They are used to that and it is after all the Super Bowl. Hawks will be asked to. We will see how they handle the entire SB being about the Pats. They did not have to deal with that last year with the ho hum Fox led Broncos who did not even prepare for the crowd noise. This year they have to deal with the best HC and QB in the post-season on top of the controversy drama. The Pats are in their element being under scrutiny for the last 15 years and their historic run and sixth SB, Hawks not so much. I think Sherman explodes from not getting enough attention. I have never looked so forward to media day and the pressers in my life. This is going to be the best week of TV ever leading up to the bowl AND a great game too.
The Pats are in their element being under scrutiny for the last 15 years THESE are your words Why have they been under scrutiny, I can answer that They have skirted the rules along with outright cheating numerous times! Its not rocket science , I would prefer to be in the news because I have the best team, not because I use whatever means available to get the chance to be the best team.
-
the patriots have to make him available to the media. They haven't done that.
According to Belichick They have made everyone involved with the situation available
Im just saying its starting to smell(more than it already does)
-
have you ever seen the amount of reporters on media day?
Why havent they talked to the equipment managers(Come on It is begining to look like the media is in on a cover up) That should be high on the list of people to talk to yet no one has reported any word from the equipment managers.
-
Sure did not look fixed against Andrew Luck...just sayin. 375 yards?
they made an attempt And to there credit when andrew is on it doesnt matter whos on the other side of the ball
-
If found to be Cheating DEFLATE THERE BALLS
-
It seemed to me that the oline came together with Holmes, Seems he has more upside, But camp will sort them out if the coaches do there jobs!
-
Just sayin....some people are bring a little dramatic when talking about how the game is ruined and they refuse now to watch.
It should still be a great game with lots of great storylines.
The story line will be BB and TB get hammered because TB cant throw a fully inflated ball and he was to busy to watch the current edition of the sea hawks practices because his lawyers were trying to teach him what to say so as not to incriminate his self
-
you can bet it will be a massive topic on media day
Unless they are going to interview the equipment manager they will get the same responses I didnt know anything about it until Monday morning.I am sure they have been instructed as to what to say and unless I am just blind they are not going to fess up,
Question why has no media questioned the equipment manager?
-
Ok here it is BB and Tb didnt know anything about the underinflated balls, Because it was a official that had a bet on the game and he wanted to give the pats a decided advantage You heard it here first My source was the pats equipment manager

I really hate being lumped in with the Browns, Philly, etc. And why do our trades seem to shine with their new teams but not vice versa?
Colts can do without manziels type of shine
-
Im sure bradys answer would be I dont know anything about it ,Belichick says he hasent talked about that kind of formation in 40 years

Everyone needs places to fix. A quick question: How many Pro Bowl defensive backs did Denver have...?
Before this year or after they fixed there problem?
-
Let's set this straight, right here, right now.
We are not rebuilding, 2012 was the rebuild and we got it done in one year. That's it, end of story.
For the past 2 seasons this team has climbed to the #4 seed in the AFC. We are there. This is not a team of rookies, this team is a contender and I (and a lot of other fans) think that this team should go all the way. There is absolutely no reason for people on this board claiming that this team isn't good enough to get us the Lombardi.
There is also no reason for people to to think that this isn't the same situation that we were in for the last decade, an all-pro carry the team QB, lugging around a swiss cheese defense. Where did that get us? That got us 2 SB births and 1 SB victory in that era. Is that respectable? Sure, maybe, but what could have been had the coaches and GM put together a fierce defense to go with this high powered offense? The point of learning history is to not repeat the same mistakes, and for now we are walking down the same mistake ridden trail we once walked before.
So please excuse my negativity when nothing is done to stop the bleeding on an open wound.
Agreed
-
Sadly, I think their flubs were not due to flubber
Agreed, Just trying to ease the pain of such a crappy flub up
-
I would like to see the game played with flubber. Not only is it adorable but the injection of ball 'free will' into the game would make it like quiddich
Maybe that is the answer to what happened to the colts , There ball were inflated to the right psi with flubber and thats why they couldnt catch or hold on to it
-
How many other teams were 13-6???? Nuff said.
I do not need to hear it's the division we are in either. We beat the Broncos to make it to the AFC championship.
Do the other teams that had good records Need to fix things in there organazation? I say sure, Do they have the right tools to fix them with?
Some do some dont I just think the colts are struggling with things that can be fixed. They seem to me to be slow on the uptake There might be alot of reasons for this but Like I said fix it or find someone who will.
So am I to assume that because we are in a weak division we should be ok with the fact that the colts looked really bad to many times against both good teams and bad ones .

Oh, by the way I do like your name. As an avid fisherman and a 7 time papaw I can appreciate that. I am sorry if you feel I insulted you. It was not my intention. My intention was well explained in my comment. Football is a game that is meant to be entertainment, not the be all for people. Being a fan does not mean your are a fanatic. That is brought upon yourself as you choose.
I really dont feel like you you insulted me persay, I get insulted when I feel like someone is downplaying some very legit thoughts, just because we have different levels or thoughts on what a fan is or is not . I also agree that it is entertainment , that I really enjoy win lose or draw . I just wish they could here me when Im screaming at my TV telling the coaches what they should be doing. lol
-
I guess you skipped over the part where I said some take this way to personal? If you take my comment as an insult that's on you. If you took it personal then I guess you are one of those I was referring to. You started you comment about how hard your job is and for less money. Comprehend my comment.
It is personal If I was getting paid to do there job. 1 Either i would find a way to fix the obvious problems , or 2 find some one that could do it for me. Neither of which seems to be taking place, I as a fan will call them on it every time
-
Just in The balls were deflated while the proffesor attempted to add just enough flubber to give the balls 12.5 psi ( http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0119137/) They did not take into consideration that flubber reacts differently to the weather than air. Also there is nowhere in the rules saying you cant use flubber, Belicheck says he has no info on it.

While I understand all of the frustration it does get old hearing what a lousy team the Colts are and how the Colts coaches are just as lousy. It's like a broken record. Why does most think it is an easy job to coach in the NFL? Some think being a GM is an easy job also. Coaches are no different than players in the fact that sometimes it takes time to learn the skill. We have had 2 offensive coordinators in 3 years. We have 49 new players on the roster who wasn't here 3 seasons ago and one of them is on IR and the other is facing off season surgery. The other two are kickers. Way too many complain and whine about what the Colts and their coaches didn't do. Very few even consider the good things that this team and their coaches have done in three seasons. Three straight 11-5 seasons are not something that happens to any team after a total rebuild. The negatives ones always find fault with that too. The threads is called spoiled? Yes, most of the Colts fans are spoiled. Maybe it's not just the Colt fans who are spoiled? I think the whole society is chronic complainers. Nothing seems to ever be good enough. The NFL and the game of football is just a game but to some it becomes personal. While I am a fan of the Colts and the NFL, this is for entertainment only. Sometimes people take the term 'fan' way too far. I know it's short for fanatic and there is nothing more the truth than that.
We know that those jobs are hard, They get paid well becauuse of it,I work as hard at my job for a lot less, But if I dont do a good job I am held responsible of it. In my opinion there are a lot of problems that can be fixed by the coaching staff, They get paid well to fix them We are the ones holding them responsible. I take being called spoiled as an insult, all Im doing is holding them responsible.

If (and its a big if) Tom did not have anything to do with the balls being underinflated, Would he not ask the guy who is not supposed to let anything happen to the balls? Why have all these "top notch reporters" not asked the equipment manager what happened, Did the patriots bail out arron hernandez, and have him snuffed out? Where is the guy who has control of the balls? Something is smelly in patriot land. This with the uneligable reciever and the spygate ,plus all the other shady stuff that leaks out of Belichick pores is not a chance happening, Tom with the approval of Belichick had the equipment manager inflate or deflate the balls to toms specs. Giving them a unfair advantage! Cheaters! I am guessing it happens every game that they are involved in. Or they had all the balls filled with hellium and they lost pressure because all the pats were sitting around taking hits laughing there butts off.Or they got ahold of some flubber and the air leaked out while they were trying to insert it into the ball.

I hated what happened just as bad a most. Losing to NE AGAIN in the playoffs has become a bad habit. But there seems to be a lot of griping going on from us fans. Sometimes you have to count your blessings. Remember only 1 team is going to end the season with a victory. Being fans of the Colts has given us plenty of reasons to cheer over the last 17 years. That's a heck of a stretch.
I think that expecting to win the Super Bowl this year was a bit of a lofty goal for a team who was in tatters just 3 years ago. A 3rd year QB, 3rd Year of a rebuild job. Yet, we almost made it. Granted we got beat badly in the AFC championship game and a few other times throughout the season but I that doesn't mean we can be thankful for getting to that game and looking forward with hope, instead of criticizing the past season as a failure, and look forward to next season.
I am looking forward to next year , what im not looking forward to is the same old lame run first (that would be ok if you had the tools)offense.1 st down give the ball to trent,(deflated running back that the whole world could see was not a top tier back) except the coaching staff) Second down drop back get hit while throwing because everyone new what was coming, Third down give andrew a chance to make a play , sometimes it worked, start the process over again, Go into halftime Put the ball in andrews hands and maybe win or make a game of it.
I did not see any or very few adjustment made by the coaching staff.,While the teams we were playing at least made it harder to continue doing whatever we were doing right. So unless the coahes can learn to make adjustments I dont see the colts getting any closer to winning the super bowl .
I am not a spoiled Colts fan ,I just really enjoy seeing the team I root for doing really good, I dont get payed to make adjustments so I dont have the answers on how to fix the problems It is just glarinly obious that there are lots of them.

Tom the two faced( cant tell the difference between 12.5 and 11 psi) Brady should have to forfeit all stats for the entire season such as passing yards receptions etc. All the numbers he has put up are a farce he had at least one decided advantage over the other qbs who all played by the rules. He should not ever be considered for hall of fame. It is the same as using performance enhancing drugs ,The balls were manipulated to help the patriots preform better.

Seeing all of the angry Patriots fans on my FB feed is becoming a little old at this point. I'd love to see Seattle smack them around just so they'll quiet down for another year.
This post caught my attention though:
If you commit PI or UC, yes, you broke a rule. You might not get fined for it (although with some unsportsmanlike conduct penalties there are fines involved), but it costs your team yards on the field.
"Oh no, they broke a rule." - so if I go murder someone I can just say "Oh no I murdered somebody."?
It looks like they try to get away with whatever they can by staying on the verge of cheating all the time this is not an isolated incidence, To me they win by whatever means are necessary and if they get caught they have all there ducks in a row before they address the public. I wonder what they did in the win against the ravens hard to say but I think all there wins are questionable. They are guilty of this crime call it cheating or breaking the rules or whatever you want but the balls were under inflated. That gave them a decided advantage, What other underhanded crap have they done we dont know about? We already know of a bunch of stuff that is not what i would consider respectful of a team going to participate in the super bowl. just my thoughts .

WOW Its so blantant, you cant see past your nose It happened what is there to prove Brady likes them underiflated. they were underinflated! that has been proven
