Major Wright anybody?

Posted by optimusprimetime, 26 March 2014 · 996 views

Major Wright is only 25 yrs old and has some upside. He has had ample amount of success in his 4 years 3 years starting. I know there are some concerns about him against the run but when you have a Thumper like Landry, you may want more of a ball hawking free safety. He will be on the cheap compared to other free agents and has some YOUNG veteran experience.

Major Wright 54 games played he has 253 tackles, 3 forced fumbles, 2 fumble recoveries, 9 interceptions, and a pick 6 every year for the last 3 years.

Chris Clemons 28 yrs supposedly best safety left available played 18 more games with 72, he has 207 tackles, 2 forced fumbles, 0 fumble recoveries, 4 interceptions, 0 touchdowns.....he does have a 1.5 sacks though....

Love to have Major Wright on a small deal, but I think we are in Howell/draft mode

Wright did start some games his first year......

I loved Major Wright too to bring some experience behind Howell who I think will be just fine back there. He is back with Lovie in TB on a small prove it deal. He showed signs of being an up and coming player until last yr but the entire bears D sucked.

I agree

I was listening to CBS sideline Thursday Night Football reporter Tracy Wolfson talk about Saints WR Kenny Stills having to "tape up his groin" in the 2nd half & that phrase made me cringe because ankles I get, but tape & a sensitive region of the body doesn't sound all that wonderful to me. Enough said.

Preparing for my second Indy trip. A stopover but a long trip none the less. I want a Colts victory but wonder what the Indy weather surprise me. Last year on my first trip to the LOS it was cold, my first trip this year it rained!
