Colts lost to a lot of bad teams. Oakland, Miami, Tampa Bay, Jacksonville, Pittsburgh, and San Diego. A good roster, even with a lousy QB, wins at least 5 of these games against bottom feeders. I'm disappointed because I was lead to believe the roster was good. It isn't, and there are several holes.

1st off I want to say, THANK YOU TITANS! Now the rest of the playoffs can really be enjoyable to watch. I loved watching the Pats lose because it rarely happens. This years SB will be fun to watch.
On a side note I see some on here and on other threads praising Tannehill. Why? He was 8-15 72 Yards 1TD/1INT, If JB had done that he would be ripped to shreds and people would say we won in spite of him. Henry won this game almost by himself along with the Titans D. Tannehill had worse than a JB game
Tannehill is a bum. Hilarious Tennessee decided to keep him as their QB going forward. This will help the Colts in the near future.

Trading Hughes is another, although somewhat under the radar, Grigson gaffe.

Bad take. You need an explosive offense to win these days. Without an elite QB, you are not a contender. Other teams have tried, and failed to win with a monster defense. Very hard to accomplish.

What did you expect? For him to publicly trash his own kicker? Who only happens to be the best kicker of all-time! What is the matter with you?!? How sick can you be?Ballard should have humbled himself, and admitted that he made a mistake keeping Vinateri. Instead, he doubles down on nonsense.

Ballard says this is a big off-season for Paris Campbell. Says we all saw his potential.
I'm listening about Pascal.
-
Sounds disappointed with Tyquon Lewis. Says it's a big year for him to prove himself.
-
Ballard says defense needs more interior pressure. Also says the defensive line is "solid". Says he can live with getting beat by dink and dunk, but cannot tolerate big plays.

Who did he say that they are moving on from? I couldn't hear the question - sounded like Kravitz maybe who asked.
Was it Ebron?
yes

Ballard says they will probably move on from Ebron.

Ballard says the Safety position is "solid".
-
Ballard making excuses for Eberflus's lousy scheme. Says the defense is young. Ballard did say he needs to give defensive some help.
-
Ballard says he does not regret keeping Vinateri, even though he was awful. I don't understand Ballard. He seems to be fine losing games because of terrible kicking.

I understand. I live and Tennessee and i have seen first hand that people stopped believing in Mariota and stopped going to the games. But in the end JB is still the best, realistic option next year, if you want to compete. No rookie will come in and do any better, espeically if JB can improve.
Everyone keeps saying prepare for JB being the starter. The reason is that he is the best option for next year. Now that doesn't mean that they don't draft a QB, but that QB won't be the best option for next year.
If Brissett is the starting QB for 2020, Ballard should be fired.

I'm sold. Ballard needs to trade up for once, and stop hoarding these hit or miss second round picks.

Neither of them sucked. We gotta stop claiming rookies who don't light the world on fire "sucked." It's stupid.
The more I watched him, the more I liked him. I would have loved to have him.
For the season, Campbell caught 18 passes for 127 yards. I hope he turns it around, but Campbell absolutely sucked as a Rookie.

How about Leonard, Mack, Smith, Willis, Walker, or Turey? Funny how left them out...
Turey cannot stay healthy. I like him as a prospect, but if he continues to miss games, he will be another busted Ballard draft pick.

Dorsey hired both Hue Jackson and Freddie Kitchens. Two terrible hires. Dorsey absolutely deserved to be fired.

There is always room for a new fan on any other NFL team.
You have had a negative mindset every since you joined this forum so why root for a team you apparently don't trust or care for?
I have been a Colts fan my entire life. Just because I'm critical of bad moves does not make me less of a fan.

I don't agree with the culture of trust. How the kicking situation was handled this year, I don't trust Ballard or Reich.
-
This team has more holes than a slice of Swiss cheese. Ballard seriously traded out of the first round for Rock Ya Sin. Instead of drafting a good WR in Round 1, we are stuck with another CB bust.

nonsense. (hint: i didn't say nonsense)
He's not Ed Reed, but he's not bad- at all. Watch what happens in the secondary when he's not there.
And what's with this mangled thread title?
When he does not play, the secondary is awful. When he does play, the secondary is awful. Hooker should be called "The Ghost" instead of Hilton because he's usually invisible.

Stats don’t mean everything. Sure, Hooker isn’t Elite, but he is a good starter, and him being invisible isn’t a bad thing. If you aren’t hearing his name being called, he’s doing his job
I would agree with this take. He's a decent, middle of the road Safety. With all the attention he gets from the media, one would think he's the next Ed Reed.
-
Hooker is one of the most overrated Indianapolis Colts I can remember. Yes, from time to time, he will make an interception. Most of the time, he is completely invisible. Mike Adams, and every other Colts free safety in our history, would also get a few interceptions over the course of an entire season.
Can't wait to hear how "Hooker prevents the deep ball because of how great he is". If your pass defense is in the bottom quarter of the NFL, your free safety far from elite.

I like Ballard, but I think he focuses too much on collecting second round picks. These picks are, way too hit or miss. Yes, Ballard had success with Darius Leonard, but has also drafted busts in Quincy Wilson and Tyquon Lewis. The best prospects are usually found in the first round, not the second round, and it was a bad decision to trade out of the first round in 2019.
