile, a handshake, and acknowledgment and that was good enough for me. :)

    Good for you man! Classy

  3. So I have to say to all those who got on Eli Manning for saying he was an elite QB at the stat season...What do you think now? People just had to wait till the end of the season I think he has now answered that question once and for all.

Also that isn't directed at anyone here, I think a lot of us took Eli's side!

Yeah my friends were talking about this yesterday. The Man is a top five QB. Manning, Brady, Brees, Rodgers, Manning. The best brothers in sports.

  4. Why would I root against my team just because Peyton is going against them? Man I can't stand Peyton fans first, Colts fans second.

Why? In logical terms, organizations change all the time. This change may not reflect peoples preferred football style. The Steelers are know as a defensive smash mouth run team. If that changed they may upset their fan base. If the Colts built their team like the Jets, a team that I can't stand, I may need to reevaluate my team. I don't live in the US and I picked Indy because of their play style 9 years ago. I liked how they built through the draft and stayed classy. I liked the kind of leader Peyton was. I liked how we had two of the best DE's in the game. I liked Tony Dungy's style and poise. I will always be a Colts fan, but things can change. The last 5 seasons the Cards and the Giants have been my second favorite team alternately. I am just a super huge fan of football.

Side note. Where ever Peyton plays next year I am traveling to. I need to see the man play. I hope it is in Indy so I can see Lucas Oil Stadium and the wonderful city! Here's hopin'

  5. So giving ones honest opinion means he "hates" and "trashes" the Colts? We barely made the playoffs two years ago and went one and done against Mark Sanchez. He wasn't far from wrong, was he?

I've heard LaCanfora give praise to the Colts many times.

At this point in time, this franchise is a bit of a mess.

I'm just giving my honest opinion about La Canfora. To me its seemed like he wanted the franchise to fail.

  6. No, he doesn't.

Just because member of the media reports something negative about the Colts it doesn't mean they were "trashing" them. I wish people would stop thinking that.

Two years ago he said that the colts weren't a playoff team and that he'd been saying so for some time. I get how people can say something negative and not be trashing something, most adults understand that concept. The man has consistently had only negative things to say about the Colts. When its time for props he's nowhere to be found.

  7. It never should have come down to a kick. Their receiver (don't know his name) should have been able to hold on to the ball he already had in his hands .

Lee Evans. And that's why you don't go to your receiver, who had 4 catches all season, to win a big game in the dying seconds

  8. Well like it has been said, better to have it in January than July! Sounds like they were all pretty minor operations. I like both Angerer and Castanzo so hopefully they will heal up well and be back next season.

Anyone think Gary Bracket's position as MLB is in trouble? Given how well Angerer played at that position?

darn right he's in trouble. In pass coverage Brackett wins hands down. With all the coaching changes I'm not sure were going to need as much coverage from our MLB though.
