  1. Every game looks scary for this team, we have no guaranteed must win games this season because we don't know which team is going to show up from week to week.

But if I had to pick one I would say Week 15 @ the Texans. Stupidly strong power run game and a defense that has been showing O lines who's boss all season. Two things we just can't handle. This matchup straight up scares me.

  2. This is my mock draft as of right now for 2013. With where were at right now I am going to say our first round pick will proabably be somewhere between 10-15. Im not going to specify where in that area but I think it will be Between those numbers.

Round 1 Bjoern Werner DE Florida State Great pass rush ability and run stopping ability and has a great burst off the line. He has a non stop motor and he gets his hands up to swat the ball in the passing game. Kinda reminds me of a JJ Watt. I think he could really help set the edge for us and provide a solid pass rush.

Round 3 Carrington Byndom CB Texas Solid all around guy. Good tackler and seems to play man coverage well. A guy we should be able to get in the third too. Good value I think.

Round 4 Stedman Bailey WR West Virginia Fast, Good hands, runs routes well and is very reliable. He is said to be a more reliable reciever and more accomplished route runner than his team mate Austin who is very good in his own right. It seems like Geno can just about always count on this kid to be there and make a catch. And no he is not just a slot reciever. He can play multiple spots. Overall I think he's the type of reciver our staff would like. Small, fast, reliable and a playmaker.

Thats all I have for now. I know we might get a compensation pick but im not for sure on it so I didn't project a pick for it. Id be happy with this draft overall. Its tought though becuase there are so many ways we could go and really need to go and then we don't know what we might take care of in free agency. Also I don't see us trading for a second rounder becuase we don't really have anything to trade to get the pick. Only way I see it would be possible is if we got a top 10 pick and traded down or just trade our first round pick completley. But Im really thinking were gonna be outta the top 10 and I really hope we don't give our first rounder up. Also we dont have any players to try and trade for a second rounder. So I see a very little chance we get one.

Just out of interest which pick do you have us picking at??

  3. Why was this thread made we are in week 8 and were talking OC, what does this have to do with the here and now and what has Arian done for us to be having this talk other then work his a** off to get this team were they are now and if you say thats not much just remember our 2-14 record from last year plus who knows more about branging a young QB along then Arians. This thread like the other Arians thread is a waste of time, this man is doing all he can with expanded responsibilities due to our coaches illness and you want to make a thread like this after only 8 weeks wow some fans......

I know we are in week 8, but it was a hypothetical. This thread (that i started), is not a reflection on Arians performance, I also don't expect Arians to retire for a few years. But going by your point we also shouldn't be talking about FA or the draft, since its only week 8. More to the point, I hate to be a cliche *, but if you don't like thread, then don't read it.

  4. Just curious. For all the foreigners on here how did you guys become colts fans?

I started about two years ago as a Peyton fan and then fell in love with the team. And when Peyton left I realised I loved the team more that Peyton, so I stayed instead of moving my affections to Denver.

  5. Chip Kelly runs a spread offense, certainly not a WCO.

It would be interesting to see him run his offense in the NFL, but this past off-season he was flirting with Tampa and their HC job, so i don't see him leaving Oregon for anything less than a HC job at this level.

Belichick has actually visited with Kelly in hopes of streamlining his play-calling/no-huddle attack.

He would be interesting, I just don't see him accepting an OC job.

If Arians were to retire, I would want someone with ties to the WCO.

Apologies on the offensive mix up, as i said im from the Uk and only been a fan for a year or two.

  6. I'd love to see Chip Kelly try to make the jump from Oregon, he uses an up-tempo West Coast offense (similar to the one Luck used at Stanford) and loves to utilize mobile QBs (which we have), smaller, speedy recievers (which we have) and speedy but head strong RBs (which we have a few of).

He's an exciting play-caller who doesnt shy away at the end of games. He's a terrific head coach who looks ready to make the jump to the pros.

I am from the UK so forgive me if i'm a little wrong on a few things.

    Any Thoughts??
