It’s the same scheme we had last year and it worked.     I’m sure we will evaluate everything....   this is a pretty thorough staff and front office.

Scheme most certainly did not work in the KC playoff game.

Agree on Wilson. Rock is far from a bust yet, he's just a rookie still, and CB is one of the hardest positions to get acclimated too in the NFL. Have to give him 3 years. He's been average so far. Not every player will be an all-pro like Nelson and Leonard their 1st year. We have to remember that.

Would you be OK with Ballard using another high draft pick on a CB, or would you agree it's time to buy a good one?

Nelson is by far the best offensive player on this team. Followed by Ryan Kelly.

At this point, Marlon Mack is probably the best skill position player on the offense.

If your top three players are two offensive lineman and a RB, you are not going to be a winning team in the NFL. It's a passing league, and Ballard should be held accountable not upgrading the WR position. Why didn't Ballard sign John Brown? It's not like we didn't have the money. Instead, he goes shopping at the Dollar Tree for Devin Funchess.

    Calling my comment ignorant?

I am not taking anything you say serious because of your long history of insulting fans in this forum. You don't have the capabilities of having a debate without making yourself look like a child.

I don't recall ever insulting anybody. If I have, I apologise. I just believe, that in a passing league, Ballard should have already found a WR close to Hilton's level. I love Q, but if he's your best player on offense, your offense will not be good.

  5. After back to back 100 yard rushing games, in which Williams looked outstanding, he was benched mid game for inferior RB's. I also believe Mack isn't 100 %, which makes the benching more of a head scratcher. Frank has not explained what has led to the seemingly permanent and random benching. Was this a disciplinary action, or was I enchanted watching Williams torch defenses two weeks in a row.

Nelson is considered in the top 2 or 3 linemen in the league. (even as a rookie)

Hilton has never been a top 2 or 3 receiver in his career.

    Just stop.

Aren't the Colts like 1-9 without Hilton? Also, when was the last time a team was any good when their best player was an Offensive Lineman? I'm not trying to give you a hard time, but your comment was ignorant.

What?  It’s hard to tell online when people are being serious or joking.   I’d love the Bengals to do this trade but unfortunately they have a management team that knows who Okereke and Hooker are and the value of the number one pick vs a pick in the teens.

Can anybody imagine what this call would look like if Ballard made it?  The call might be professional, but after disconnecting, Bengals would have to assume Ballard had absolutely no respect for them to offer such a laughably bad offer thinking they would take it.

If you’re being serious, I hate to be the one to rain on your parade, but the offer is awful and if somehow the Bengals management team fielded such a call after mixing quaaludes and alcohol and accepted, they’d immediately be fired.  Ballard would probably be accused of drugging them or possible blackmail.  In other words, such a trade would never happen.  Ever.  I mean ever.  If there were other dimensions with endless possibilities and alternate timelines, none would have this trade occurring.  Your only hope of experiencing this trade is to hope recall technology comes around, you buy a memory implant, and hope it doesn’t result in you being lobotomized back on earth while in your mind you are partying with Chris Ballard as his bosom buddy.

(Forum go watch Total Recall with Arnold Schwarzenegger now if you haven’t.  Great movie!)

You act like GM's are all intelligent. They aren't. Ryan Grigson traded a first round pick for Trent Richard. By far a worse trade offer.

It’s comments like this that make me shake my head. The guys are rookies. Your not going to get all pros every year.

From my experience, good players flash a little bit during their Rookie seasons. Our top draft picks have mostly been invisible.

  9. Ballard should implement a strategy that contradicts his current vision. Needs to trade picks for good, proven players. Let's face it, the 2019 draft was not a good draft, and I don't trust Ballard to get it right in 2020.

Ballard hasn't created a narrative that hes a draft expert. He has even stated more than ones, you're going to miss on picks, therefore he likes collecting more darts (picks) for the board. You act like you arent happy unless he actually meets this narrative that you claim he has created, and does in fact hit every pick.

Ballard's reluctance to buy star players leads me to believe that he feels he is capable of drafting star players. In his third season, I would say Ballard has drafted only 2 star players, Nelson and Leonard, which is not close to being good enough.

  11. There is no accountability on this team. No excuse to get torched from Winston when his top WR is out of the game. Our defense gave Winston easy completions the entire game. I keep hearing how Eberflus is a future HC lol.

Rock was pretty great tonight. It was the vets who gave up the big plays. Guess what happened whrn rock went out. He has had a great rookie season. Campbell is incomplete. Calling him a bust is dumb.

This defense has been great playing as many rookies as we have.  There has been way more success then busts.

If you have been watching what Metcalf has been doing on Seattle, you would understand that Campbell is a huge miss.

MOC is a helleva blocker. Doyle and Ebron were the pass catching TE. What better blocking TEs were available that he should have signed?

    Jessie James.

Jared Cook is not signing with the Cokts to be TE3.   He wants to play.   He wants be a bigger piece of the puzzle.

Stop with the MAC nonsense.   TE3 is the perfect spot for a developing player like him.

With Ebron being out, Cook would be playing. I don't understand your argument.

He has pretty much nailed the draft.

Terrell Basham, Quincy Wilson, Paris Campbell, Rock Ya Sin, Tyquon Lewis. Ballard has whiffed on many high draft picks, which is to be expected. He should have signed a few FA's for insurance.

Cox isn't in cook's level.    They weren't paying ebron, doyle and cook.   Use your brain

Use your brain. You asked who else Ballard could have bought, and I gave you an answer. With all the money we had available, we could have afforded a better TE3. Could have also afforded a better Safety with Mincah Fitzpatrick.
