  1. This is partial a copy of what I just posted in another thread...

OK, these are positions I feel the greatest sense of urgency to upgrade in the upcoming draft and FA period (today 2019 11-23): The exact order is a rough approximation and not wholly refined in my thoughts yet.

    #1 NT (Rush)

    #2 RT

    #3 DE (Rush)

    #4 WR-2

    #5 UT (Rush)

    #6 TE-1

    #7 WR-3

    #8 K

    #9 QB-2

    #10 LT-2

    #11 SS-2

I'm willing to entertain your reasoning for why the #1 most important position in the NFL, by far, is the 12th most important need on a Colts team that just had their franchise QB retire before the season.

  3. Last year, Al Woods got doubled constantly so Autry got one-on-ones. This year, Autry's getting double teamed constantly. Grover has made some noise one-on-one, but Hunt and the rest, not so much.

My Gripe is really with Hoyers decision making , he had Hines wide open in the flats and two separate occasions and chose to take the deep shot at the end zone. 4 downs he had he could’ve nickel and dimed his way to the score, but chose to go for it all smh.

Agreed! They had 2 time outs left, just under a minute on the clock, and could still get a first down.  Hoyer showed no veteran leadership in handling that situation. And, talk about a guy who doesn't see open receivers...

JB sheds some tacklers but is less than average as a runner.  Very slow.
Averages 13ypg and 3 ypc and has a long of 9.

He runs fairly often, but there are probably reasons for that.

OK slow, but that's +3 yards instead of -7 and a sack. Pocket awareness & escape-ability are quality traits. Successfully running for 1st downs & sustaining drives, instead of punting is a solid trait. Yardage gained is not the metric that matters really - it's evading sacks, turning negative plays into a positive ones, keeping down & distance to the offenses advantage. There's also not turning the ball over, the one that really kills teams more than any other trait. It's not flashy, but those traits win way more than they lose...

I went interior DL with my vote. The defense as a whole has been terrible however the inside of our defensive line can’t get pressure or even come close to clogging up rushing lanes.

The Colts need a skilled big man in there.

I did interior DL too. If you're going to "rush 4" , those 4 need to do something.

    Offense

    PPG: 23.3 (12th)

    Defense

    PPG Allowed: 23.7 (20th)

3rd Down Conversion Rate Allowed: 53% (5th most)

    Defense has allowed 7 TD's passing (t-25th), 2 TD's rushing (t-10th) vs 3 field goals. 9 TD's vs 3 FG's - 75/25 ratio.  At 50/50 the points against would be 60 (t-10th) and at 25/75 the points against would be 48 (6th).

3rd down conversion defense and redzone passing defense aren't solid (yet).

    Team:

Points For 70, Points Against 71, Team Net Points -1 (15th).

  8. Play the most experienced players early in the game.

Lean on that experience to reign in the early emotions and get the game plans established.

Play focused, play smart and execute one call at a time, for the full 60 minutes, and the these Colts will come out on top of the those Titans...
