  1. Probably tired of beating a dead horse at this point. Until the report comes up there really isn't anything else to talk about ...

The longer the report takes the more of a chance people will forget why they were so emotional about it in the first place .I just don't want to see this swept under the rug. I for the life of me cant understand why or how it could take this long unless someone or some organization is still trying to find how to cover there butts. The longer it goes on from here ,to me the smellier it gets!

  2. Funny, I was thinking the exact opposite. :dunno:

I would have thought if there was nothing really there, the results of the investigation would have been completed, yet it's still ongoing, which leads me to believe some wrongdoing has been uncovered but we're not supposed to be discussing this until the results are in. Hurry up already. :P

Seems like they are stalling hopping everyone will forget, Maybe covering there own butt, Maybe covering the real truth ,maybe they think its not any of our business, I think as caring NFL fans its our job not to let it DIE.

  3. I was listening to Peter King and he said one of the reasons that the NFL is taking so much time is this investigation is going much deeper than the 11 underinflated footballs involved in the Colts game. The NFL is looking at the whole season and maybe earlier than that. Also they have tons of e-mails and other things to sort out. This could be a lot more deeper than some of us were thinking. He said this could take weeks to complete so I guess we will just have to wait and see. On a personal note I will not discuss, debate or argue with any Patriot fans who chime in on the Colts forum about any of this. In my opinion there is something to this. It don't take a rocket scientist to figure out that something fishy has been going on with the Patriots. I have a gut feeling the Colts-Patriot game is just the beginning. Once again I make this comment as a personal opinion.

How much longer till we know the outcome of the investigation?

  4. Then move along junior.. i made a side handed comment and, in typical Colt fashion, it was turned into the beginning of Armageddon...

I'm sure I could find 1,000 posts that don't put Belichick, Kraft or Brady in the most glamorous of light..

If you have nothing to contribute other than to insult me, then MOVE ALONG

Your comments on a colts board are very out of place ,sure we commit on our thoughts of the pats but we dont go to your house and do it .Also most of the bad things written about the pats are substantiated  not just how a person looks. Who are you to tell a colts fan on a colts board to move along? The mods should ban you , But instead I will be chastised, But you sir are the trouble maker.

  5. I think this defines what they can and can not do, Giving the coaches the opportunity to plan to defense the situation when it arrives or to plan on using it as an offensive weapon , Now the pats will take this rule apart piece by piece and see what they can and cant get away with , using there past for reference I would bet they "test" the officials knowledge on this rule pushing the rule to its limits and beyond till next year when the rules committee will have to again define, and change it so BB cant get away with unsportsmanlike  conduct. I can see this happening again and again for years to come.

  6. For sure. Wilfork is a good add. Bummer for them Clowney kept getting injured, didn't really show anything. But Colts added pieces too. Texans will make them earn games, but in my opinion Colts don't lose a game to the Texans this season and won't have any problem winning the division. Really think the Texans should have picked Bridgewater, that guy is a pretty solid young QB despite his small frame.

Watt is a monster and if he plays more offense it will be entertaining, I agree its not enough but the division will not be a push over this year.

  7. Yes that's my prediction. And yes you guys don't have a QB. Skin of our teeth would have meant the Texans would have beat the Colts at least once last season, which didn't happen.

And again I'll mention I don't dislike the Texans, you guys might grind out double-digit wins. You guys have a deep roster. But you won't win the division.

I dont root for the texans but you have to admit they always give the colts a go, now with that dline I think its a toss up, They are going to be tuff on defense!

  8. I'm more worried about good Mallet can be.  They won 9 games with Ryan Fitzpatrick at quarterback.  They have just improved their defense even more then it was.

Honestly Mallet doesn't have to be very good to make them a threat.

We really can't afford to sleep on the Texans guys.

Every game against the texans seems like it could go either way They have a number of playmakers and I think the new additions will make JJs job much easier , We should be very much worried about them, I think the texans are going to be a hand full.

  9. Nothing negative about it. It makes no difference what Grigson has done in the past. He is good at his job and to me it's that simple. I don't feel the need to bring old news into the picture and make an issue out of it.

So its not an issue unless you agree to it?

  10. You do understand that the point is the line settled in at the end of the season, right? RG has been addressed. If Cherilus isn't healthy, it's been addressed by extending Reitz. We still have more free agency and the draft, as well as a guy who may have value in John. That's called improvement, right?

Every Colts fan knows the O line is an issue, you're not dropping knowledge on anyone here. Maybe I'm missing your point, if so, it's on me.

The jury is still out if its improvement or not, I'm not trying to be a smart butt, but I think the improvements made so far, although are good, are not the reasons the colts have struggled, We have great WRs and boom did a good job, we could have gotten by without any improvements there. my point is address the problems, why the need to fix something that worked pretty good.

  11. Pass protection was much improved last year. And that was with rotating centers, an injured RT, and the RG switches. By the end of the year and the playoffs you could say it was darn solid. Even with all those line changes we ranked 7th in pass protection during the regular season.

And that's accepting the fact that some sacks are on Andrew for holding the ball to extend the play.

So, Grigs is addressing that issue. Next complaint?

"And that was with rotating centers, an injured RT, and the RG switches", And we don't need to make any improvements here? Yep your right it was a complaint, I cant be the only one that sees it.

  12. Your comment makes me think you do think Grigson is stupid. Like you said, from your couch. He has tapes we never see. He knows the problems no matter what you think. He has not built this team to be as good as it by being stupid. Trent is old news in case you didn't notice. When Trent was brought in most did feel it was a good move at the time. Trent wasn't even in the mix at the end of last season. The Colts have moved on why cant you? Now lets see what the next thing is you can come up with to be negative about.

Im not negative  Trent was a example( which I stated), Why did he not address it when needed( did he know trent was going to mess up ?) I also stated there are things we are not privy to , When compared to other FO's ours seems slow on the ability to make moves when necessary , No I dont think he is stupid i just would like to be able to understand   a little of the thought process behind  him addressing or not addressing  blatant problems. I also understand that he does not answer to me or you ,although when he has to explain why the best young QB in years  has his career cut short because of the lack of protection , He will answer with his job.

  13. I don't think Grigson need to be shown anything. You act like he is stupid or something. If you cant see the job that he has done in three seasons then maybe you should go back and take football 101.

Well , not sure hes stupid but I am also not sure he watched the same games I did , Why could he not see that trent sucked ? It was obvious to everyone else.I wonder if he sees the same weaknesses that we see. Really would like some insight to his thoughts, The colts offense needed o-line Defense needed D-line  Key signings WR RB D-END . I understand we are not privy to all his info but come on , From my couch Its not rocket science . (The reference to trent is a example of him not being able to see what we all saw)

  14. Sad sad Day, Im nervous now that a hole lot of class will not be with the colts any longer,This team will miss the leadership and commitment that he brought with him. My fear is the colts will continue to peruse players with less integrity and troubled pasts, All most all the players that are rumored to be interested in coming here as fa are not being resigned( by there current team) for a reason, I dont think they will find a REGGIE, out there. Please make a coach out of him(REGGIE) The Colts Need to uphold there reputation For being a respectable team,Reggie was a the pinnacle of a professional. Thanks Reggie

  15. oh man . . . you need to read what I was saying to DW49.

First, this thread has some colts fans claiming foul that a pats fan is trying to gloat regarding a certain fact about the pats and the colts fans are saying rivals should not gloat against their rivals.  Poor taste and all of that and so on and so on.

Second, you and Quizboy have a side conversation regarding forum etiquette in which you state "well if you go to someone's house and point out "X", there are going to be consequences."   Fair enough point taken.  Quizboy then makes a joke well then you should not have "X."  (i.e. emphasis on a joke and much less something you brought up).   Translation, Quizboy was making a joke that is your fault that you have X, but it reality is not as you could not help but have X, but that it why its a joke and we that little "lol" at the end of the post.

Third, out of nowhere and specifically not addressing the conversation you and Quizboy where having about forum etiquette, and not letting it go, DW49 then chimes in and gloats about the fact that the colts have made the playoffs and his rival team Texans have not with his comments.

Fourth, I just closed the loop by correctly pointing out that, like they say about glass houses, those who complain about gloating should not do it themselves, and it only took a few hours for one of your guys to violate that policy that was established by his brethren on the board.

    Brilliant.

    OK?
